The C++ language continually evolves through formal specifications established by its standards committee, proposing new features to maintain $\mathrm{C}++$ as a relevant programming language while improving usability, performance, and portability across platforms. With the addition of parallel Standard Template Library (STL) algorithms in C++17, programmers can now leverage parallel processing capabilities via vendor-neutral parallel execution policies. This study presents an adaptation of the NAS Parallel Benchmarks (NPB)—a well-established suite of applications for evaluating parallel architectures-by porting its sequential C-style code to use C++ STL abstractions and performance-portable parallelism features. Our goals are to (1) assess the suitability of C++ STL for scientific applications like the ones in the NPB and (2) provide a comparative performance and portability of STL algorithms’ parallel execution policies across different multicore architectures (x86 and AArch64). Results indicate that the performance of parallel STL algorithms is often close to that of optimized handwritten versions (OpenMP, Intel TBB, and FastFlow) on different architectures, with notable shortfalls. Across all NPB benchmarks, the STL algorithms’ geometric mean shows sequential execution times that are between 3.76% and $\mathrm{6. 9 \%}$ higher, while parallel executions may reach a geometric mean of up to $\mathrm{2 1. 2 1 \%}$ higher execution time.

This paper presents a developed algorithm for calculating the capacitive and inductive matrices of Partial Element Equivalent Circuit models, applicable to both twodimensional and three-dimensional geometric structures. The algorithm was validated using geometric models of transistor package mounting pads and two- and 8 -wire transmission lines. The results obtained with the proposed algorithm were compared with those calculated in *** and ANSYS simulation tools. Maximum discrepancies of 5.6 % and 14.7 % were observed for the diagonal and off-diagonal elements of the capacitance matrix calculated for the SOT-23-3 transistor case mounting pad model, respectively. For the transmission lines, the maximum deviations were 1.0 % and 0.2 % for the diagonal and off-diagonal elements of the inductance matrix, respectively. The developed algorithm can be used to analyze interconnects during the design of printed circuit boards, achieving acceptable accuracy in the calculation of capacitive and inductive matrices.

Grey-box fuzzing has emerged as the predominant automated testing technique for software security. For target programs with complex input structures and semantic constraints, the guidance of semantic validity enables efficient exploration of semantic input space. However, existing validity-guided grey-box fuzzers exhibit insufficient research on strategies of searching the semantic input space, particularly neglecting the importance of seed scheduling. This paper proposes an adaptive seed ranking mechanism to facilitate validity-guided grey-box fuzzing. We first design a novel metric to quantify the outlier degree of pending seeds, which affects the mutation intensity as well. Then, we update the distance metrics and prioritize the seeds adaptively to reduce additional overhead. Experiments results across multiple real-world Java programs demonstrate that our approach can make improvements on top of the state-of-the-art fuzzer regarding the valid branch coverage and uncovered crashes.

This paper presents a multi-axis sine-on-random (SoR) vibration test system designed for spacecraft micro-vibration disturbance source simulation. The system design comprises three subsystems: exciter assembly, control system, and data acquisition/transmission system. The shaker assembly integrates test articles, interface tooling, inertial exciters, and force measurement plates. An innovative inertial exciter with dual mounting configurations (bolted and bonded) was developed to enable real-time inertial force monitoring. The LabVIEW-based control system implements pre-test diagnostics, transfer function analysis, and multi-dimensional force closed-loop control. Data acquisition employs domestically developed PXIe hardware including controller modules, I/O modules, and portable chassis. A numerical control simulation case was demonstrated using ANSYS software. Experimental validation confirmed the system's capability in micro-vibration disturbance replication.

The article discusses two tasks of information systems for monitoring the parameters of technological processes in metalworking creating. In the first task, the width and sickle shape of metal sheets are estimated based on information received from laser rangefinders. The task is solved automatically when the flow of metal sheets moves along the roller. The second task is to determine with high accuracy the coordinates of the edge edges of the bent metal sheet in the production of pipes of various diameters. Both tasks are solved automatically using laser rangefinders (profilometers) and original mathematical software. Solving these tasks allows automated quality control of rolled metal products performing and reducing the time spent on the final product. Using of laser profilometers as primary information sources makes it possible to ensure the accuracy required for technological processes. The design of the algorithms assumes low computational complexity, ensuring compliance with time constraints.

As an important branch in the field of computer vision, object detection plays an increasingly important role in fields such as autonomous driving, security monitoring, and medical image analysis. YOLOv7, as one of the current advanced object detection models, has received extensive attention due to its characteristics of high efficiency and accuracy. However, when YOLOv7 is adapted to the MindSpore framework, there are performance bottlenecks. Aiming at the real-time object detection requirements of edge devices, this paper proposes an improved YOLOv7 model based on the MindSpore framework. By staticizing the shape of dynamic tensors, reconstructing the backbone network with Depthwise Separable Convolution, and fusing the hybrid attention mechanism, the inference efficiency of the model on the Ascend chip is optimized. Experiments show that the mAP@0.5 of the improved model on the COCO dataset is increased by 3.2%, the inference speed reaches 142 FPS (an increase of 23% compared with the original model), and the number of parameters is reduced by 28%. This research contributes to the development of efficient object detection within the MindSpore ecosystem.

Recently, Photovoltaic (PV) devices generate electricity directly from sunlight, so their integration into urban infrastructure will not only generate energy but also reduce carbon emissions. Due to those advantages, solar energy plays a crucial role in developing smart cities. However, the efficiency of PV systems is heavily dependent on their ability to operate at the Maximum Power Point (MPP), which represents the bias potential at which the solar cell outputs the maximum net power. This paper employs an intelligent optimization algorithm, RAT Swarm, to find the optimal voltage the PV system can operate to produce maximum power. MATLAB software is used to model and simulate the system using the Rate Swarm algorithm. The simulation results show that the RAT based MPPT has been capable of achieving the capability to precisely track the maximum power point and to maximize the power output of the PV system. Furthermore, the same software is employed to implement and simulate the well-known particle swarm optimization algorithm for comparison. Convergence speed, trading accuracy as well as the stability of power, voltage and current under both uniform and time varying irradiance conditions are also considered in the comparison. Comparative evaluation indicates that RSO is a viable option for PSO owing to faster convergence. Nevertheless, the stability of RSO and the absence of an oscillation in the power output have to be investigated. These improvements would enable RSO to become optimally effective, achieving fast convergence and stable output power for energy capture from PV systems.

The study examined the issue of applying artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to job search processes in employment systems. Based on the literature analysis, the main concepts of using AI in human resource management were presented. It was found that in recruitment, there is a relationship between AI replicating human cognitive processes and imitating human learning mechanisms. As a result, 3 main skills for mastering and using AI were presented. The general algorithm and description of the application of AI technologies to the labor market were presented, and the algorithms and methods of the Bat algorithm, the Gaussian distribution approach used in its implementation were studied. A method was proposed in which the optimization process was improved by adding an approach based on the Gaussian distribution to the Bat algorithm. This provides effective training data for vector machines and has been proven to give good results in predicting labor force employment.

Malware attacks have always been regarded as a concern, but today, we should be far more worried about them gaining ground, especially on enterprise networks. Although signature-based techniques have witnessed much success in identifying malware, they can only partially encompass these changing threats. This calls for novel malware detection techniques to identify and neutralize such attacks accurately. In the study, we present a behavior-oriented AI-based malware detection system to identify and prevent malware attacks in enterprise networks. We use artificial intelligence algorithms that analyze the actions of network traffic, applications and devices to identify and classify malicious activity. Large datasets of previous malware behaviors are used to train the AI algorithms to determine new threats, even if the malware has never been seen before. In addition, it can also learn and update the algorithm completely by discovering the latest malware behavior. Our behavior-based detection allows our system to see zero-day attacks and malware variants that standard signature-based detection systems have not seen yet. This significantly improves the security of enterprise networks while minimizing data breaches and financial losses. Our behavior-based malware detection system provides a tailored protection capability against the emerging threat landscape to secure enterprise networks, which is a delegated preventive plan against emergent threats instead of reactive measures. It harnesses the power of AI and adapts to new data to offer a comprehensive layer of protection against malware.

The emergence of quantum annealers has catalyzed the development of quantum optimization algorithms across various fields. The formulation of a quadratic unconstrained binary optimization (QUBO) model for quantum linear systems suggests that quantum optimization algorithms can play an important role in science and engineering. Recently, a QUBO model was developed by applying a quantum linear system to computed tomography (CT) image reconstruction to clearly show the internal structure of the sample. To date, ultra-clear CT images have not been reconstructed using quantum optimization algorithms owing to limitations in logical qubits. However, the quantum CT image reconstruction algorithm using a quantum linear system provides confidence in the accuracy of the CT image by leveraging the difference between the global and theoretical minimum energies. In this paper, we propose an algorithm that can use two or more QUBO models for CT image reconstruction. The proposed algorithm formulates several QUBO models from CT image reconstruction and verifies them using the hybrid solver of the D-Wave system. The proposed algorithm suggests that quantum-optimized CT algorithms can make greater progress in the future.
