To model vibrations in flexible structures, a variational formulation of PDE control problems is considered in the frame of the method of integro-differential relations. This approach allows to estimate a posteriori the quality of finite-dimensional approximations and, as a result, either to refine or coarsen them if necessary. Such estimates also make it possible to correct the input signals. The related control law is regularized via a quadratic cost functional including the discrepancy of the constitutive equations. Procedures for solving optimization problems in dynamics of linear elasticity have been developed based on the Ritz method and FEM. The verification of optimized control for elastic rod motion involves the local and integral error estimates proposed. A FEM solver for mechanical systems with varying distributedparameters and linear boundary conditions of different kinds is presented.

The article describes the device and the principle of operation of the steam generator on the example of the reactor core RBMK-1000 (High Power Channel Reactor). The description of the equipment included in the multiple forced circulation circuits forming the reactor is presented. The process of controlling the flow of coolant in the technological channel of the reactor using shut-off and control valves is considered in detail and the need for automation of this process is substantiated. The problem of synthesis of the automatic control system of shut-off and control valves is formulated and solved. The possibility of using the apparatus of extended frequency characteristics for the frequency analysis of systems with distributed parameters is considered. The problem is formulated and solved to develop a methodology for calculating the settings of a distributed PID controller. Software has been developed for modeling thermal fields in the reactor core.

The paper deals with the predictive control applied to flexible cogeneration energy system (FES). The FES was designed and developed by the VITKOVICE POWER ENGINEERING joint-stock company and represents a new solution of decentralized cogeneration energy sources. In FES, the heating medium is flue gas generated by combustion of a solid fuel. The heated medium is power gas, which is a gas mixture of air and water steam. Power gas is superheated in the main heat exchanger and led to gas turbines. To protect the main heat exchanger against damage by overheating, the novel predictive protective control based on the mathematical model of exchanger was developed. The paper describes the principle, the design and simulation of the predictive protective method applied to main heat exchanger of FES. This paper deals with the control of the output power gas temperature at the Main Heat Exchanger (MHE). The MHE is the basic part of the Flexible Energy cogeneration System (FES) with the combined Brayton - Rankine cycle, which is designed and constructed at Vitkovice Power Engineering JSC. The FES burns solid fuel and generates electrical energy and thermal energy. The standard temperature control at MHE has two goals. The first control task is the protection of the heat transfer surfaces of the MHE against overheating. The second control task is the stabilization of the temperature of power gas at the output of the MHE which is performed, in principle, by the change of the flow rate of air generated by the compressor and by the change of the flow rate of fuel at the inlet of the FES combustion chamber. In this paper, the control of the temperature of the power gas without the overheating of the heat transfer surfaces of the MHE will be described and analyzed.

It consists in constructing an algorithm for finding a feedback control which enables one to track a solution of the given equation with an unknown right-hand side. For this problem we propose two noise-resistant solution algorithms based on the method of extremal shift. The first algorithm is applicable in the case of continuous measurements of phase states, whereas the second one presumes discrete measurements.
