Generalized Extended tanh-function Method for Traveling Wave Solutions of Nonlinear Physical Equations

In this paper, the generalized extended tanh-function method is used for constructing the traveling wave solutions of nonlinear evolution equations. We choose Fisher＇s equation, the nonlinear schr＆#1.8;odinger equation to illustrate the validity and ad-vantages of the method. Many new and more general traveling wave solutions are obtained. Furthermore, this method can also be applied to other nonlinear equations in physics.

Using proteins in saliva as biomarkers has great advantage in early diagnosis and prognosis evaluation of health conditions or diseases. In this article, we present a computational method for predicting secreted proteins in human saliva. Firstly, we collected currently known saliva-secreted proteins and the representatives that deem to be not extracellular secretion into saliva. Secondly, we pruned the negative data concerned the imbalance condition, and then extracted the relevant features from the physicochemical and sequence properties of all remained proteins. After that, a support vector machine classifier was built which got performance of average sensitivity, specificity, precision, accuracy and Matthews correlation coefficient value to 80.67%, 90.56%, 90.09%, 85.53% and 0.71.8, respectively. These results indicated that the selected features and the model are effective. Finally, a screening test was implemented to all human proteins in UniProt and acquired 581. proteins as predicted saliva-secreted proteins which may be used as biomarker candidates for further salivary diagnosis. © 201. To realize effective and rapid dynamic biometric identification with low computational complexity, a video-based facial texture program that extracts local binary patterns from three orthogonal planes in the frequency domain of the Gabor transform (GLBP-TOP) was proposed. Firstly, each normalized face was transformed by Gabor wavelet to get the enhanced Gabor magnitude map, and then the LBP-TOP operator was applied to the maps to extract video texture. Finally, weighted Chi square statistics based on the Fisher Criterion were used to realize the identification. The proposed algorithm was proved effective through the biometric experiments using the Honda/UCSD database, and was robust against changes of illumination and expressions. © 201. - IOS Press and the authors.

In this paper, we investigate the multiple attribute decision making (MADM) problems with hesitant interval-valued fuzzy information. Then, we further develop some new Einstein aggregation operators with hesitant interval-valued fuzzy information, such as the induced hesitant interval-valued fuzzy Einstein correlated averaging (I-HIVFECA) operator and induced hesitant interval-valued fuzzy Einstein correlated geometric (I-HIVFECG) operator. Then, we apply the induced hesitant interval-valued fuzzy Einstein correlated averaging (I-HIVFECA) operator and induced hesitant interval-valued fuzzy Einstein correlated geometric (I-HIVFECG) operator to deal with multiple attribute decision making under the hesitant interval-valued fuzzy environments. Finally, an illustrative example for evaluating software quality is given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness. © 201.-IOS Press and the authors. XML documents cluster analysis is a hot research topic. Researchers proposed a number of methods to cluster XML document collections. Boosting is successful well-known methods for improving the quality of clustering. This paper proposed a method named ICBQ which improve the clustering quality by boosting theory. The experiment runs on the both real dataset and synthetic dataset, we choose the Nierman's method, Dalamagas's method and Flesca's method to evaluate the ability of ICBQ. The experimental result shows that our approach is more precise than no boosting methods. © 201. by Binary Information Press.

Hidden Naive Bayes (HNB) has demonstrated remarkable progress in classification accuracy, accurate class probability estimation and ranking. Since HNB is based on one-dependence estimators to get the approximate value of conditional probability, in this paper we try to get more accurate approximations of Bayesian classifier by applying the data dependence theory of relational database. Originally HNB uses a hidden parent of an attribute to represent the influences of all other attributes, while the influence is directed in the Bayesian network. In this paper, we proposed to use the chain rule to estimate the influence among attributes. Compared to HNB, experimental results show that our algorithm has both advantages in classification accuracy and ranking performance which is measured by the area under the ROC curve (AUC). © 201. The cloud platform provides abundant resources and services for users. More and more mobile users began to use the cloud services. They have higher real-time demands on service. The size of traditional virtual machine (VM) operating system is basically large. It will take many resources in deployment and communication process, and always affect the real-time performance of system. To reduce communication overhead and improve deployment speed of VMs, this paper proposes an approach of customized VM image with LFS. LFS can reduce the size of VM image efficiently and enable flexible customization of the VM image by incremental customization. The experimental results show us that the size of VM image generated by the proposed method is smaller than the one generated by kernel tailoring technology in system overhead. Meanwhile it is also faster in running speed.

In this paper, a modified particle swarm optimization(MPSO) algorithm is proposed to solve the reliability redundancy optimization problem. This algorithm modifies the strategy of generating new position of particles. For each generation solution, the flight velocity of particles is removed. Whereas the new position of each particle is generated by using difference strategy. Moreover, an adaptive parameter is used to ensure diversity of feasible solutions. Experimental results on four benchmark problems demonstrate that the proposed MPSO has better robustness, effectiveness and efficiency than other algorithms reported in literatures for solving the reliability redundancy optimization problem.

This paper finds the most expressive segments of a shape category called similar and discriminative parts, which can distinguish the learned shape class from other groups. The proposed model chooses a computationally efficient shape segment metric for similar and discriminative parts matching algorithm, and addition with a strategy for determining the cover parameter β for registering a shape part class.
