In this paper, a numerical method is developed for solving one-dimensional hyperbolic system of conservation laws by the Taylor-Galerkin finite element method. The scheme is obtained by solving conservation equations associated HamiltonJacobi equations. The scheme has the TVD-like property under the uniform meshes. Numerical examples are given.

A pressure weighted method is proposed for numerical solution of the momentum equation in 2D Lagrangian hydrodynamic equations with heat conduction over quadrilateral mesh. It is equivalent to the usual circuit integral method when the mesh is regular. However, when the mesh deforms, it has some advantages over the circuit integral method. It is more accurate and can hold back the unphysical distortion of the Lagrange mesh.

Based on the multilevel memory architectural high performance characteristics of the most popular microprocessors, this paper summarized and discussed some key techniques for parallelization and optimization of seven typical applied codes and model physical problems under both message passing MPI and shared memory OpenMP standard parallel programming paradigms. Typical benchmark results under six parallel computers are also given in detail in this paper.
