In order to improve the resolution and the measurement accuracy of optical fiber sensor based on Fabry-Perot (FP) interference, the demodulation algorithm for the FP interference spectrum is analyzed in this paper. Signal demodulation algorithm directly affects the performance of the FP sensor, such as resolution and measurement accuracy. Combined with the basic structure of the sensor, a high-resolution vernier demodulation algorithm is studied based on fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm and minimum mean square error algorithm, which has a resolution of 0.084nm according to the experimental results. Then, the demodulation algorithm is applied to the FP interference optical fiber pressure sensor with stainless steel diaphragm. The test results show that the performance is good in the range of 0-1MPa with the resolution of 2.10×10^-4MPa and correlation coefficient of 0.99989.

Fuzzing is a technique that aims to detect vulnerabilities or exceptions through unexpected input and has found tremendous recent interest in both academia and industry. Although these fuzzing methods have great advantages in the field of vulnerability detection, they also have their own disadvantages in the face of different target programs. It is obviously impractical for a fuzzing test method to adapt to all the target programs. Therefore, we study how to select the appropriate fuzzing methods for different target programs. Specifically, we first analyze the program, and then extract the feature vectors of the target program to get the information of the program, such as syntax, context and so on. Next, we build a matching model to match the similarity of target program and the fuzzing algorithm to select the fuzzing algorithm with higher matching degree. Through our matching model, we get a more suitable fuzzing algorithm to improve the detection efficiency, precision, recall, F-measure, and other statistical measures.

This paper shows that thermal characterization of automotive power module using the thermal transient measurement method, simulation, calibration with SHERPA (Systematic Hybrid Exploration that is Robust, Progressive and Adaptive). The thermal model calibration tasks using transient thermal measurement for even more accurate thermal simulations and improve the reliability of components. We also demonstrated the thermal model calibration using SHERAPA algorithm within the HEEDS software. SHERPA is an efficient and robust optimization and search algorithm by combining several different search methods simultaneously, adapting and refining them as the search progresses. The efficiency and robustness of SHERPA on HEEDS optimization and Simcenter Flotherm deign of experiment were investigated on the thermal calibration model of automotive power module.

The proposed paper focuses on a hybrid cryptographic algorithm that aims to provide integrity & confidentiality to our sensitive data. With the use of cryptographic algorithms and a blended key exchange algorithm along with an authentication technique, verification of data can be protected while uploading it to any cloud platform. The cloud computing boom is ultimately on the pinnacle because of the pandemic that forces corporations to operate virtually and people to stay indoors for their work from home. Cloud computing offers advantages like on-demand services, shared hardware and software, but also involves storing data at unknown place. So they are sometimes susceptible to leaks of data or other malicious internet attacks, making it a serious worry for enterprises all over the world. The objective of this paper is to explore the different algorithms utilised for security, performance and finally to identify the most adequate and efficient combination. The emphasis is on finding the practical consequences of the presented results and not merely on theoretical principles.

In this study, a new image encryption and decoding algorithm is developed using fractional fourier transform, lorenz attractor and masking. In the proposed algorithm, firstly, the image is masked with a randomly generated mask and fractional fourier transform is applied to the masked image. These two processes were applied 3 times in a row, making the image more complex. The resulting image was then decomposed into 256 parts. 16 chaotic outputs were obtained from lorenz attractor. These outputs are calculated in base 256. The parts with the same index number as the output were selected and mixed among themselves. The scrambled image parts are combined and the encryption process is completed. The degree of the function applied in the algorithm is a rational number. The use of lorenz attractor provides chaotic outputs. These 2 features make the algorithm resistant to attacks. The use of a chaotic set of differential equations is reduced the probability of finding the scrambled method by an analytical approach and the linear predictability of the method for attacks on the scrambled image. The analysis of chaotically generated random numbers was made and produced successful results. The algorithm is confidential and usable against most common attacks such as brute force. The data contained in the key is encrypted using the RSA algorithm.

Many concurrency bugs are hidden deeply behind thread interleaving and are hard to detect. Existing dynamic predictive checkers can analyze execution traces to expose predictive cases of data races and deadlocks hidden by the thread interleavings of execution traces and inferable from these inter-leavings. To the best of our knowledge, however, no existing work for the detection of atomicity violation at the transaction level (AV) can expose predictive atomicity violations. In this paper, we present the first work to address this problem. Our technique, Meteor, formulates a novel algorithm with a thread-centric pipeline to capture enumerable dependency sequences containing reversible dependencies incrementally, implicitly, and soundly. It detects predictive atomicity violations without producing false positives. We prove its soundness by theorems. We have evaluated Meteor on 19 subjects, which confirms the soundness and effectiveness of Meteor to detect predictive atomicity violations in the programs.

We develop and commercialize autonomous machines, such as logistic robots and self-driving cars, around the globe. A critical challenge to our-and any-autonomous machine is accurate and efficient localization under resource constraints, which has fueled specialized localization accelerators recently. Prior acceleration efforts are point solutions in that they each specialize for a specific localization algorithm. In real-world commercial deployments, however, autonomous machines routinely operate under different environments and no single localization algorithm fits all the environments. Simply stacking together point solutions not only leads to cost and power budget overrun, but also results in an overly complicated software *** paper demonstrates our new software-hardware co-designed framework for autonomous machine localization, which adapts to different operating scenarios by fusing fundamental algorithmic primitives. Through characterizing the software framework, we identify ideal acceleration candidates that contribute significantly to the end-to-end latency and/or latency variation. We show how to co-design a hardware accelerator to systematically exploit the parallelisms, locality, and common building blocks inherent in the localization framework. We build, deploy, and evaluate an FPGA prototype on our next-generation self-driving cars. To demonstrate the flexibility of our framework, we also instantiate another FPGA prototype targeting drones, which represent mobile autonomous machines. We achieve about 2× times speedup and 4× energy reduction compared to widely-deployed, optimized implementations on general-purpose platforms.

Deep Neural Networks (DNN) are increasingly being deployed in safety-critical domains, from autonomous vehicles to medical devices, where the consequences of errors demand techniques that can provide stronger guarantees about behavior than just high test accuracy. This paper explores broadening the application of existing adversarial attack techniques for the falsification of DNN safety properties. We contend and later show that such attacks provide a powerful repertoire of scalable algorithms for property falsification. To enable the broad application of falsification, we introduce a semantics-preserving reduction of multiple safety property types, which subsume prior work, into a set of equivalid correctness problems amenable to adversarial attacks. We evaluate our reduction approach as an enabler of falsification on a range of DNN correctness problems and show its cost-effectiveness and scalability.

In recent years, the amount of electric and electronic components in the automotive power network (APN) has increased significantly. With regard to autonomous driving, telecommunication, infotainment, and other comfort functionalities, a further growing complexity in the APN is emerging. Additionally, the still requested customization of cars leads to more variants, models, and decoupled development cycles in terms of software and hardware. To ensure a flexible APN design, this paper demonstrates a modular approach for the power management combining auction theory and service-oriented architecture (SOA) for APNs with multiple voltage levels. The presented algorithm facilitates distributed decision-making by the growing number of components in the network regarding their power consumption. Hence, the individual components adapt their behavior in terms of component states and the APN condition. Furthermore, the SOA paradigm ensures the scalability and fault tolerance of the proposed algorithm.

The PCR gene amplification instrument can replicate the gene sequence of the virus, and it can be used in the clinical medical and biology research of the virus. A new portable array PCR amplifier was designed to meet the shortcomings of large demand, large size and single amplification type in China. First, the hardware part of the system takes MSP430 single-chip computer as the main controller, it mainly contains modules such as temperature measuring, variable temperature, reaction tank, human-computer interaction and so on. Second, the designed reaction tank is arranged in a $4 \times 2$ array, enabling independent amplification of up to eight types of target DNA fragments. Then, the software part adopts modular design idea and fuzzy PID algorithm as the temperature control algorithm of the system, which can realize accurate temperature control of the reaction tank. The temperature of the designed system can be controlled between $20^{\circ}\mathrm{C}- 100^{\circ}\mathrm{C}$. Finally, the designed portable array PCR amplification instrument is tested. The experimental results show that the system can amplify many target DNA fragments with a temperature accuracy of about $0.3^{\circ}\mathrm{C}$, and the warming and cooling rates are approximately $2^{\circ}\mathrm{C} /$s. The system has small volume, light weight and easy to carry, and has a good prospect in application.
