A Multi-Image Encryption Based on sinusoidal coding Frequency Multiplexing and Deep Learning

Multi-image encryption technology is a vital branch of optical encryption technology. The traditional encryption method can only encrypt a small number of images, which greatly restricts its application in practice. In this paper, a new multi-image encryption method based on sinusoidal stripe coding frequency multiplexing and deep learning is proposed to realize the encryption of a greater number of images. In the process of encryption, several images are grouped, and each image in each group is first encoded with a random matrix and then modulated with a specific sinusoidal stripe;therefore, the dominant frequency of each group of images can be separated in the Fourier frequency domain. Each group is superimposed and scrambled to generate the final ciphertext. In the process of decryption, deep learning is used to improve the quality of decrypted image and the decryption speed. Specifically, the obtained ciphertext can be sent into the trained neural network and then the plaintext image can be reconstructed directly. Experimental analysis shows that when 32 images are encrypted, the CC of the decrypted result can reach more than 0.99. The efficiency of the proposed encryption method is proved in terms of histogram analysis, adjacent pixels correlation analysis, anti-noise attack analysis and resistance to occlusion attacks analysis. The encryption method has the advantages of large amount of information, good robustness and fast decryption speed.

Compressive sensing technique allows capturing fast phenomena at a much higher frame rate than the camera sensor, by recovering a frame sequence from their encoded combination. However, most conventional compressive video sensing methods limit the achieved frame rate improvement to tenfold and only support low resolution recovery. Making use of the camera's redundant spatial resolution for further frame rate improve, here we report a novel compressive video acquisition technique termed sinusoidal Sampling Enhanced Compressive Camera (S2EC2) to encode denser frames within a snapshot. Specifically, we decompose the dense frames into groups and apply combinational coding: random codes within each group for compressive acquisition;group specific sinusoidal codes to multiplex different groups onto the high resolution sensor. The sinusoidal codes designed for these groups would shift their frequency components by different offsets in the Fourier domain and staggered the dominant frequencies of the coded measurements of these groups. Correspondingly, the reconstruction successfully separate coded measurements of different groups and recovers frames within each group. Besides, we also solve the implementation problem of insufficient gray scale spatial light modulation speed, and build a prototype achieving 2000 fps reconstruction with a 15.6 fps camera (the actual compression ratio is 0.009). The extensive experiments validate the proposed approach.

There are many high performance speech coding algorithms, but most of them using bit rates higher than 5kbps. Expected quality of low bit rate speech coding has not been achieved yet, which is an area of interest for military and security applications. There is still room for improvement for low bit rates. Low bit rate speech coding using sinusoidal transform coding is discussed in this paper. The sinusoidal transform coding (STC) is a frequency domain speech compression technique, which can produce speech of high quality at bit rates below *** STC, speech signal are represented by linear combination of sine waves with time-vary amplitudes, phase, and frequencies. STC can produce high quality synthesized speech at low bit rates. This paper focuses on the development of a fully speech coder at 2.4 kbps and 4.8 kbps.

In this paper, we propose an adaptive jointly parameter quantization scheme for sinusoidal matching pursuit (MP) audio coding, where the sinusoidal parameters (amplitude, frequency, phase) are quantized jointly based on the real time statistical knowledge of parameters. The optimal quantizers which minimize the perceptual distortion under a given entropy constraint, are derived analytically by high-rate theory. In comparison tests, the significant improvements achieved with the proposed scheme are shown.

Transparent speech quality has not been achieved at low bit rates, especially at w2.4 kbps and below, which is an area of interest for military and security applications. In this paper, strategies for low bit rate sinusoidal coding arc discussed. Previous work in the literature on using metaframes and performing variable bit allocation according to the metaframe type is extended. An optimum metaframe size compromise between delay and quantization gains is found. A new method for voicing determination from the LPC shape is also presented. The proposed techniques have been applied to the SB-LPC vocoder to produce speech at 1.2/0.8 kbps, and compared to the original SB-LPC vocoder at 2.4/1.2 kbps as well as an established standard (MELP) at 2.4/1.2/0.6 kbps in a listening test. It has been found that the proposed techniques have been effective in reducing the bit-rate while not compromising the speech quality.

In this paper, the coreless medium-frequency induction melting furnace (IMF) system is represented by alternative field-data-based models, developed specifically for power quality studies. The IMF operation has been represented by a variable series RL circuit, to model the fundamental components of electrical quantities, and a shunt-connected current source, to model the generated harmonics and interharmonics over a typical melting cycle. Both the sinusoidal coding method applied to the major harmonics and interharmonics in the supply line currents obtained from field measurements and the raw data have been used in the developed models. It has been shown that the sinusoidal coding method can be used to satisfactorily represent the operation of the IMF system as seen from the supply terminals, with a minimum data storage requirement, and can be used to construct efficient IMF databases for power quality studies. The power quality problems of the IMF system, particularly the problematic time-varying interharmonic voltage distortion, and the interaction of those time-varying interharmonic currents with the passive shunt filter installations connected to the same bus have been investigated in detail, using the developed models.

A binaural audio synthesis system based on sinusoidal modeling is proposed for spatial, low-bitrate audio coding utilized for example in teleconference applications. The system transmits monaural sinusoidal parameters of a downmix signal, from which the left and right binaural signals are synthesized according to the directional metadata at the receiver. Typical sinusoidal synthesis methods, as well as the effectiveness of a monaural frequency masking model, are evaluated in binaural context. Furthermore, a method for binaural noise residual synthesis and efficiency improvements for HRTF parameter acquisition are suggested. Tests utilizing speech signals indicate that sinusoidal modeling is an attractive technique for applications such as the proposed one.

A modified delta encoding method a and its applications to speech signal are proposed. In this method, Hungarian algorithm is applied to find the minimum distance of arbitrary two frames in speech signal and minimum spanning tree is used to find an effective delta encoding path. In simulation, the method is applied to the compression of sinusoidal coding. The results show that the data size after compression is 6% smaller than a usual delta encoding whose path is not suitably permutated. In addition, the proposed method has the potential to apply on data security for practical use because the delta encoding path which can be used as the security key is unordered and long enough.

sinusoidal coding plays an important role in low-rate audio coding. Typically, (time/frequency) differential techniques are employed to reduce the bit ride for representing the sinusoidal components. In this paper we derive optimal entropy-constrained differential (quantisers for quantising the sinusoid parameters. More specifically, the quantisers minimise a perceptually relevant distortion measure while the corresponding quantisation indices satisfy an entropy constraint. The quantisers turn Out to be flexible and of low complexity. Subjective evaluations with audio signals suggest a bit-rate reduction as high as 20% with the derived quantisers over state-of-the-art (logarithmic) quantisers.
