Accidents are the leading causes of injuries and fatality rate raises vulnerably in automobile. The need of additional safety options to reinforce the active safety in vehicles. The foremost reason behind the accident is drivers fault and braking inefficiency. Automatic braking and additional features are incorporated in high cost vehicles not in low cost vehicles. The research is carried on the low cost vehicles to prevent drivers from collisions which are cost effective. Therefore the result suggested that more than 16 to 20 percentage of collision occurs due to driver’s health issues. The drivers fault is monitored and braking efficiency is enhanced by using the proposed system. The proposed system used to monitor the condition of the driver by inserting sensor in steering wheel for pulse measuring. The mechanical plunger for actuating the braking system is incorporated to prevent the collision during health issues. During abnormal condition of the driver the pulse sensor gives the signal to the controller to activate the hydraulic plunger connected to the brake pedal. The actuator which is placed above the brake pedal and it is compressed when the signal from the controller to compress the brake pedal during demand. The proposed system analysis the condition of driver to enhance the protection to the driver and retards the vehicle speed to prevent the accidents.

Dental problems such as tooth ache and other related disorders are very common among people irrespective of countries. The contemporary food consuming culture aggravated dental issues especially among children who all are suffering a lot. Dental science is a part of medical science has introduced several advancements as remedies in tackling these problems. Nevertheless, the focus is still on researches to explore the effective solutions in the removal of tooth caries. Conventional techniques prefer the tooth removal as preventive measure to end the dissemination of tooth caries. Drilling is an example for conventional practice in caries removal followed by filling with amalgam and other means of filling. This tooth elimination and subsequent processes leads to heat generation, vibrations and noise inducement in the processing tooth. Consequently, patient suffers from pain. Drill-less dentistry is a novel technique that can handle the caries removal without any painful moments. The present work is concerned with drill-less dentistry and come up with a solution in the form of mathematical expression for caries removal rate. The derivation of respective expression revealed that mass flow rate, impact velocity and density of particles (abrasives) are the most influencing factors in deciding the caries removal rate.

Many of the manufacturing industries use sheet metal for optimizing the weight of the products. Forming process has been successively increasing during the past few decades. Indexing mechanisms have been used in milling, weaving, packing, etc. for continuous production purpose. Shearing of sheet metals has been widely used for optimizing the weight of the components and products. Crank slotter mechanism was widely used in the mechanisms for intermittent operations. This has been replaced by Geneva mechanism. The paper aims at deriving the mathematical relations for slotted Geneva wheel using curve theory. The kinematic characteristics are derived using the DH notations Finite element analysis has been done on the designed Geneva wheel with pin. It is analysed for the contact stresses when the drive crank pin slides along the slots of the wheel to operate the mechanism.
