Compliant mechanisms (CMs) are well-known and widely applied across various disciplines due to their advantages, such as compact design, simplicity in manufacturing and precision. This study proposes a modern design of a 1-dOF vibration-assisteddisplacement using semi-circular elastic hinges, leaf springs, and utilizing the vibration of a piezo actuator amplified by lever mechanism for the 3d-printing application. In addition to maximizing the natural frequencies and the amplification ratio at the output, minimizing the parasitic motion was considered. The mechanism's geometric design was calculated employing finite element analysis (FEA) and an evolutionary algorithm optimization approach.
