The use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) has evolved significantly, with a current focus on utilizing multiple UAVs in teams to achieve high-level objectives. To support this evolution, new networking frameworks are needed for the highly mobile nodes like UAVs in fleets. These frameworks enable both indirect and direct communication between nodes within communication range. However, constructing an ad hoc network between UAVs presents challenges, with criteria that differ from traditional networks such as Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs) and aerial ad-hoc networks using the Flower Pollination Algorithm Protocol (FPAP). This study presents network models of UAVs, highlights open research questions, explores opportunities and future directions, and discusses the challenges of deploying UAVs as ad hoc relay nodes. The research aims to enhance data transmission security in FPANETs to reduce the risks of black hole attacks. An Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model achieves 98.97% detection accuracy, while cluster-based routing streamlines network architecture and reduces complexity. Performance evaluations consider end-to-end latency, network throughput, hop count, and other network metrics. This paper highlights the effectiveness of these techniques in FPANET security and routing optimization.

It introduces an enhanced MPPT algorithm for addressing Partial Shading Conditions (PSC) affecting solar panels integrated with a DC-DC converter. The Perturb and Observe (P&O) technique is employed by the suggested methodology to control and normalize the non-linear output of PV systems operating under PSC. Unlike the conventional Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method, which exhibited limited effectiveness in PSC scenarios, the P&O method demonstrates the ability to effectively manage both global and local peaks, leading to enhanced operational efficiency. PSO fails to adapt to PSC due to its inability to handle varying power flows efficiently, resulting in constant power output with decreased efficiency. The comparative analysis validates the proposed approach mathematically, with results extensively discussed. The proposed topology is modelled using MATLAB/Simulink software to substantiate its advantages

The High Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC) is set to become operational in 2029, aiming to achieve instantaneous luminosities 5-7.5 times of the nominal value of the LHC. This poses significant challenges to the design of the Trigger and Data Acquisition systems. To address these challenges, a baseline architecture has been chosen for the ATLAS Phase-II upgrade, relying on a single-level hardware trigger known as the Level-0 Trigger. This trigger has a maximum rate of 1 MHz and a latency of $10 \mu \mathrm{s}$. The Global Trigger performs complex algorithms, akin to those currently used in Phase-I high-level trigger software (such as Topoclustering), on full-granularity calorimeter data. The Global Trigger is divided into three sublayers: the Multiplexer Processor (MUX) layer, the Global Event Processor (GEP) layer, and the Global to Central Trigger Processor interface (gCTPi). A full-function Global Common Module (GCM) hardware prototype has been designed to fulfill the requirements of all three sublayers of the Global Trigger, featuring different firmware loads. This GCM prototype, based on the ATCA form factor, incorporates two of the latest AMD (Xilinx) Versal Premium devices VP1802 and twenty Samtec 12-channel 25 Gb/s FireFly optical engines. These devices double the density of the Virtex UltraScale+ FPGA VU13P used in the previous design and include an integrated System-on-Chip (SoC) with a completely new architecture. The development of an ATCA blade with two large FPGAs and about 240 optical links running at $25 \mathrm{~Gb} / \mathrm{s}$ is a very challenging task. The power integrity, signal integrity, and thermal simulations, hardware design considerations, functionalities, and performance test results of this GCM prototype will be presented.

This article presents an experiment conducted among students of the Faculty of “software Engineering” of the Urgench branch of TATU named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi. Teaching programming using online platforms in education has shown promising results in improving student outcomes. This article discusses the methodology used, the comparative results, and the impact of the platform on software education. The rapid adoption of online platforms in education has changed the way programming is taught, providing students with an interactive, hands-on learning environment. This shift is especially relevant in teaching programming, where real-time feedback and practice are essential to mastering algorithms and coding concepts. The study compared two groups: one was trained using the https://***/platform and the assignments were checked using this system, and the second group was trained using traditional methods. The results showed that students who used the online platform had a high level of mastery, which highlighted the effectiveness of integrating https://***/into programming education.

Sequence generation research based on Generative Adversarial Networks is often limited by the specified adversarial optimization strategy, which seriously affects the optimization performance during the training process. How to improve the quality of sequence data is the main concern, especially for the category sequence data, which not only needs to improve the quality of the generated data but also to ensure the diversity of the data. Previous research is mainly committed to the introduction of additional dimensional information to achieve the purpose of increasing the diversity of the generation, but these methods often lead to the model overly relying on the specific label information, which results in the generation of sequence data diversity and quality can not be guaranteed. In this paper, inspired by evolutionary algorithms, we propose an algorithm based on the dual evolution of the discriminator and the generator, which improves the diversity and quality of the generated category sequence data by using complementary evolutionary strategies and collaborative fitness functions. In order to evaluate the performance of the model proposed in this study, experiments were conducted on the MR dataset using Negative Log Likelihood (NLL) and Bilingual Evaluation Understudy (BLEU) as evaluation metrics. After comparing the results with other algorithms, it is shown that the method in this paper has advantages in improving the quality and diversity of sequence data generation.

Reconstructing the attractors of unknown chaotic systems from time series data presents a formidable challenge with broad applications across various disciplines. In this paper, we propose a swarm intelligence approach to address this challenge, focusing specifically on low-dimensional chaotic maps. Our approach is based on the bat algorithm, a renowned bio-inspired optimization technique well-suited for continuous optimization tasks. We evaluate the effectiveness and validity of our proposed approach by applying it to two distinct examples of chaotic maps: the Burger map and the Duffing map. Through comprehensive experimentation, we showcase the satisfactory performance of our method in reconstructing attractors from time series data. Based on our empirical findings, we conclude that our approach holds significant promise for the reconstruction of attractors of low-dimensional chaotic maps using time series data.

Basic safety messages (BSMs) serve as one of the main information types transmitted with vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications to primarily improve traffic safety. However, BSMs also offer potential as a resource for traffic state estimation, which helps in optimizing traffic control measures. This study presents an approach based on the Kalman filter to estimate traffic conditions using BSM data. To evaluate the performance of the proposed model, test dataset are prepared using BSM data generated from microscopic simulation. Results show that while speed estimations show high precision, flow and density predictions present challenges, particularly at low BSM penetration rates. Nonetheless, the data may provide more detailed insights than existing traffic sensors.

Mandible reconstruction with fibula free flap requires precise and safe bone resection during the osteotomy of the flap using a surgical robotic system. In this study, a force-position hybrid control strategy is proposed to enable collaborative osteotomy between humans and robots. Additionally, a method is presented to restrict the motion degrees of freedom of the surgical tool, along with a planar boundary collision algorithm based on the enclosing box tree. The proposed methodology is successfully integrated into a previously developed surgical planning system, and an overall design framework for the surgical robot system is established. The hardware and software integration of the system is also completed. Furthermore, a model experimental platform is constructed to verify the accuracy of the osteotomy and the stability and reliability of the surgical robot’s operation.

Spiking Neural Networks (SNNs) simulators are essential tools to prototype biologically inspired models and neuromorphic hardware architectures and predict their performance. For such a tool, ease of use and flexibility are critical, but so is simulation speed especially given the complexity inherent to simulating SNN. Here, we present SNNAX, a JAX-based framework for simulating and training such models with PyTorch-like intuitiveness and JAX-like execution speed. SNNAX models are easily extended and customized to fit the desired model specifications and target neuromorphic hardware. Additionally, SNNAX offers key features for optimizing the training and deployment of SNNs such as flexible automatic differentiation and just-in-time compilation. We evaluate and compare SNNAX to other commonly used machine learning (ML) frameworks used for programming SNNs. We provide key performance metrics, best practices, documented examples for simulating SNNs in SNNAX, and implement several benchmarks used in the literature.

Brushless Excitation Systems have been widely used in Synchronous Generators as it reduces the losses, maintenance and improves the reliability of the system by eliminating the usage of commutator, brushes and slip rings. Rotating diode bridge rectifier is the main part of brushless excitation system. Due to aging phenomenon and continuous process regime, the diode in the rotating bridge rectifier can fail either due to open circuit or short circuit. If such a failure prolonged, the Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) as well as the Exciter winding can be damaged. This paper briefly describes the structure of Brushless Excitation System technology and its operation. The paper presents the modeling of Brushless Excitation System in Real Time Digital Simulator (RTDS) and simulations carried out to study the behavior of system during the diode open circuit condition and short circuit condition in a rotating bridge rectifier. It describes the technique/principle established for detecting a diode failure condition and its validation using RTDS. It also describes the suitable hardware architecture consisting of Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) & Processor module chosen to implement the developed diode failure detection algorithm. The paper summarizes the implementation of developed algorithm on hardware and the performance evaluation carried out through Hardware-In-Loop (HIL) testing using RTDS. It also presents the various tests carried out to evaluate the performance of developed detection relay on test bed of Brushless Excitation System.
