Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters are widely used in digital signal processing (DSP) software, and optimization is required for better performance, faster computation, and flexibility. This paper describes the Modified Bacterial Foraging Algorithm (MBFA) to optimize the FIR filter coefficients that addresses major concerns in power usage, resource utilization, and rate of processing. The new design integrates Common Subexpression Elimination (CSE) and Canonical Signed Digit (CSD) methods for the elimination of redundant computation, decreasing hardware complexity, and improving energy efficiency. The architecture minimizes redundant multiplications and leverages best coefficient values to reduce power consumption and area significantly without sacrificing accuracy. The FIR filter is designed in Xilinx Vivado, and performance is measured in terms of important parameters like power consumption, delay, and resource utilization. Relative comparison with traditional optimization methods confirms the dominance of the MBFA-based FIR filter in the achievement of an optimal trade-off between performance and computational complexity. The results confirm MBFA as a strong and powerful optimization framework for improving the overall efficiency of FIR filter design. This study contributes to the design of low-power and high-speed DSP systems and is thus relevant in high-performance applications that require real-time processing

With the rapid advancement of drone technology, drones have demonstrated significant application potential in various fields such as agriculture, military, and logistics due to their efficiency and flexibility. However, the practical application of drones in obstacle avoidance tasks faces multiple challenges, including complex environmental perception, algorithmic performance bottlenecks, hardware compatibility issues, and system stability and reliability. These challenges have somewhat constrained the transformation of drones' potential into actual productivity. Therefore, research and development in obstacle avoidance technology for agricultural drones are crucial. This study analyzes the current difficulties and challenges faced by obstacle avoidance path planning algorithms, focusing on the classification, principles, advantages, and disadvantages of these algorithms, as well as their optimization and application in terms of real-time performance and efficiency. The study also looks forward to the future development trends of drone obstacle avoidance path planning algorithms, suggesting that future research will concentrate on the innovative integration of multiple algorithms, deeper fusion with AI technology, optimization of algorithms for specific environments, enhancement of real-time performance and robustness, coordinated hardware development, and improvement of multi-drone collaborative algorithms. These advancements aim to adapt to more complex flying and obstacle avoidance environments, thereby promoting the standardization and industrialization of drone technology.

One of the most in-demand resources in the contemporary period is picture captioning. In addition, there are built-in apps that use models from deep neural networks to create and provide a caption for a specific picture. picture captioning refers to the process of creating a description for a picture. It entails identifying key elements in a picture, as well as those items properties and the connections between them. Syntactically and semantically sound sentences are produced by it. VoiceCap is an innovative software for smartphones that uses sophisticated deep learning algorithms to automatically provide audio descriptions for photos and videos. Making sure people with all kinds of visual impairments can enj oy visual material to the fullest is its primary goal in advocating accessibility and inclusion. The VoiceCap cross-platform solution uses a combination of computer vision and natural language processing algorithms to generate spoken and text-based captions for user-uploaded photographs and videos. The captions' correctness and relevance to context are guaranteed by a state-of-the-art Vision-Encoder-Decoder Model.

With the development of information technology, especially the rapid progress of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, the traditional education model is facing a transformation. This paper analyzes the challenges of the current education model, and combines the latest progress of AI technology to build a comprehensive platform that integrates the functions of course management, learning progress tracking, intelligent recommendation and data analysis. The platform adopts micro-service architecture to improve the maintainability, expansibility and deployment flexibility of the system. The functional modules include user management, course management, learning management, intelligent recommendation and data analysis, aiming at deeply analyzing students' behaviors through AI algorithm, providing teaching feedback for teachers and personalized learning suggestions for students, thus improving teaching and learning effects. In terms of key technologies and algorithms, the platform integrates natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, deep learning and knowledge mapping to improve the level of intelligence. Algorithm selection includes collaborative filtering algorithm for personalized recommendation, K-means clustering algorithm for learning behavior analysis, and decision tree algorithm for teaching effect evaluation. The development environment involves highperformance hardware and software configuration, including cloud server, Linux system, Python language, database technology, etc., as well as version control and deployment using tools such as Git and Docker. In the testing and debugging stage, the stability, performance and security of the platform are ensured through unit testing, integration testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing and security testing. The research in this paper provides an efficient and intelligent online management platform for the education field to meet the challenge of educational modernization.

Aiming at the incentive mechanism issues in collaborative spectrum sensing and access for privacy protection in Internet of Things (IoT) crowd sensing, a multi-task winner selection mechanism based on differential privacy is proposed to address the privacy leakage in Mobile Crowd Sensing (MCS). This mechanism utilizes the exponential mechanism of differential privacy to select winners, protecting the cost privacy information of Crowd Sense Users (CSUs). Furthermore, to incentivize CSUs, a two-layer Stackelberg game algorithm is proposed. This algorithm can coordinate the compensation paid by Secondary Users (SUs) for spectrum access and the data quality reported by CSUs, thereby effectively enhancing the enthusiasm of CSUs to participate in sensing and the performance of collaborative spectrum detection. Simulation results using MATLAB software show that compared to traditional methods, the proposed algorithm increases the average user reward by $19.5 \%$.

Inspired by the collective behavior of organisms such as bee swarms and bird flocks, swarm algorithms are employed in artificial intelligence to tackle complex problems through the collaboration of multiple agents. This paper presents a digital validation environment designed to assess the performance of swarm algorithms. Two prominent algorithms were examined: Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Directional Pheromone Walk (DPW). Given its effectiveness in territory exploration, DPW was selected for this study. Implementation was carried out using the open-source Crazyflie drone. The digital validation environment allows for the simulation and exploration of randomized terrains, facilitating the appropriate selection of swarm algorithms. The proposed integration with hardware enabled rapid and efficient system implementation, demonstrating a robust approach to algorithm validation in virtual environments. This setup allows users to optimize battery usage, costs, and the number of drones in advance for practical system deployment.

On the Technology of High-Performance Parallel Simulation

Large-scale parallel simulation applications, characterized by complex computation, vast amount of data, great storage, large quantities of samples and strong causality, can only be realized by employing high-performance simulation supercomputer. This paper proposes the idea of “blending the general and the specialized” in developing high-performance simulation super-computer, in which various functions are enhanced, such as the compute node, specialized simulation synchronization network, globally shared I/O, and visualization system, based on the general supercomputer. The disadvantages of the HLA standard are also analyzed and the necessity is explained to develop the efficient parallel simulation infrastructure according to the characteristics of the high-performance simulation supercomputer. This paper also presents the experimental results of large-scale simulation applications running in our high-performance simulation supercomputer. As shown by such results, the execution efficiency is greatly improved in large-scale parallel simulation applications with enhanced high-performance simulation supercomputer and customized parallel simulation infrastructure.

The end-to-end automated driving system (ADS) has the capability to eliminate human errors present in driving tasks, thereby reducing the occurrence of traffic accidents and enhancing safety in the transportation sector. However, due to the complexity and opacity of its internal decision-making processes, which are often perceived as a black box, there is a potential for incorrect or unexpected extreme situations to arise, necessitating stringent robustness requirements. To comprehensively evaluate the performance of ADS, it is essential to generate a diverse array of safety-critical scenarios. This paper proposes a method aimed at generating test scenarios for ADS safety by combining domain models with hazardous factors that lead to violations or accidents. The method derives key objects and their environmental conditions that may cause accidents or violations from the hazardous factors obtained from corner cases. Based on this, we perform traversal operations on the domain model to create variations or reproductions of the identified objects and environmental conditions. Ultimately, through this series of operations, the generated safety-critical scenarios not only closely match real-world situations but also provide a reliable basis for further safety assessments. We simulated the generated scenarios on the industrial-grade ADS platform Apollo, successfully identifying safety violations.

The aim of this research is to implement a code generator that, following the requirements-gathering phase, will have all necessary information in the appropriate format to generate program code for a user interface with integrated data validation methods. To achieve this, the research enhances an existing tool for generating graphical user interface (GUI) code by extending the specification of user requirements as the primary input artifact and introducing an additional input element—a document related to domain-specific data. The textual files generated by the code generator include implemented methods for data validation on the GUI side. This work defines the algorithm that extracts and appropriately processes the input from user requirements and domain-specific artifacts to enable the seamless functioning of the implemented code generator, which is designed to be applicable to GUI development for any software system.

The outbreak of COVID-19 has led to a reduction in a number of services and activities, but it has also accelerated the development of communication and connectivity technologies as well as touchless technology to reduce human interaction. When compared to the previous ten years, it has caused a significant technological shift in practically every sector of society, including the medical and healthcare industries, which has resulted in a restructuring of society. Automated systems and electronic devices have evolved globally with cutting-edge technologies that help to minimize the loss caused by the pandemic situation as digitalization will continue to expand. Various devices provide promising performance and are effective in maintaining physical distancing among the people. IoT and 5G network-based systems are the main concepts used in the current review to address the CoV-19 pandemic and its aftermath, with regard to accurate early detection and diagnosis, rapid, targeted treatment, and prevention of similar infection spread in the future. Adopting intelligent digitization will help address the pandemic scenario, which will lead to the creation of new methods and technologies to successfully eradicate any epidemic condition in future.
