For every group,a matching group that was pre - treated with 16mg/L 20 - Hydroxyecdysone before EMF exposure was *** results showed that compared with sham exposure group(Omw/cm),the ratio of apoptosis and of exposure groups cells were significantly increased(P<0.01 ),and on condition of intermittent exposure(2h/d,for 6 days),there were significant differences between the two exposure groups( P<0.05),with higher ratio in the 3mw/cm exposure *** exposure groups,in comparison to no-treatment exposure groups,the ratio of apoptosis of pre - treatment exposure groups with 20 - Hydroxyecdysone were obviously decreased(P<0.05).Futhermore,the cloning efficiency and proliferation of NSCs were significantly reduced in exposure groups(P<0.05 ) and these effects of EMFs were significantly alleviated by 20 - Hydroxyecdysone(P<0.05 ).Our results indicated that exposure to 900 MHz EMF may induce the apoptosis of neonatal rat hippocampal neural stem cells in vitro in the power -dependent manner.
