A large number of high-power single-phase electric heating loads, represented by air conditioners entering into domestic consumption is easy to cause asymmetric distribution of three-phase loads in three-phase four-wire power supply system. It is difficult to popularize traditional post-treatment methods for three-phase unbalance problems because of their complicated control algorithm, lack of algorithm stability, and high cost of manufacturing or land occupation. In this paper, a three-phase unbalance allocation strategy is proposed, which combines hierarchical clustering method with traversal algorithm to divide users' air conditioners into three phases and reduce three-phase unbalance in the power grid, to reduce the difficulty of post-treatment of the three-phase unbalance problem. The allocation strategy for 50 air conditioner users is simulated and its effectiveness is given by comparison result.

Digital elevation model (DEM) is used as a source of elevation data in wide range of applications. The applications involving larger area than an individual DEM scene often need a mosaic of DEM scenes. A simple stitching exhibits seams along the borders of DEM scenes in the mosaic output. The presence of seam lines varies with the number of scenes in an overlapping region and their overlap extents. The conventional feathering-based blend method, by virtue of the method itself, considers only two input scenes in an instance of the mosaic process. This method requires a suitable ordering of the input DEM scenes, especially in the overlapping regions containing more than two scenes. In this paper, we propose a framework that automatically handles the multiple overlapping regions and creates a seamless mosaic of Cartosat-1 DEM scenes for a given region of interest. We use a tree data structure to arrange input DEM scenes hierarchically based on their metadata. A traversal algorithm is devised to establish an order of precedence among the DEM scenes. This determines a unique input sequence of DEM scenes during mosaic process. In addition, two variants of feathering-based blend method are formulated to handle all possible cases of the overlapping regions. The experiments have been conducted on Cartosat-1 DEM scenes over 1 degrees x 1 degrees region of interest. We analyze and compare our proposed methodology with average method and feathering-based blend method. We demonstrate that our framework exhibits a smooth transition of elevation values in the overlapping regions of the DEM mosaic output.

The utilization of tempered blast-furnace slag through the direct fiber forming process to produce high-value thermal insulation materials offers a dual benefit: it efficiently utilizes the latent heat in the unused slag and significantly increases the value of blast-furnace slag utilization. However, measuring the melting properties of iron slag at high temperatures is challenging. In this study, the melting behavior of SiO2 in a high-temperature molten pool was investigated. We employ dynamic visual data (video stream) captured via a non-contact charge coupled device video recording system to extract SiO2 contours through image processing. The change in image centroid characteristics is used to establish a convolution function relationship, and MATLAB's traversal search algorithm determines the centroid position of SiO2. Given that SiO2 is proportionate to crucible pixels, the area of the SiO2 is calculated through pixel statistics within these contours. A new indirect method is then proposed to process image information to obtain SiO2 volume and mass at different time points. An exponential fitting yields the melting rate function of SiO2. Finally, this indirect method has been compared with shape from shading, quantitative characterization, and dimensional analysis techniques. Besides, the strengths and limitations of each method have been discussed. Our findings reveal that the indirect solution method presented here boasts straightforward calculation steps and imposes minimal image format requirements, which provides theoretical and technical support for the direct fiber forming process of blast-furnace slag.

Programmable photonic integrated waveguide mesh (PPIWM), which is similar to the field-programmable gate array (FPGA) in electronics, can be reconfigured to form a variety of mesh topologies to provide different signal processing functions flexibly. With the development of large-scale PPIWM, multipath routing is becoming more and more complex. Automatic and efficient calculation of the transmission characteristics between arbitrary input and output ports is very essential to realize the simulation and theoretical analysis task for the PPIWMs. In this paper, a simple and effective calculation method for the transmission characteristics of PPIWMs with any scale is proposed. Compared with the available technologies, this method can greatly reduce the time of solving the total scattering matrix in the large-scale PPIWM and has the advantage of easy programming. Typical simulation examples are given to verify the effectiveness of this method. The generality and high efficiency of this method can help us analyze increasingly large and complex reconfigurable photonic circuits with a wide variety of functions.

The study to rule reasoning of incomplete information system is rare in rough set theory, and an incomplete information system still has the missing data after attribute reduction. Based on this situation, knowledge category and value core are redefined to the incomplete information system under the reflexive binary relation, and a traversal algorithm is proposed to find most effective rules. Comparison the rule reasoning of equivalent relation and that of tolerance relation in the process of empirical analysis, the research shows that different reflexive binary relation leads to different rules for the same incomplete information system, which provides a new theoretical basis for rule reasoning of rough set theory.

With the development of economy, energy and environment problems have become a big problem in today's society. To realize sustainable development and protect ecological environment has become the consensus of all countries in the world. Wave energy, as an important Marine renewable resource, is more widely distributed than conventional energy, with abundant energy storage and considerable application value. In this paper, based on the analysis of the heave and pitch motion of the wave energy device in seawater, the motion states of the float and vibrator from static to heave and pitch motion are obtained through the force analysis of the float and vibrator and the establishment of differential equations. The maximum output power of the wave energy device is analyzed and discussed by adjusting the damping coefficient of the damper and other related parameters.
