With the application of the geographic information system(GIS) technology, the microwave propagation technology and the mobile communication engineering technology, the visual signal coverage and the signal attenuation coverage of the localizer(LOC) and the glide path(GP) equipment of the instrument landing system(ILS) are assessed by using the method of visual analysis and signal attenuation analysis, compare the assessment results with the flight inspection data, The comparison results are basically consistent. This assessment provides a digital basis for the site selection approval and signal coverage analysis of a new ILS equipment, which has a high engineering application value.

A Reconfigurable Metasurface Enhancing signal coverage for Wireless Communication Using Reduced Numbers of p-i-n Diodes

This article proposes a reflective reconfigurable metasurface design that can reduce the number of p-i-n diodes required by up to 60% for enhancing wireless communication signal coverage. The metasurface is also optimized from two aspects of element and array and can achieve enhanced signal coverage in a variety of regions, which proposes a low-cost general-purpose scheme and device. The reconfigurable element with a relative bandwidth of 8.2% is designed in a "subarray" form to reduce the p-i-n diode loading by half, and the array is sparsely designed, resulting in a further reduction of 20%. The genetic algorithm (GA) optimization method suitable for the digital coding metasurface is proposed to optimize the element's phase discretization scheme and the array's sparse method. The proposed metasurface is loaded in familiar T-shaped corridor models, and the coverage enhancement is verified based on the co-simulation of different software, showing the device can be applied in different scenes. For the first time, systematic measurement in a realistic environment using a reconfigurable metasurface with a reduced number of p-i-n diodes is performed, which proves that it can achieve signal coverage improvement in the corridor and in the actual 5G communication environment. The results indicate that this design greatly reduces system complexity and cost, which can be compatible with existing communication optimization methods, providing a practical, scalable scheme and device for enhancing signal coverage in various scenes.

Point source scattering by two rectangular dielectric obstacles on a perfectly conducting screen is studied by solving approximately the integral equations resulting from the scattering theorem. The configuration can be used as a model describing antenna radiation over the sea in the presence of two islands, one of which is much larger than the other. The approach is scalar and two-dimensional, while a linear system, produced via analytical integrations, is derived to evaluate the field inside the scatterers. The received power on the two islands is presented in several diagrams as function of the material and distance parameters to estimate the signal coverage across the two regions.

in recent years, numerous antenna technologies have caught much attention since they have been proved to enhance the general functions of systems. Various services are now provided by systems with manifold antennas. These systems are capable of increasing credibility of telecommunications and enhancing channel capacity remarkably. They are also able to boost link quality which could lower interference in large extents. The present study proposes implementation of two different patch antenna elements in order to enhance coverage and signal strength of the radiation pattern. Typically, one-element and three-element antennas are applied to assess radiation pattern. Thus, the present study aims to discern signal strength of antennas. It is measured applying the frequency of WiMAX frequency communication system 2.3GHz. Data analysis results of the study demonstrate that as radiation pattern enhances, the number of elements in antennas goes up. As such, it can be concluded that the number of antenna elements should be increased in order to achieve more directivity.

Wireless networks are widely used in cabin networks due to their advantages of low cost and high flexibility. However, the complex electromagnetic environment in cabins can lead to path and fading loss effects, making it difficult to achieve full coverage of signal.. Therefore, this paper proposes a simulation optimization model for cabin wireless channel propagation based on ray tracing algorithms. The propagation path of wireless signals in the cabin is searched using the mirror method in the reverse ray tracing algorithm, and the total signal intensity is calculated based on the principle of signal superposition to generate the cabin wireless network signal coverage thermal map. The experimental results demonstrate that our simulation optimization model effectively verifies the rationality, feasibility, and reliability of deploying wireless networks in cabins.

Clever mirrored surfaces are a ground-breaking and innovative technique for future value frequency and environmentally friendly cellular transmission. In particular, an is made up of lots of inexpensive inductor, each of which is capable of autonomously reflecting the received signal with a programmable phase change to jointly accomplish multi detached subcarrier without the assistance of radio broadcast networks. In this article, we investigate a separate wirelessly system which employs an IRS to help with transmission between one number of co ap and a handful of single-antenna users. By good agreements the send modulation schemes by effective antenna elements and reflect spatial multiplexing by silent power switches, pursuant to users'particular transmission ratio restrictions, we devise and resolve new issues to reduce the total system throughput. In addition, we examine the dynamical properties of passive directional antennas with indefinitely many expressing components and contrast it with the behavior of the conventional active modulation schemes. According to the findings of the experiment, a Genuineness (openness and self-system is capable of achieving so same class performance as a baseline large network without the use of IRS while using a great deal fewer active signal boosters'network. A 1-bit passive reconfigurable metasurface for wide-angle scanning and broad-beam reflection

A reconfigurable reflective metasurface design is proposed in this letter, allowing for beam scanning capabilities. This paper integrates a tunable capacitor into the metasurface unit. This paper integrates a tunable capacitor into the metasurface unit. The resonant characteristics of the metasurface unit are controlled by the tunable capacitor, which can be adjusted by changing the rotation angle of the metal plate on the tunable capacitor. By rotating the metal plate of the capacitor, it achieves state 1 at maximum capacitance and state 0 at minimum capacitance, resulting in a phase difference of 180 degrees +/- 20 degrees between the states, thereby enabling 1-bit phase control. Leveraging the principle of phase compensation, the phase distribution of the array is designed to exhibit directional radiation characteristics. A reflective metasurface composed of a 20 x 20-element array is designed and simulated with these characteristics. The simulation results indicate that the scanning angle of the array-reflected beam can reach +/- 50 degrees, with a peak gain exceeding 14.6 dBi, an average gain of 13.8 dBi, and a gain loss of 1.5 dB. The beam's 3 dB beamwidth exceeds 15 degrees, enabling broader coverage. Joint simulations in typical indoor scenarios confirm the improved signal strength, highlighting the array's versatility. This design allows the reflective array to function as a passive reflector relay, effectively improving signal coverage in indoor NLOS.

Modern signal coverage maps are prepared based on industry-standard radio propagation models, which take into account a number of parameters, including: type of antenna, distance from the transmitter, type of terrain, etc. However, such simulations are prone to location-specific inaccuracies, and should be verified with in-situ measurements. This paper presents results of a field test of a terrestrial DAB+ (Digital Audio Broadcasting plus) network in the metropolitan area of the Tricity, the largest agglomeration in Northern Poland. Obtained results were compared to previously generated radio signal coverage maps. The study shown that terrain topology has a profound impact on signal strength, and should be more accurately implemented in coverage modeling, particularly in order to provide a stable and reliable high-quality connection.

Wireless sensor networks have gradually attracted widespread attention from academia and industry due to their wide application potential and versatility. In response to the coverage and routing issues of wireless sensor networks, this study combines the improved cuckoo algorithm and non-uniform clustering algorithm to design a coverage and routing optimization scheme for wireless sensor networks. Firstly, a wireless sensor network system is studied and built. Subsequently, the traditional cuckoo algorithm is optimized using the Cauchy distribution, and a coverage optimization scheme for wireless sensor networks based on the Cauchy distribution improved cuckoo algorithm is designed. Finally, by optimizing the dynamic range of network area and cluster radius respectively to improve the shortcomings of non-uniform clustering routing algorithms, a wireless sensor networks routing optimization scheme based on dynamic cluster radius optimization non-uniform clustering algorithm is designed. The research results indicated that the designed coverage scheme and routing scheme achieved good application results. Among them, the designed coverage scheme had a minimum running time of 0.89 minutes in node coverage problems and a maximum node coverage rate of 99.52%. The designed routing scheme had a minimum running time of 1.47 minutes and an energy loss rate of 0.84% in the routing optimization problem. In summary, the coverage scheme and routing optimization scheme designed by this research institute have good application effects and can provide certain technical support for the application of wireless sensor networks in other fields.

The worldwide development of thousands of terrestrial broadcasting networks over the past 90 years depended crucially upon the prediction and measurement of radio field strength. This work determines the actual coverage area of NTA television signal in Kebbi State, Nigeria, by quantitatively measuring the signal level of the signal. The signal level of the transmitter of Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Birnin-Kebbi channel 39 (615.25 MHz), and the corresponding distances were measured along some radial routes with the transmitting stations as the reference point. This measurement was taken using Digital signal Level Meter and Global Positioning System (GPS). From the data obtained, Surfer 13 software application was used to draw contour map of the signal level around the transmitting station to determine the coverage areas of the station. The result obtained show that the present configuration of the transmitter of the television station does not give an optimal coverage of the state. Only 4.05% of the entire land mass of the state has television signal coverage. Consequently, greater percentage of Kebbi State is completely out of NTA television signal coverage. So, there is need to have repeater stations at some intervals to ensure reception of the television signal throughout the state.
