A large number of individuals are languid in regard to workouts. They are reluctant to go out for biking. This venture gives a virtual situation to them while they do practice on indoor machines. A viable alternative to these methods of transport that can be alluring to a wide crowd, for transport in a versatile range of environments in a protected space for exercises in cycling. This virtual space is created with Unity, a real-time cross-platform game engine which supports Virtual Reality (VR) technology. The clients can have a rich and immersive interaction with the system. The sensor attached to the stationary bicycle sends signals to the client’s cell phone by means of Bluetooth which controls the virtual vehicle on the gadget. The motion from the paddle and steering movement is tallied as the speed and direction of the virtual automobile. Low energy Bluetooth, potentiometers, gyro-sensor, reed switch, and accelerometer were used as components to make the system to achieve the mentioned tasks. The uniqueness of this innovation lies in the coherence of the system which allows the costumer to implement in almost in any paddle powered vehicle in a user-friendly manner with economic feasibility.

The assiduous irregularity of heart beat rate might be a omen of some stern health related issues such like Tachycardia, coronary and Artery infirmity. Therefore it is acutely crucial to keep groove of one’s health by auditing the rate of heart beat. As some customary approach like Electro-cardiogram (ECG) are already in use, but the usage is too convoluted and cumbersome. This demand for unique facile and modest heart rate scaling apparatus. This paper delineates the layout and operation of the equipment stationed on the fundamentals of Pulse Oximeter. This apparatus is prudent, user-friendly and low arduous device. The pursuance of the device was appraised and the outputs are correlated with the record of regular heart rate auditor by which the breach detected is minimum. The heart rate monitoring system uses a LM324 IC for the filtration and amplification of the signal which is to be processed further to get the output. The optical sensor consists of an IR Transmitter and a Photo Detector which is placed over the finger to measure the counting of the pulse. This low cost device is interfaced with Arduino which programs the device to display the heart rate. After the above system is allied to computer, there is a gratification to the user, they would be able to examine the condition of pulse rates. Besides the above mentioned features, the waveforms attained can be used for advertence in future. This would help the user to figure out and shot their heart pulse rate at home.

The Industrial Waste (phosphogypsum) is a waste product which was produced from the chemical industries. This waste material is used in concrete. It is ancient technique of converting the waste materials into value added products. When the industrial waste is utilized in construction industry, it may increase the availability of materials used for construction purpose and also reduces the expenditure made for disposal. It also reduces the pollution to the environment. The substitute material for changing materials used for laying pavement is got from industrial waste with agriculture based industrial waste. The main aim of this study deals with experimental investigation of test on concrete such as on compressive strength, flexural test, split tensile test, Characteristics of partial replacement of cement with 10%, 20%, 30% of Industrial Waste(phosphogysum). From this it was seen that when there is 20% replacement of cement with industrial waste, it gives a good test result then the other mix percentage. This type of concrete with industrial waste is very suitable for laying rigid pavement.

This paper describes the overall design and development of an individual system that incorporates a significant lowcost and flexible home controls and monitoring system for accessing and controlling house hold appliances automatically by implementing geofence technology. High penetration of renewable energies in the electrical grids require forecasting information for their proper integration. This necessitates the robust forecasting techniques in terms of faster speed and high accuracy. There is a large number of statistical and machine learning methods available for forecasting, but individually their speed and accuracy is lesser than the hybrid methods. This paper proposes two-hybrid methods ARIMA-SVR and ARIMA-RNN which are very fast and accurate. These methods are tested on a wind farm dataset of two zones, and hourly predictions are performed on these. Results obtained have shown that ARIMA-SVR hybrid architecture outperformed the ARIMA-RNN for the selected two wind farm zones.

Remote satellite imaging provides vital information for observing number of applications such as, land region detection and urban area classification. This paper proposed a novel approach for Classification and extraction of texture features from high resolution satellite images dataset. Preprocessing is done for satellite sensing image using Hilbert matrix filter and Modified Hilbert matrix filter. Then the texture features are extracted from the Hilbert image and Modified Hilbert image using Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM). Finally, obtained features are classified using Decision tree and Random Forest and the accuracy, precision, recall and F-measure is analyzed for performance evaluation.

In this paper, using fuzzy logic technique an intelligent traffic signal control is introduced. The existing traffic light controllers would not give a best solution to this problem as it changes traffic lights based on constant cycle time. Fuzzy logic controllers can be used to deal with linguistic and unpredictable traffic data to control the signal timings. This paper aims at developing an intelligent traffic light controller using fuzzy logic technique and illustrated a control procedure using if – then rules.

IR camera, with its various advantages, can be found in many different fields. The most important application of an IR camera is that it can be used even in the dark, unlike an ordinary camera. Using this plus point, we can integrate this with other technologies to help us locate obstacles in the dark. This is due to the fact that IR cameras can detect heat instead of just capturing and since everything on this planet gives off heat, these IR cameras can detect these obstacles. Many methods have been implemented to deal with such problems but there are not easily available and are quite expensive. IR camera have been used in as surveillance cameras and also in movies to make the inanimate idealistic. However, they have not been integrated with smart watches which are easily available nowadays and are much cheaper than any other alternatives. The idea is to integrate this IR camera with a smart watch that would make it portable and easy to use anywhere. Not only is this technology aimed to help the general public but also the blind. Detection of any facial expression would alert the watch wearer that someone is in vicinity. Since IR camera can sense heat, they would be better recognizers of different expressions. This would not only allow them to navigate on their own, but also inform about the whereabouts of the user to their close friends and family in case of emergency.

In this work, we have used an IoT based approach along with required mathematical formulae to ascertain the quality of air in different indoor environments. By using the concept of an embedded technology, various sensors are connected to collect the data in different environments. The cloud technology is used for storing the sensed data. This collected data is stored in the information cloud and then inquired for the analysis of any environmental condition. This model is used to record and analyze such data in ThingSpeak. ThingSpeak is an analytic data platform for which IoT can be used as aggregation, visualization and analysis of live data steam in cloud. Moreover, Python codes are written for different mathematical formulae which are used in the ThingSpeak to check the environment condition. It has been observed that the graphical representation of environmental parameters in ThingSpeak gives the basic idea about the environment condition of that particular region.
