This article describes the development of an algorithm for increasing the accuracy of measuring the frequency and bandwidth of a signal in conditions of limited digital technology resources and time constraints. The purpose of the study was to apply the short-length FFT and CORDIC algorithms together. To do this, an algorithm was developed and tested on Xilinx FPGAs. As a result, an algorithm was obtained that can be used in systems where it is not possible to implement a long-length FFT, but high accuracy is required.

GraphWalker is a widespread automated model-based testing tool that generates executable test cases from graph models of a system under test. GraphWalker implements only two random test generation algorithms and has no optimization-based algorithm, where an evaluation of its performance in test lengths and coverage remains an open question in the literature. In this work, we performed experiments on three realistic systems to evaluate redundancy, coverage, and length of GraphWalker test cases. The experimental results show that even the best GraphWalker test cases are highly redundant, limited in edge pair coverage, and need significantly longer test cases to increase edge pair coverage. Overall, we establish a baseline to compare future optimization-based algorithms with, while the amount of improvement and its impact are important research questions for the future.

Video-pass-through (VPT) augmented reality (AR) enables greater field of view and fidelity compared to current optical-see-through AR technologies. However, the computational complexity of VPT AR has traditionally resulted in high latency, low resolution, and/or visual artifacts. Only recently have devices come on the market that successfully mitigate these drawbacks, such as the Varjo XR-3 and XR-4, the Apple Vision Pro, and the Meta Quest 3. We propose that low-latency VPT AR introduces several interesting 3D User Interface (3DUI) capabilities. In this position paper, we discuss one of these 3DUIs, namely stereo-correct digital magnification of the physical environment. Specifically, this paper presents a novel system for stereo-correct digital magnification of the physical environment using the Varjo XR-3 (but that can be generalized to other VPT AR systems). The digital magnification algorithm we propose enables stereoscopic magnification of physical objects in real time by utilizing the front-facing camera feeds of the VPT AR system, implemented entirely through software. In addition, we outline the challenges and limitations associated with the proposed system, discuss our current progress, and suggest potential future directions for the development of our proposed VPT AR digital magnification system.

The article considers the problem of developing a solution for automating the process of visualizing indicators of the quality assessment of manufactured products at an industrial enterprise. The existing methods and tools for data visualization are considered, the architecture and main components of the proposed automation system are presented, and the advantages of the proposed solution compared to traditional approaches are discussed. A description of the process of creating a computer program designed to automate the processing of big data and their visualization is proposed. The structured data entering the program are metal quality indicators, which are obtained on the basis of processing reporting documentation from the enterprise information system. The features of software libraries and methods of working with them are described, and an algorithm for the software module is developed. Data visualization in the form of graphs is based on information about faulty products, presented as multidimensional data.

The terahertz (THz) bands, which are also typically referred to as the spectrum beyond 100 GHz, are emerging thanks to the abundant spectral resources, including continuous bands of spectrum that may be wider than 20 GHz. The availability of spectrum with bands over 20 GHz is an exciting opportunity for ultra-broadband wireless systems, including next-generation communications, networking, and sensing systems. As the carrier frequencies being considered continue to increase, the wavelength correspondingly reduces, in turn leading to smaller antennas with increased bandwidths. Even a narrowband patch antenna at 400 GHz could have more than 20 GHz of bandwidth even though the fractional bandwidth is only 5% of the center frequency. This leads to exciting new capabilities in broadband digital signal processing (DSP) and software defined radio (SDR) systems when used at such high carrier frequencies.

The article is intended to consider a method of data storage based on the use of a modified relative unary coding system. During the research, it is planned to develop a data storage algorithm using relative unary code. It is planned to identify the disadvantages and advantages of the proposed algorithm. Suggest a method for the utilitarian application of the developed algorithm for relative information storage. Provide formulas for the utilitarian application of the developed algorithm for relative information storage. To test the functionality of the model, create software that implements the developed algorithm for relative information storage. Show that the information sequences used in the method are mutually orthogonal and belong to the orthonormal Euclidean space. Establish additional ways to reduce information redundancy that increase the compression ratio of the unary data encoding method. Adapt the data compression method by encoding the lengths of the series for use in the developed algorithm for relative information storage. Evaluate the efficiency of data storage in the relative storage algorithm.

Fat-Intra Body Communication (Fat-IBC) leverages the unique dielectric properties of human adipose tissue for low-loss microwave signal propagation. This work presents a comprehensive analysis framework combining interpolation and extrapolation algorithms to predict transmission characteristics (S 21 ) across varying phantom lengths and antenna configurations. Interpolation accurately models intermediate lengths, while extrapolation extends predictions to unmeasured distances up to 100 cm. A software application was developed to integrate these computational models with a user-friendly interface and compatibility with microwave design tools. The results validate the efficiency of Fat-IBC for inbody-to-inbody configurations while highlighting challenges in onbody setups. This study establishes a foundation for optimizing Fat-IBC systems for biomedical and wearable applications.

With the rapid development of additive manufacturing (AM) technology, 3D printing has been widely used in industries such as industry, medicine, and aerospace. However, due to the complex manufacturing process and material uncertainty, defects are prone to occur during 3D printing, which in turn affects product quality. In recent years, the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has provided new solutions for defect detection and process control of 3D printing mechanical systems. This paper focuses on the research progress of 3D printing defect detection and process control based on artificial intelligence, and analyzes related technologies, challenges, and future development directions.

In the short distance communication scenario, the stable and efficient operation of routing equipment is very important, but there is no method to achieve high fault identification accuracy. In this paper, a fault diagnosis scheme for routing equipment based on machine learning in short distance communication scenarios is proposed. A generative adversarial network based on quantum state optimization is adopted for data augmentation, a neural network based on locally sensitive honeypot optimization algorithm is adopted to effectively identify and extract key features, and an improved autoencoder is adopted for feature dimension reduction. The classification performance is optimized by support vector machine based on covariate matrix. The experimental results show that this scheme can achieve a high accuracy of fault identification of routing equipment, and has greater deployment and promotion value.
