The low accuracy of Autonomous Drilling Robot System (ADRS) has precluded their usage in aircraft assembly. Aiming at improving the accuracy of ADRS, three efforts are made in this paper. Firstly, a novel surface normal measurement and attitude adjusting method are proposed to guarantee the perpendicularity of holes. Secondly, an improvement compensation method is made for absolute positioning accuracy of industrial robot by using Gauss-Newton method. Thirdly, during the calibration of tool center point(TCP), which is one of the key technologies of offline programming control system, two balls are used in this method to solve the problem of low accuracy and inefficiency of traditional method using pointed end. Finally, both simulations and experiments are conducted to test the effect of the improvements and the results prove the improvements are effective.

In this paper we propose a novel indoor optical wireless system for personal area networks based on MEMS mirrors and image sensors. The tracking system allows full user mobility and the directed link configuration guarantees high bit rates and energy efficiency due to the narrow beams. We make a simple simulation to analyze the bit error rate in dependence on the received power and beam spot size.

In time series analysis, the ability to effectively handle data with varying input lengths and missing data is crucial for accurate modeling. This paper presents the Bag-of-Functions-Driven Imputation framework, which leverages sequence-length independent techniques to decompose time series data while accommodating inputs of differing sizes. Unlike traditional methods that require uniform input lengths, the Padding-BoF framework employs a flexible encoding approach, allowing for the integration of variable-length time series and missing elements in the data. Through a series of experiments, we demonstrate that the BoF framework not only ensures precise reconstruction of the original data but also enhances data imputation capabilities by utilizing decomposed components. The results show that this method offers significant advantages in scenarios involving irregular sampling and disparate operational cycles, making it a valuable tool for applications in fields such as finance, healthcare, and industrial monitoring.

Clock-less Wave-Propagated Pipelining is a long-known approach to achieve high-throughput without the overhead of costly sampling registers. However, due to many design challenges, which have only increased with technology scaling, this approach has never been widely accepted and has generally been limited to small and very specific demonstrations. This paper addresses this barrier by presenting WavePro, a generic and scalable algorithm, capable of skew balancing any combinatorial logic netlist for the application of wave-pipelining. The algorithm was implemented in the WavePro Compiler automation utility, which interfaces with industry delays extraction and standard timing analysis tools to produce a sign-off quality result. The utility is demonstrated upon a dot-product accelerator in a 65 nm CMOS technology, using a vendor-provided standard cell library and commercial timing analysis tools. By reducing the worst-case output skew by over 70%, the test case example was able to achieve equivalent throughput of an 8-staged sequentially pipelined implementation with power savings of almost 3×.

We briefly summarize a supposedly efficient novel method for measuring the external plasma response as applied to the inherently unstable reversed-field pinch EXTRAP T2R. The set of parameters estimated with this particular method is then harvested and fed as input to a discrete-time fixed-order fast Fourier transform decoupled multi-input-multi-output controller synthesis. The thus reconfigured feedback system is implemented and experimentally tested on the real plant T2R. A particular and intended behaviour is observed, it seems, from these first- deployment results.
