Intrumer:A Multi Module Distributed Explainable IDS/IPS for Securing Cloud Environment

The increasing use of cloud-based devices has reached the critical point of cybersecurity and unwanted network *** environments pose significant challenges in maintaining privacy and *** approaches,such as IDS,have been developed to tackle these ***,most conventional Intrusion Detection System(IDS)models struggle with unseen cyberattacks and complex high-dimensional *** fact,this paper introduces the idea of a novel distributed explainable and heterogeneous transformer-based intrusion detection system,named INTRUMER,which offers balanced accuracy,reliability,and security in cloud settings bymultiplemodulesworking together within *** traffic captured from cloud devices is first passed to the TC&TM module in which the Falcon Optimization Algorithm optimizes the feature selection process,and Naie Bayes algorithm performs the classification of *** selected features are classified further and are forwarded to the Heterogeneous Attention Transformer(HAT)*** this module,the contextual interactions of the network traffic are taken into account to classify them as normal or malicious *** classified results are further analyzed by the Explainable Prevention Module(XPM)to ensure trustworthiness by providing interpretable *** the explanations fromthe classifier,emergency alarms are transmitted to nearby IDSmodules,servers,and underlying cloud devices for the enhancement of preventive *** experiments on benchmark IDS datasets CICIDS 2017,Honeypots,and NSL-KDD were conducted to demonstrate the efficiency of the INTRUMER model in detecting network trafficwith high accuracy for different *** outperforms state-of-the-art approaches,obtaining better performance metrics:98.7%accuracy,97.5%precision,96.3%recall,and 97.8%*** results validate the robustness and effectiveness of INTRUMER in securing diverse cloud environments against sophisticated cyber threats.

Automatic Fetal Segmentation Designed on computer-Aided Detection with Ultrasound Images

AutoRhythmAI: A Hybrid Machine and Deep Learning Approach for Automated Diagnosis of Arrhythmias

In healthcare,the persistent challenge of arrhythmias,a leading cause of global mortality,has sparked extensive research into the automation of detection using machine learning(ML)***,traditional ML and AutoML approaches have revealed their limitations,notably regarding feature generalization and automation *** glaring research gap has motivated the development of AutoRhythmAI,an innovative solution that integrates both machine and deep learning to revolutionize the diagnosis of *** approach encompasses two distinct pipelines tailored for binary-class and multi-class arrhythmia detection,effectively bridging the gap between data preprocessing and model *** validate our system,we have rigorously tested AutoRhythmAI using a multimodal dataset,surpassing the accuracy achieved using a single dataset and underscoring the robustness of our *** the first pipeline,we employ signal filtering and ML algorithms for preprocessing,followed by data balancing and split for *** second pipeline is dedicated to feature extraction and classification,utilizing deep learning ***,we introduce the‘RRI-convoluted trans-former model’as a novel addition for binary-class *** ensemble-based approach then amalgamates all models,considering their respective weights,resulting in an optimal model *** our study,the VGGRes Model achieved impressive results in multi-class arrhythmia detection,with an accuracy of 97.39%and firm performance in precision(82.13%),recall(31.91%),and F1-score(82.61%).In the binary-class task,the proposed model achieved an outstanding accuracy of 96.60%.These results highlight the effectiveness of our approach in improving arrhythmia detection,with notably high accuracy and well-balanced performance metrics.

Hybrid CGAN-based plant leaf disease classification using OTSU and surf feature extraction

Agriculture encompasses a way of life and a profession for the general population. Most global traditions and cultures revolve around agriculture. With the help of advanced farming, agriculture may become more profitable, dependable, and able to use resources and time more effectively. The proposed hybrid CGAN using OTSU and SURF (CGAN-OF) model provides a novel framework for plant leaf disease classification. In proposed CGAN-OF model, contrast-limited adaptive histogram equalization is used for image preprocessing and enhancement. The proposed model utilizes OTSU algorithm to speed up the image segmentation without prior knowledge of the images and SURF algorithm to extract the local features using scale-invariant feature transformation. CGAN increases the input plant village dataset using image generation method and identifies the various plant leaf diseases and classifies them. There are three classifications of leaf diseases: fungi, viruses, and bacteria. Furthermore, these classifications contain approximately 300 diseases. The proposed work identified a minimum of 200 diseases in 18,161 major and minor crop species. The investigational investigations are carried out using the Python Jupyter app with the Kaggle Plant Village Dataset and also leaf samples collected from farmers. Manhattan-based k-member clustering and enhanced rabbit optimization algorithm for k-anonymization in social network

Online social networks are becoming more and more popular, according to recent trends. The user's primary concern is the secure preservation of their data and privacy. A well-known method for preventing individual identity in publicly accessible datasets is K-anonymization. Existing anonymity techniques' primary drawback is that they're susceptible to similarity and attribute disclosure attacks. Furthermore, a large amount of data has been lost in the given database. To address this limitation, the proposed model integrated an anonymizing algorithm with Manhattan-based k-member clustering and an enhanced rabbit optimization algorithm (MKCAEROA). The Manhattan distance-based k member (MKCA) clustering algorithm is employed in this case to cluster the initial database. The resulting clusters are then further optimized, and the original database is made anonymous, using the enhanced rabbit optimization algorithm (EROA). In the suggested model, EROA is included to satisfy the specified anonymity constraints while concurrently minimizing the clustering error rate and the generated information loss. When compared to existing approaches, the experimental results demonstrate that the suggested method provides the highest clustering accuracy with the least amount of information loss. Hybrid RMDL-CNN for speech recognition from unclear speech signal

ASR is an effectual approach, which converts human speech into computer actions or text format. It involves extracting and determining the noise feature, the audio model, and the language model. The extraction and determination of the noise feature is a crucial aspect of speech recognition, serving as both a process of information compression and signal deconvolution. ASR schemes are mostly employed in smart homes, smart appliances, and biometric schemes. Yet, traditional approaches offer very low performance because of a noisy environment. Moreover, local differences and accents negatively influence the ASR scheme execution during the conversion of the speech signals. This paper introduces a hybrid RMDL-CNN method to address these challenges. At first, the input of unclear speech is carried out by the dataset. Then, signal pre-processing is done by employing a Gaussian filter. After that, voice enhancement is accomplished by employing nonlinear spectral subtraction. Later, the speech word is segmented from the enhanced output based on the Attentional Encoder-Decoder approach and finally, the speech is recognized using the proposed RMDL-CNN. The RMDL-CNN method is devised by the combination of RMDL and CNN. Furthermore, the established RMDL-CNN is accessed for its efficiency based on several values of k-group value, as well as learning data. In addition, the introduced RMDL-CNN approach for speech recognition achieved better accuracy, PPV, as well as NPV of 0.909, 0.947, and 0.917 for dataset 1. Moreover, the RMDL-CNN has achieved the highest accuracy of 0.909, PPV of 0.926 and NPV of 0.888 for dataset 2. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2025.

The cloud computing technology is utilized for achieving resource utilization of remotebased virtual computer to facilitate the consumers with rapid and accurate massive data *** utilizes on-demand resource provisioning,but the necessitated constraints of rapid turnaround time,minimal execution cost,high rate of resource utilization and limited makespan transforms the Load Balancing(LB)process-based Task Scheduling(TS)problem into an NP-hard optimization *** this paper,Hybrid Prairie Dog and Beluga Whale Optimization Algorithm(HPDBWOA)is propounded for precise mapping of tasks to virtual machines with the due objective of addressing the dynamic nature of cloud *** capability of HPDBWOA helps in decreasing the SLA violations and Makespan with optimal resource *** is modelled as a scheduling strategy which utilizes the merits of PDOA and BWOA for attaining reactive decisions making with respect to the process of assigning the tasks to virtual resources by considering their priorities into *** addresses the problem of pre-convergence with wellbalanced exploration and exploitation to attain necessitated Quality of Service(QoS)for minimizing the waiting time incurred during TS *** further balanced exploration and exploitation rates for reducing the makespan during the task allocation with complete awareness of VM *** results of the proposed HPDBWOA confirmed minimized energy utilization of 32.18% and reduced cost of 28.94% better than approaches used for *** statistical investigation of the proposed HPDBWOA conducted using ANOVA confirmed its efficacy over the benchmarked systems in terms of throughput,system,and response time.

The advent of autonomous vehicles has revolutionized the automotive industry, offering promising advancements in safety, efficiency, and mobility. To integrate these autonomous vehicles into our society seamlessly, it is imperative to establish a robust licensing system that ensures the safe operation of automated vehicles on public roads. This article presents an effective smart Driving Licensing System (SDLS), a digital framework designed to regulate the existing licensing system and authorize licensing for autonomous vehicles. Through a comprehensive assessment process, the system assesses the drivers and the autonomous vehicle’s ability to navigate various road conditions, respond to dynamic environments, and prioritize safety for passengers and other road users. SDLS integrates high-level security through facial and fingerprint verification for identity verification to preserve licensing data. Hacking and unauthorized access to autonomous vehicles is prevented by robust cybersecurity protocols. The key benefits of SDLS include automated data collection, integration of wireless sensor networks (WSN) and Internet of Things (IoT), smart application processing, real-time license checks, cybersecurity measures, automated testing, and digital certification. The proposed system offers a comprehensive approach to safely integrating autonomous vehicles into our transportation ecosystem. The autonomous vehicles are integrated with antennas at rooftops or into bumpers, depending upon the vehicle design which can be connected with the SDLS for signal communication. Furthermore, the SDLS establishes a framework for continuous monitoring and updates, enabling ongoing assessments to keep pace with evolving technology and safety standards. © 2024 by Begell House, Inc.

Detection and Prevention of Black Hole Attack using Tree Hierarchical Deep Convolutional Neural Network and Enhanced Identity-based Encryption in Vehicular Ad Hoc Network

A method for the recognition and prevention of a black hole attack is proposed using a tree hierarchical deep convolutional neural network (THDCNN)and enhanced identity based encryption in a vehicular ad hoc network (VANET). Automobiles are organized with a cluster formula using an improved k-means clustering algorithm. Following the cluster formation, cluster head (CH) selection is done using a balancing composite motion optimization (BCMO) algorithm. After selecting the cluster head, the entrance of a spiteful node occurs in the cluster. The THDCNN is proposed for classifying a cluster node as i) a black hole attack node or ii) a normal node. If a black hole attack node is found, the attack node information is communicated to an individual CH, which makes a final decision. Otherwise, the standard node data is encrypted with the enhanced identity-based encryption algorithm. Finally, the proposed method prevents the normal node data from the attacker.
