Owing to the confined spatial constraints on the exterior of oil pipelines, the capability of a wall-climbing robot to inspect the welds is impeded by its lack of rotational mobility. To address this limitation, the present study initially develops a unidirectional articulated appendage integrated into the robot's design. The manipulator is mainly composed of steering engine, fixed synchronization belt and c ring rack. Secondly, the trajectory control of the needle manipulator in the working process has the disadvantages of large error deviation, poor robustness and low efficiency. A neural network adaptive control method is proposed. Confronted with trajectory deviations stemming from manipulator system inaccuracies and frictional disturbances, this study employs a Radial Basis Function (RBF) neural network for the identification and compensation of dynamic model uncertainties, thereby enhancing the precision of the actuating torque. Subsequently, by fine-tuning the adaptation law coefficients of the neural network weights, the formulated control strategy, inclusive of the identification outcomes, adheres to the Lyapunov stability criteria, thereby substantiating the system's dynamic stability.

This paper presents the implementation and performance analysis of five digital parallel array multipliers: Conventional Array Multiplier, Modified Braun’s Multiplier, Vedic Multiplier, Booth’s Multiplier, and Baugh-Wooley Multiplier. It details the design principles, algorithms, and hardware implementations of each multiplier. The multipliers are evaluated based on speed, area, and power consumption via simulation using Xilinx Vivado software with Artix-7 FPGA Board. The results highlight the trade-offs in each design and provide insights into their suitability for various digital signal processing applications.

The objective of the research was to develop a computational interface that allows the automatic drawing of the power chart and is compatible with current automation process equipment such as the HMI and SCADA for the H.C. Machu. The research approach is quantitative, the method is deductive-descriptive, the type of research carried out is applied, a descriptive level of research and the design was non-experimental and longitudinal. Obtaining as a result from the mathematical review of the construction of the power curves of the synchronous generators for both smooth poles and salient poles, the operating restrictions in operability limits, conditions of maximum exciter current, maximum stator current, maximum primary motor power, minimum starting power, were absorbed into Cartesian and polar expressions, in such a way that this allowed the delivery of the algorithms to be processed computationally. Concluding that it was possible to develop a graphical interface in the MATLAB software, which traces the power curve of the synchronous generators, the location of the operating points and control of the operability limits through the current of the excitation field applicable to the Machu Hydroelectric Power Plant.

Approximate String Matching is a principle of data retrieval that allows for typos or misspelled words. It is widely applied in database management systems, search engines, and even in various applications and online services. Therefore, constantly seeking new algorithms to search for data quickly and accurately is a constant challenge for computer science researchers. This research article presents a new Approximate String Matching Algorithm utilizing a novel data structure called Backward Inverted Lists, which is an advancement of the Inverted Lists data structure commonly used for Single pattern String Matching. This new data structure enables the new Approximate String Matching Algorithm proposed in this research to efficiently detect Edit-distance values faster and more efficiently than conventional baseline methods. The newly proposed algorithm demonstrates low computational complexity and time, operating in linear time, making data retrieval faster than commonly used algorithms. Experimental results provide clear evidence that the new method outperforms previous methods significantly in both random data retrieval and real data retrieval from genome and DNA sequences. Additionally, the Backward Inverted Lists data structure exhibits flexibility and can be extended to support the development of various searching and approximate string matching algorithms in the future.

During the operation of mechanical equipment, there will be inevitable wear and aging and other problems, and along with the increase of loss, it will lead to various failures, affecting production quality and efficiency. In order to solve this problem, this paper obtains data from the network, synthesizes the six indicators that cause mechanical equipment failure into three more comprehensive indicators - “machine-room temperature difference”, “power” and “work”, and uses the entropy weight method to find the weight of these three indicators for mechanical equipment failure. Then, using the decision tree model, a system is established to judge whether the equipment is faulty. Then, based on the XGBoost algorithm, the failure type of the equipment is further determined, and then through quantitative analysis, it is concluded that torque has an important influence on the mechanical equipment failure. Through the research in this paper, equipment maintenance can be accurately carried out, the overall industrial environment operation can be improved, and the economic benefits can be effectively increased.

Now there is a growing trend of transition from the Internet of personal computers to the Internet of things. In our society, electronic devices that improve our lives and interact with the Internet are increasingly common. Mobile phones, electronic keys, household appliances – all of them are equipped with processors and operate within the global Internet. Due to the growing demand for such devices, attention is being paid to the development of lightweight ciphers. In 2018, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) published a call for lightweight authenticated ciphers and hash functions for environments with software or hardware limitations. As a result, the development and analysis of lightweight cryptographic algorithms has become popular among researchers. The paper presents a new lightweight encryption algorithm LEA. LEA is a 48-bit symmetric block algorithm. It supports 60 bit secret key. The number of rounds is 4. The algorithm has the structure of a Feistel network. The developed lightweight algorithm has a simple implementation scheme, and the transformations used in this algorithm have good cryptographic properties.

The workflow scheduling problem is a fundamental task in cloud computing. This paper addresses the challenge of workflow scheduling in dynamic and uncertain cloud environments, where computing resources may become inaccessible due to hardware or software failures. To tackle this challenge, we propose a novel algorithm called the Order Feature Guided Multi-Population (OFGMP) algorithm for dynamic workflow scheduling in cloud environments. The OFGMP algorithm utilizes a multi-population evolutionary framework, incorporating a knowledge-guided reproduction operator that leverages the order feature of solutions, as well as repair mechanisms to adapt to changing environmental conditions. Extensive experiments are conducted to validate the algorithm’s performance against existing dynamic scheduling approaches. The experimental results demonstrate the superiority of our proposed method over others on a number of test cases.

The article examines the problem of formalizing the process of building and solving problems to enhance the quality of knowledge transfer and practical skills. Various approaches to addressing this issue are analyzed, with a particular focus on the automatic generation of practical problems and their solution within an applied software environment. A method for generating a set of problems and automatically solving them is proposed. The suggested method offers advantages over existing ones, a fact confirmed by experimental studies.

In order to facilitate the identification of contents in production containers, a cascade algorithm has been developed. The two stages of the algorithm are the detection of container cells and the classification of each cell's contents. When compared to using a direct pattern detection algorithm without a cell detection step, the suggested algorithm dramatically decreased the classification errors. Experimental results showed 100% accuracy in detection and 89% accuracy in classification.

Aiming at the impact of node faults on normal business operation in computer networks, a log information-driven fault prediction method is proposed. By constructing an efficient deep learning model and introducing a correction mechanism, node faults in computer networks are predicted and diagnosed to support network operation and maintenance requirements. Firstly, the log information generated by each node in the computer network is collected, the state vector of each node and the state matrix of all nodes are obtained, and then the data set is supplemented by the state filling principle. Finally, the fault prediction problem is transformed into a time series prediction problem. The performance was evaluated in GAIA, a public smallscale operation and maintenance data set. The experimental results show that compared with other algorithms, the proposed model has a good prediction effect in local network scenarios, and the prediction effectiveness has been verified, which provides a certain reference value for computer network fault prediction research.
