The Iyal app is a real-time communication tool designed to assist those who are hard of hearing or deaf in daily situations, much like the Nagish app. Through speech-to- text translation and vice versa, Iyal ensures seamless communication in both personal and professional contexts. Because the software is bilingual, users may communicate with ease regardless of the language being spoken. Its advanced AI speech recognition and text-to-speech algorithms produce accurate translations in real time. Reversible font sizes and background colors are among the adjustable accessibility options that Iyal provides to further meet various needs. This user-friendly program can assist the deaf population become more connected and autonomous, which will increase social engagement and facilitate conversations.

Simulation-driven optimisation is increasingly utilised in the design and control development of soft robots and actuators. However, setting up such an optimisation pipeline is complex, often requiring the integration of multiple software tools and algorithms, which can compromise *** address these challenges, we propose a single integrated environment that allows for the flexible description of soft robots and actuators. Our system robustly handles geometry generation, meshing, simulation, and *** achieve this by using implicit geometry shape functions and voxelisation to create tetrahedral meshes, followed by Extended Position-Based Dynamics (XPBD) to simulate soft materials. As XPBD lacks physical constants, we use an evolutionary optimisation algorithm to calibrate simulation parameters to real-world behaviour and assess how geometry and voxel count affect simulation accuracy. Once calibrated, we find these parameters enable accurate simulations of more complex ***, we validate the effectiveness of our integrated environment by optimising a cylindrical soft actuator, demonstrating its potential as an optimisation platform for the field of soft robotics.

This paper describes a macromodeling algorithm to build behavioral models of nonlinear systems and components in a data-driven manner. The main tool is an extension of the Vector Fitting algorithm to perform rational approximation of multivariate transfer functions that describe nonlinear systems according to Volterra series theory. In addition to the rational model, a realization in terms of differential equations is provided so as to enable time-domain simulation. The raw data required by this algorithm can be extracted by means of Harmonic Balance analysis or from X-parameters, both available in commercial software.

software defect prediction is used to identify the most likely defect-prone modules. This activity can help the quality assurance team to distribute limited resources efficiently as well as reduce the time and cost of the testing phase. Support Vector Machine (SVM) has been widely used to build software defect prediction models. Nevertheless, the accuracy of such method depends on multiple factors such as the type of SVM method, choice of kernel functions and dimensionality of the dataset. This paper continues along that research line and examines the impact and stability of four kernel functions and feature dimensionality reduction on the performance of SVM for software defect pre- diction. Comprehensive experiments have been conducted using four kernel functions, ten feature selection thresholds based on the Information gain algorithm, and seven public datasets. This has resulted in 280 experiments. The findings demonstrate that there is no kernel function that can show stable performance across different experimental settings. However, both Radial basis and Sigmoid kernel functions showed more stability than Polynomial and Linear kernel functions. In addition, changing the feature set from high to low dimensionality for each kernel function did not always improve the accuracy of SVM, which contradicts the findings that say using a small set of features can be as effective as using a large set of features.

This article shows an algorithm that determines the constants necessary to achievethe time accuracy of a delay by software routine called delay by sums, for use with embeddedprocessors or systems. The algorithm demonstrates the methodology to achieve accurate times and concludes with the obtaining of a linear equation of first degree with three unknowns, from which these values can be obtained; however, the equation obtained requires a special procedure to determine the value of each of the variables, which is described in this paper.

software defects may cause severe crashes in the system, leading to the software's high maintenance costs. Early identification of these defects would lead to high-quality software, thus saving time and money. This study proposes five feature selection approaches based on evolutionary computing algorithms, each coupled with a majority voting ensemble for software defect prediction. The objective is to improve the existing process by targeting the metric selection stage. The study was conducted on thirty open-source defect datasets. The proposed feature selection techniques were applied on a within-project defect prediction model and a heterogeneous defect prediction model. The Friedman and the Wilcoxon Signed-rank test concluded that the proposed techniques were promising and generated results comparable to some other state-of-the-art feature selection methodologies.

software-defined network (SDN) is a new network paradigm in recent years. Because of its advantages of global view and network programmability, SDN-based data center load balancing has gradually become a research hotspot in computer domain. Traditional load balancing methods can't effectively obtain the statistical data of network equipment or the factors influencing load balancing are too single, which leads to low efficiency and poor flexibility. Because of its specific network structure, the software definition network has the characteristics of centralized control over the acquisition and distribution of global network resources. The method adopted in this paper is ant colony algorithm, which randomly selects the value in a certain range according to the value setting of the route pheromone, so as to ensure that the ants do not rely solely on pheromones when choosing the route, but have certain “innovation” to prevent the algorithm from falling into local optimum. When the ants have traversed all the nodes, in order to avoid the left pheromones from volatilizing and make them more effective, it is necessary to update the left pheromones in time. The research shows that this algorithm is superior to the traditional algorithm and can be widely used.

Purpose of work is combined electromagnetic silence effectiveness experimental studies including active and solid passive parts of overhead power lines magnetic field. Combined silence consists of double-circuit active and U-shaped solid passive part, and characterized by increased efficiency. Combined silence design problem reduced to geometric inverse magneto-quasi-static problem solution. Vector objective function of minimax vector optimization problem calculated based on three-dimensional Maxwell equations solution by COMSOL Multiphysics ® software package. Minimax vector optimization problem solution calculated based on multi-swarm particle optimization algorithm. Global optimum calculated from Pareto-optimal solutions taking into account binary preference relations. During combined silence design active silence system two compensation windings spatial location coordinates and compensation windings currents and phases calculated. The U-shaped solid passive silence parameters also calculated. Designed combined silence effectiveness based on three-dimensional modeling theoretical and experimental studies carried out.

Television dramas serve as an important medium for the dissemination of intangible cultural heritage. However, the film and television big data face challenges such as a singular data storage model, inefficient data processing methods, and outdated data analysis techniques. These issues hinder the ability to meet the demands of applications that require vast amounts of data, particularly in analyzing television ratings, which negatively impacts the global dissemination of intangible culture. To address this, this paper employs machine learning methods to process and analyze film and television big data, thereby enhancing the efficiency of data processing and the accuracy of viewing predictions. Specifically, we utilize the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm and the AdaBoost-BP algorithm to classify and predict television drama viewership levels and ratings. By applying these algorithms to reduced-dimension feature data from television dramas, we aim to establish a viewership prediction model. Furthermore, we will compare the predictive outcomes to summarize more effective forecasting algorithms. The results indicate that the AdaBoost-BP algorithm is more robust than the SVM algorithm, indicating that the SVM algorithm still has certain limitations in solving big data analysis problems. The predicted viewership level of AdaBoost-BP is 70%, and the root mean square error of the predicted viewership is less than 20%. While the AdaBoost-BP algorithm has more advantages in massive data analysis scenarios.

Assembly algorithm plays a vital role in the functionality of OBS networks. In this article, the fixed and dynamic assembly period algorithms are analyzed and also, we proposed Enhanced Fast Recovery dynamic assembly period Algorithm (EFRDAP) to decrease the burst loss probability. In contrast, the proposed algorithm is simulated and contrasted with the fixed and dynamic assembly period algorithms. From the results it is evident that the proposed EFRDAP algorithm gives better performance in the aspect of reduction in burst dropping rate and increase in throughput.
