Objective:CD8+ T cell differentiation and response play a vital role in host defense against human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)-***-155 is an important regulator of T cell ***,the profile of miR-155 in HIV-1 infected individuals and the association with CD8+ T cell differentiation are still ***:We performed a cross-sectional study involving 63 HIV-1 infected patients with highly active antiretroviral therapy(HAART),31 HAART naive patients and 35 healthy ***-155 level in CD8+ T cells was detected by quantitative reverse *** of CD8+ T cell differentiation were detected by flow ***:Discord controllers and HAART na(i|¨)ve patients showed higher percentage of effector and effector memory cells,and lower percentage of naive cells(P<0.05).Levels of miR-155 in CD8+ T cells from HIV-1 patients were increased,especially in discord controllers and HAART naive patients(P<0.01).MiR-155 were positively correlated with percentages of effector and effector memory CD8+ T cells,and negatively correlated with percentages of naive and central memory CD8+ T cells(P<0.01).Conclusion:Our findings suggest that miR-155 levels in CD8+ T cells of HIV-1 patients are increased and associated with CD8+ T cell differentiation.
