金属碘酸盐由于含有处于不对称配位环境的碘(V)离子可形成丰富奇特的结构,其中不少化合物是潜在的新型倍频材料。本课题组采用水热合成方法得到了一系列新型碘酸盐倍频晶体。将d0过渡金属复合到碘酸盐中得到了BaNbO(IO3)5、NaVO2(IO3)2(H2O)、K(VO)2O2(IO3)3、Tl(VO)2O2(IO3)3和Zn2(VO4)(IO3),它们的倍频系数分别为14 x KDP、20 x KDP、3.6 x KTP、1.2 x KTP和6 x KDP。利用两种孤对电子的复合得到了PbPt(IO3)6(H2O)、Ln3Pb3(IO3)13(μ-O)(Ln=La,Ce,Pr,Nd)。Pb Pt(IO3)6(H2O)的倍频系数为KDP的8倍,而Ln3Pb3(IO3)13(μ-O)(Ln=La,Ce,Pr,Nd)系列中La、Pr、Nd化合物的倍频系数分别为KDP的2.0、1.0和0.8倍。在碘酸盐中引入四方平面配位的Au(III)离子得到六个化合物:α-Na Au(IO3)4,β-Na Au(IO3)4,Rb Au(IO3)4,α-Cs Au(IO3)4,β-CsAu(IO3)4和AgAu(IO3)4,其中极性结构的α-Na Au(IO3)4,Rb Au(IO3)4和α-Cs Au(IO3)4的倍频系数分别是1.2×,1.3×和1.2×KTP。此外我们还得到了两个同分异构的碘酸银:α-AgI3O8(Pnc2)and β-AgI3O8(I-4)。它们均含有三核的I3O8阴离子而且表现出较强的倍频效应(KDP的8-9倍)。
