This article first explains the necessity of improving data structure course teaching in the era of big data, and then analyzes some shortcomings of current data structure course teaching in adapting to the development of big data. In response to these shortcomings, this article proposes targeted teaching improvement strategies, including innovation in teaching content, innovation in teaching methods, deepening of course cases, and enrichment of big data application cases. The teaching improvement strategies of the data structure course need to conform to the development trend of the big data era so that students can better adapt to the development needs of future society.
