Server Resource limitations are generally an obstacle affecting the quality of service (QoS) due to increased traffic levels. Therefore, Load Balancing is needed to manage service requests to the optimal application server. software-Defined Network (SDN) has advantages in controlling the network which can be exploited with various load balancing strategies that are used to distribute traffic loads to improve overall system performance. The Performance for load balancing can be improved by selecting the server with minimum load using the Fuzzy Logic Algorithm. Traditional load balancing lacked the usage of device state data. In this study, an SDN-based Server Load Balancing method using fuzzy logic methods has been performed. Fuzzy Algorithm successfully delivers HTTP requests to lowest load server based on Distribution Server Index. In the testing, the server load must be directed at the lowest server weight so that each server should not be overloaded. In testing with a request load ranging from 100 - 500, the Fuzzy algorithm imposes more traffic distribution on the 3rd Server with the lowest server load. In the CPU usage test, the fuzzy logic algorithm has the lowest average value namely 39%. In the RAM usage test, the fuzzy logic algorithm has the lowest average value namely 54%. In the throughput test, the fuzzy logic algorithm has the highest average value namely 2KBps. The Fairness Index of Fuzzy Logic is 0.45 while Round Robin's fairness index is 0.99. Round Robin Algorithm can outperform other algorithms in terms of Fairness Index, as the fairest algorithm.

Internet of Things (IoT) is an uprising technology. It involves in smart city, smart grid, smart home implementation where it connects all the object with each other to transfer the data and take decision according to the environment. The Internet of Things handle with large amount of data. According to a survey per day in the world 2.5 quintillion bytes of data is produced. Data is a wealth in today's world where upcoming wars between the nations will be cyberwar. Enormous amount of data is producing in the world by IoT and other application. Data Hacking is major menace in IoT application. The encryption technique is one of the cryptographic practices which is used to eliminate the data hacking. The proposed work focusses on implementation of Full parallelism Triple Advanced Encryption Standard to encrypt the data from the end device in IoT application to provide data security. The encrypted data is difficult to decrypted without knowing the appropriate key in proper order. It makes the cryptanalysis difficult in terms provides more security to the IoT data. The full parallelism technique supports parallel processing of data in the encryption process reduce the encryption and decryption time. The Triple AES with Full parallelism renders high security than existing AES technique which is used to provide high security to the data transmitted from the IoT gateway to the servers and the data stored in the database as an encrypted format to eliminate data hacking in smart city implementations. The software implementation of the proposed algorithm is carried out in XILINX 18.1 software and the results are discussed.

Distance relays should not sense power swing as a fault to further create an unwanted circuit breaker tripping. Wavelet transform is a powerful signal processing tool used by many researchers for detection of faults during power swing condition and unblock power swing blocking function in case of fault during power swing. Due to the natural characteristic of WT, its performance is mostly depending on the selection of proper mother wavelet function as it ensures the optimum performance in processing any signal. This paper proposes different wavelet types namely: Battle Lemarie Spline (Piecewise Linear Spline), Beylkin, Daubechies and Symlet for detection of faults during power swing by extracting voltage and current signals. Suitability of each type is commented at the end for cases under study. The proposed algorithm is implemented on a typical parallel transmission line network using MATLAB software.

The algorithm of intelligent flow routing control in optical transport networks with the use of graph neural networks is presented in the work. The use of graph neural networks to solve telecommunications problems is due to the fact that the input parameters for training are the characteristics of the network itself. That is, the matrix of adjacencies, characteristics of nodes and edges at a certain point in time are the input parameters for training graph neural networks. Based on these data, you can predict the state in which the node is. This approach allows a more flexible approach to the process of determining the state of the node because it does not require rewriting the software but only administratively changing the parameters of the neural network. The proposed algorithm allowed to reduce the delay during peak hours of the network by 18%.

There is a need to accurately simulate materials with complex electromagnetic properties when modelling Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), as many objects encountered with GPR contain water, e.g. soils, curing concrete, and water-filled pipes. One of widely-used open-source software that simulates electromagnetic wave propagation is gprMax. It uses Yee’s algorithm to solve Maxwell’s equations with the Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) method. A significant drawback of the FDTD method is the limited ability to model materials with dispersive properties, currently narrowed to specific set of relaxation mechanisms, namely multi-Debye, Drude and Lorentz media. Consequently, modelling any arbitrary complex material should be done by approximating it as a combination of these functions. This paper describes work carried out as part of the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) programme 2021 to develop a new module within gprMax that can be used to simulate complex dispersive materials using multi-Debye expansions in an automatic manner. The module is capable of modelling Havriliak-Negami, Cole-Cole, Cole-Davidson, Jonscher, Complex-Refractive Index Models, and indeed any arbitrary dispersive material with real and imaginary permittivity specified by the user.

The article presents the structure of the developed quadrocopter, which consists of several modules. This structure allows quickly replacing a broken module or upgrading it separately. Universal software was developed to make this structure applicable to other types of transport. Considered are the issues of building an autopilot for the developed quadcopter and providing a human-machine interface that allows to form a flight task and track the progress of its fulfillment.

Aiming at the problem of poor reliability and time certainty of microgrid offline simulation, combined with the characteristics of fast and time certainty of Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), the digital-analog hybrid real-time simulation platform of DC microgrid fault detection system based on FPGA was studied. The platform is composed of FPGA real-time digital simulation system, photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage control system, microgrid energy management system that can plan system operation modes and detect faults. The multi-step decomposition method is used to realize the reasonable distribution of computing power. In this platform, the hardware is composed of NI-PXIe-8840 real-time controller, PXIe-7868R FPGA, PXI-8512CAN and upper computer, and the software is included Simulink simulation software, Veristand experiment management software and Opal-RT toolkit, which can verify and study key technologies such as fault detection algorithm and energy management strategy of DC microgrid.

3GPP has proposed implement Control Plane (CP) block functions now implemented as a software entity, when some of these functions go for an upgrade, it requires to purge all the connections. This leads to reattach procedure for all the User Equipments (UEs) that are attached to updating CP and hence UE power consumption and spectrum wastage. In this paper, we propose to exploit the nature of services, such as Guaranteed Bit Rate (GBR) and Best Effort (BE), to select the CP in the case of CP software upgrades. We also propose an algorithm to exploit the delay-tolerant nature of the BE services to save the power consumption and time to reestablish the connection during CP software upgrade. To achieve this, we propose to save the UE's context, exploiting BE services, in the CP, and use it once CP is upgraded. To maintain the timed recovery of such UEs, we have also introduced a stale timer, which is maintained between CP, UP, and UE. When the stale timer expires, the UE will be attached to another available CP. With extensive simulation, we have demonstrated that there exists an optimal timer value to obtain the best results. We have observed that the proposed method provides better results at the optimal stale timer value than that the method to reestablish the connection.

In this paper, we present efficient hardware structure of Gauss-Jordan Elimination Through Pivoting (GJETP) based error correcting code classification algorithm, in order to provide real-time solution for code recognition in non-cooperative context. We originality proposed to modify the architecture of traditional GJETP by using two type of processing units in the paper. Compared to normally used hardware architecture, the proposed hardware architecture based elimination algorithm significantly unleashes the working frequency and tightens the power consumption to a great deal. Further results illustrates that there are obvious acceleration using the proposed approach than software based method with the acceleration rate over 100 times.

India has a high prevalence of Diabetes Mellitus and the numbers are increasing day by day at an alarming rate. According to Diabetes Care report prediction of Diabetes will be doubled globally from 2000 to 2030 with a maximum rate in India. It is reported that by 2030 diabetes mellitus may afflict up to 79.4 million people in India. Indians are becoming more prone to diabetes because of unhealthy living style and diet, also due to rapid migration to metropolitan cities for employment. In today's generation, it is required to take a proper management and right decision according to our current lifestyle. Generally, it is seen the health experts are most of the time hesitate to diagnose a Diabetic patient because Diabetes is a chronically disease, it depends on various kind of imprecise lifestyle factors. Interval-valued Hesitant fuzzy set(IVHFS) is the best mathematical tool for management and taking the right decisions for such kind of imprecise data. In this study, we have developed a ranking system based on QUALIFLEX (i.e., QUALItative FLEXible) by using IVHFS and as a case study, this ranking system is applied on Diabetic Patients according to their various imprecise category which is collected from our near health center. The output result is verified by the various medical experts in this field. This system is useful for developing a software which will be helpful for the rural areas patients where till now have not proper medical facilities.
