Automation of the various tasks of the plastic injection mould design process has attracted a lot of attention. Techniques for the automatic selection of parting direction, determination of the complex 3D parting line and the generation of parting surface have been reported. A common strategy in parting surface generation is the method of extrusion. Our investigation reveals that this method fails under certain conditions, which results in intersection between the parting surface patch and the part surface, and inter-locking between the mould halves. To solve these problems, a new method based on the subdivision method of surface generation is proposed. A variation of the Catmull-Clark subdivision scheme is employed which ensures that the resulting surface interpolates the main parting line of the part. The initial control mesh used in the subdivision process is obtained by "projecting" the 2D medial axis of an approximating polygon to 3D. An experimental program has been implemented to verify the feasibility of the method.

Phishing is an e-mail fraud method in which the perpetrator sends out legitimate-looking email in an attempt to gather personal and financial information from any online users. The hackers then steal this personal information for their own purposes, or sell the information to any other criminal parties. There are various techniques to detect phishing websites. However, Classification Data Mining (DM) Techniques can be a very useful tool in detecting and identifying e-banking phishing websites. This paper proposes two algorithms to overcome the difficulty and complexity in detecting and predicting e-banking phishing website . First approach known as Multiclass Classification based on Association Rule (MCAR) based on using association and classification Data Mining algorithms. The algorithms used to characterize and identify all the factors and rules in order to classify the phishing website and the relationship that correlate them with each other. Another approach called Adaptive Boosting (Adaboost) is also a powerful classifier in which final classification is based on vote of weak classifiers. This paper proposes the modification to original MCAR algorithms with redundant rule pruning technique to reduce number of rules generated in final classifier and minimizes redundancy, hence improves the accuracy. In this paper Adaboost classifier is first time applied to detect phishing website. Results are compared with respect to time, accuracy of MCAR and Adaboost. We also analysed MCAR for generated rule to discarded rule with support and confidence values as a result of pruning techniques applied. The experimental result demonstrates the feasibility of using Associative Classification techniques in real applications and its better performance improvement as compared to Adaboost and other classifications algorithms.

Model-Based System engineering (MBSE) promotes Verification and Validation (V&V) as crucial activities to demonstrate, during the system design stage and based on models, that a system meets requirements defined by stakeholders and that it fulfills its intended purpose. Model V&V activities are defined through the following strategies: Model Appraisal, Guided Modelling, Simulation and Formal Proof. Regarding the objectives of each individual strategy, they are considered as complementary, therefore mutually beneficial when combined, for reaching the overall V&V objectives. Various techniques and tools permit nowadays the implementation of each strategy. However, the successful combination and implementation of all four strategies remains still difficult (difference of concepts), time consuming (transformation and dedicated modelling are often requested) and generally expensive. This paper introduces a tool-equipped method for the successful and eased combination and implementation of all four V&V strategies to provide stakeholders with a high level of confidence in decision-making based on models.
