“新工科”建设是国家对高等教育的一项重大战略部署,是新形势下人才培养模式的一次勇敢探索,更是推动我国高等教育改革创新的关键步伐,对促进我国高等教育发展具有重要意义。复合材料与工程专业旨在培养学生在复合材料领域的工程实践能力和创新创业能力,打造高素质复合型人才队伍。实践教学是高等学校整个教学活动中的一个重要环节,在培养学生创新能力和工程实践能力方面发挥着重要作用。文章以河北工程大学复合材料与工程专业为例,从实验教学、专业实习、课程设计、毕业设计(论文)、学科竞赛五个方面分析了当前实践教学环节中存在的主要问题,并给出相应改进措施,建立适合我校复合材料与工程专业的实践教学体系,激发学生的创新创业意识,培养学生的工程实践能力。The construction of “new engineering” is a significant strategic initiative by the nation for higher education. It represents a bold exploration of talent cultivation models under new circumstances and serves as a crucial step in driving the reform and innovation of China’s higher education system. This initiative holds profound importance for advancing the development of higher education in China. The composite materials and engineering major aims to cultivate students’ engineering practice ability and innovation and entrepreneurship ability in the field of composite materials, and build a high-quality composite talent team. Practical teaching is an important part of all teaching activities, and it plays a crucial role in cultivating students’ innovative and practical engineering abilities. This article takes the composite materials and engineering major at Hebei University of Engineering as an example to analyze the main problems in the current practical teaching process from five aspects: experimental teaching, major internship, course design, graduation project and subject competition. The corresponding improvement measures are proposed to stimulate students’ innovation and entrepreneurship awareness and cultivate their engineering practice ability.
