Diyarbakir is a city that its history goes down 7000 *** are many historical buildings in the traditional urban texture surrounded by walls. The Grand Mosque is one of these valuable *** important restoration work was carried out in the Grand Mosque between 2010 and 2017. In these works, some excavations were made to obtain some research and information. New information about mosque and city history was learned from these excavations. This study aims to present the findings and their contributions to the restoration work and to evaluate them from an archaeological perspective while explaining the reasons for the excavations carried out in the Eastern Maksurah with the Hanafis Section in the scope of the comprehensive restoration work carried out between 2010 and 2017. At the same time, it is also aimed to emphasize the necessity and significance of research excavations in restoration applications.

The stress and displacement continuity conditions for interfaces between two different anisotropic media were formulated in terms of the Airy stress functions of the media. It was shown that such formulation greatly facilitates the solution of the problems of composite anisotropic materials by the Airy stress function approach. Pramlintide (Symlin (R)), a synthetic analogue of the neuroendocrine hormone amylin, is devoid of the tendency to form cytotoxic amyloid fibrils and is currently used in patients with type I and type II diabetes mellitus as an adjunctive therapy with insulin or insulin analogues. As part of an on-going search for a pramlintide analogue with improved pharmacokinetic properties, we herein report the synthesis of mono- and di-glycosylated analogues of pramlintide and their activity at the AMY(1(a)) receptor. Introduction of N-glycosylated amino acids into the pramlintide sequence afforded the native N-linked glycomimetics whilst use of Cu(I)-catalysed azide-alkyne 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition (click) chemistry delivered 1,2,3-triazole linked glycomimetics. AMY(1(a)) receptor activity was retained by incorporation of single or multiple GlcNAc moieties at positions 21 and 35 of native pramlintide. Importantly, no difference in AMY(1(a)) activity was observed between native N-linked glycomimetics and 1,2,3-triazole linked glycomimetics demonstrating that the click variants can act as surrogates for the native N-glycosides in a biological setting.
