Bacillus licheniformis (***) is a Gram-positive bacterium that is widely used in agriculture as a probiotic and microbial fertilizer,and in biotechnology industry for production of enzymes,antibiotics,and poly-γ-glutamic acid (γ-PGA).We comprehensively study the genome,transcriptome,biological network,and molecular mechanism of high production of γ-PGA under salt *** complete genome of *** WX-02 comprises a circular chromosome of 4,286,821 base-pairs containing 4,512 protein-coding genes with an average GC content of 46.1%.Based on the transcriptome data,we identified 90 small RNAs,1,169 antisense transcripts and 871 operon structures,and 234 genes were up-regulated and 1,439 genes were down-regulated in salt stress condition.
