Warehouse management is vital for optimizing supply chain operations, influencing efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. This paper presents an automated Warehouse Inventory Management System (WIMS) that enhances efficiency through real-time shelf monitoring, remote user interaction, and optimized pathfinding using Dijkstra’s algorithm. Built with an Arduino Uno, LEDs, shift registers, and infrared receivers, the system simulates an 8-shelf warehouse, providing instant inventory updates. Results show improved retrieval times and resource allocation, making WIMS a scalable and adaptable solution for modern warehouses. Future enhancements include advanced algorithms, IoT integration, and a graphical user interface for improved functionality.

This paper proposes an algorithm based on the Time-Domain Shooting and Bouncing Rays (TDSBR) method. Firstly, based on the theory of traditional shooting and bouncing rays, the theory is extended from the far field to the near field region, and a method for calculating the near-field field strength of the target using the Frequency-Domain Shooting and Bouncing Rays (FDSBR) is derived. Then, considering the deficiency of FDSBR in analyzing the target’s time-domain response, the algorithm is extended to time-domain analysis and a formula for solving the near field time-domain response of the target using TDSBR is derived. The algorithm is implemented through programming and compared with commercial simulation software, proving its feasibility and efficiency. Finally, the electric field strength at different positions inside the civil air defense project is calculated, and the electromagnetic pulse coupling situation of the entrance door of the civil air defense project under different states is analyzed, providing effective simulation data for electromagnetic protection of civil air defense projects.

In Cloud Computing (CC) environment, load balancing among Virtual Machine (VMs) with various task lengths, start time, and execution time presents a significant challenge. Effective load balancing ensures that workloads are distributed dynamically across VMs, preventing any from being overloaded or underutilized, which otherwise can cause excessive energy consumption. In this research, the proposed Dual Memory Search - Harmony Search Algorithm (DMSHSA) efficiently searches multiple solutions in parallel, allowing for optimal distribution of workloads across VMs. The DMSHSA enhances load balancing by optimizing task allocation based on the execution requirements, helping to minimize the response time and energy consumption. The proposed load balancing algorithm is implemented using Python for evaluating its effectiveness in terms of energy consumption, latency, and throughput. The developed DMS-HSA achieves a makespan of $\mathbf{2. 5 5}, \mathbf{2. 7 8}, \mathbf{2. 9 9}, 3.23$ and 3.75, respectively, with $20,30,40,60$ and 80 VMs. The simulation outcomes show that the DMS-HSA based load balancing scheme outperforms the existing techniques namely, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) Enhanced Q-Learning algorithm (QMPSO) and Parallel PSO (PPSO) algorithm.

The high data latency in real-world applications makes the standard online training platform incompatible. As a result, online video-based English teaching system is created using computer algorithms and 5G wireless network communication technologies. The Multimedia English online teaching platform's overall architecture is created with the actual functional requirements of online instruction in mind. The main controller, memory, and data collector hardware are used in this architecture to create the platform. The software components can be separated into two sections according to 5G wireless network communication technology and advanced computer algorithms. It is composed of several useful modules. The administrator, teacher, and student submodules' primary tasks serve as the foundation for the creation of the platform's functional modules. Simultaneously, the analytic hierarchy method and the evaluation domain are combined to calculate the weight of the indicators and establish the quality evaluation of online multimedia English instruction. The platform design is finished with the level model. The experimental findings demonstrate that the platform's test results are following expectations and have the potential to significantly raise the standard and effectiveness of online video-based English instruction. The average teaching efficiency is 96.27%, and the quality of instruction is consistently greater than 95%.

In response to the issues of low security and computational efficiency in current lattice-based proxy blind signature systems, a novel identity-based proxy blind signature scheme utilizing lattices is proposed. This scheme integrates the user's identity information through matrix accumulation operations to serve as the verification public key, simplifying the identity validation process and strengthening both security and privacy measures. The user's private key as well as the proxy signing key are produced through the extended algorithm of the left sampling algorithm, while the rejection sampling algorithm is employed to produce the proxy blind signature. These enhance the space utilisation of keys and signatures. Moreover, the scheme's security is reducible to solving the small integer solution problem, thereby attaining resilience against one-more unforgeability under the adaptive chosen-message attacks within the random oracle model. Compared to other schemes, our scheme features smaller key and signature sizes, resulting in greater efficiency.

With the rapid advancement of science and technology, people's yearning for a more convenient life has gradually become concrete, which has given rise to a huge logistics industry chain. At the same time, the ever-increasing labor costs have caused an urgent need for autonomous delivery vehicles. This paper presents the design and integration of an autonomous vehicle system for efficient indoor parcel delivery, addressing the challenges of navigating dynamic indoor environments. This vehicle system leverages a multi-sensor approach, integrating LiDAR, radar, Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), GPS, and odometer data to provide comprehensive environmental perception and precise localization, which will contribute to the field by providing a practical application of autonomous vehicle technology in a constrained environment, offering a solution for the logistics industry’s indoor delivery challenges.

As modern engineering optimisation problems become increasingly complex, a significant number of them exhibit multimodal characteristics. This implies that there are multiple local optimal solutions and a single global optimal solution. This not only increases the difficulty of problem-solving, but also necessitates the development of more sophisticated algorithms for optimisation. In this work, by constructing intelligent agents to continuously optimize their behavior strategies in the search process of multimodal optimization problems, they use environmental feedback to continuously optimize their behavior strategies, and at the same time simulate the process of natural selection and genetic variation to generate multiple candidate solutions, so as to conduct extensive searches on a global scale. Deep neural networks are used to build policy networks and value networks for reinforcement learning agents, enabling agents to accurately predict the potential benefits of different search strategies through a large amount of training data. Through real-time monitoring and analysis of feedback information, the model dynamically adjusts the search strategy to balance exploration and utilization, avoid falling into the local optimal solution, and finally find the global optimal solution. Experimental analysis shows that the model performs well in dealing with complex multimodal optimization problems, and significantly improves the efficiency and effect of solving.

Recent advancements in machine learning and deep learning techniques have significantly enhanced the performance of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Automatic Target Recognition (ATR). However, the inherent opacity and uncertainty of AI pose challenges, as there is a lack of systematic testing and standardized metrics for evaluating AI-based SAR ATR systems. It hinders the application of SAR ATR system in safety-critical domains. In this paper, we present testing and assessment framework for AI-based SAR ATR system inspired recent developed AI-system testing and standard. We further present the level-1 and level 2 metrics to assess the SAR-ATR systems. It does not involve that algorithm recognition performance but the whole software system quality in the perspective of software engineering. Throughout testing and assessment for the whole system, it fosters application of the AI-based SAR ATR system in practice.

Automation of ship maneuvering in limited sailing conditions usually requires 100% redundancy of thrusters (THRs) of various modifications and their locations in accordance with the matrix. The hierarchy of the motion control system is branched by levels using high-level motion controllers and THRs control distribution algorithms, which allows for a modular design with software, where the high-level controller (HLC) can be designed without comprehensive information about the thruster motors, and the input signal branching and speed limits are handled by the motion controller. But, for certain THRs configurations, this branching leads to the decrease in control efficiency due to the limitation of data on the physical characteristics of the ships and the operation of the motion controller. This research examines different approaches to improving control efficiency using methods of nonlinear predictive control models as a basis for developing motion controllers with decision optimization based on relevant constraints. The implemented branched system is the result of solving two simple problems of ship's motion, which highlight the related problems. The use of different approaches to eliminate the identified shortcomings made it possible to develop the nonlinear controller that combines the motion controller with distributed control of the THRs and ensuring the certain level of system reliability. The modularity of the control system is provided by the expansion of the closed system, which made it possible to achieve an increase in efficiency during the combined mode of operation. The obtained solution of nonlinear control with time-varying constraints made it possible to increase the accuracy of the control with a decrease in the duration of the pause in response to the change of the disturbance within 10 % .

Fatigue driving is the main factor causing traffic accidents. To reduce the traffic risk, we explores a driver fatigue detection method based on OpenCV combined with PHOG algorithm. By extracting facial feature points from the eyes and mouth of drivers, this study employs an adaptive eyelid closure threshold for the eyes and a feature correction algorithm based on Euler angles. This approach enables real-time computation of fatigue indicators such as PERCLOS, blink frequency, and yawn frequency. By weighting and fusing these characteristic indicators, a fatigue score for the driver is derived. Based on predefined thresholds, the driver’s fatigue level is assessed, and corresponding warning messages are issued. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in identifying driver fatigue, providing a reliable auxiliary tool for enhancing driving safety.
