Elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) is based in one of the hardest arithmetic problems, the elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem, making ECC a reliable cryptographic technique. In addition to this advantage, ECC requires shorter keys compared to other public key algorithms, which suggests its use in low-end systems such as smart cards because of its efficiency and limited hardware requirements. Currently the leading smart card technology is Java card. Though both Java 2 standard edition (J2SE) 5.0 and Java card (JC) 2.2.1 include classes and interfaces making ECC available to Java programs, they are not complete, making it necessary to use additional, non-standard packages if the programmer wants to use ECC for different operations (digital signature, data encryption and decryption, etc.). In the present work, we provide a complete review of the state of the art of ECC in J2SE and Java card, with a complete list of operations available in both standard implementations and proprietary packages.

The purpose of this study is to conduct an analysis on practicing DevOps in software development companies in Sri Lanka. DevOps is extended from agile with a mix of patterns intended to improve collaboration between development and operations. The main objective of this research is to identify whether there is a relationship between quality, responsiveness to business needs and agility with implementation of DevOps. Other objectives of this research are to identify barriers Sri Lankan software companies have faced and provide recommendations to overcome those issues. This study was carried out using a deductive approach. Data have been collected from IT professionals in Sri Lanka who had prior experience or knowledge about DevOps. Recommendations are given based on interview feedback, hypotheses output and descriptive statistical analysis. According to results software professionals in Sri Lanka are in a perception that implementation of DevOps has a positive impact on Quality, Responsiveness to Business Needs and Agility to New Technologies. Culture, Automation, Measurement and Sharing are important factors to be considered when implement DevOps in Sri Lanka. As a result of this study it is recommended to implement and practice DevOps in Sri Lankan Software companies.

In order to reduce correlation between multiple antennas and enhance spatial efficiency, novel polarization diversity antennas based on metamaterials are proposed by overlapping two antennas;an electric loop antenna and a magnetic loop antenna. The electrical loop antenna is realized by a resonant wire antenna, while the magnetic loop antenna is realized by an open-ended CRLH TL with a metamaterial concept. Since the current distributions of two antennas are orthogonal each other, each one independently operates with polarization diversity, which leads to minimize correlation. The proposed antennas can produce maximum spatial efficiency by overlapping two antenna elements. In order to place the magnetic loop antenna inside the electric loop antenna, the magnetic loop antenna's size needs to be much smaller than 0.25 lambda x0.25 lambda, and thus spiral slots on the ground plane is used to reduce the size of magnetic loop antenna.
