This work mainly aims to solve many problems in communicating in the lives of a person with vision impairment. Most of us face India today as the home for the biggest number of blind people in the world. Day by day, technology is mostly developed in mobile communication, which has an important function to play. Only visually challenged persons can read the message on the touch screen of the display in the messaging application. However, the system quality is not acceptable since the blind persons are unable to properly distinguish the text. Braille technology is still utilised for reading purposes solely by the blinds. In our method of reading and answering messages from visually challenged persons utilising our Braille system. Blind persons can reach the messaging application on mobile phones like ordinary people with Braille technology. At the same time, keypads employing one message per user can deliver the information via Message simply based on the keypad selections. This technology allows untrained individuals to utilise the messaging application on a mobile system and then to utilise GSM to communicate with Easily Blind People.

We propose a family of multivalue collocation methods for the numerical solution of differential problems, potentially candidate to be stiff. For this reason, the suggested numerical schemes have strong stability properties, such as A-stability. Moreover, in order to obtain an efficient implementation, it is desirable to impose the conditions gaining a structured coefficient matrix of the nonlinear system for the computation of the internal stages. The construction of these methods has been presented and the properties of the resulting formulae have been verified experimentally.

Recent research has shown that the emotional characteristics of the bowed strings and brass change with different pitch and dynamics. This work compares how pitch and dynamics influence their characters in the western orchestral sustaining musical instruments. We conducted listening tests where listeners gave absolute judgements on the sounds over ten emotional categories and analyzed the data with logistic regression. For pitch, the categories Happy and Heroic had an arched shape that peaked at C6. Romantic, Calm, and Shy increased until C4 and decreased afterwards. Comic and Mysterious did not shown a clear common trend with pitch. Angry and Scary had a U-shape that was slightly stronger at the highest pitch, while Sad decreased with pitch. For dynamics, Happy, Heroic, Comic, and Angry were stronger for loud notes, while Romantic, Calm, Mysterious, Shy, and Sad were stronger for soft notes. For Scary, loud and soft notes were about the same. In the bowed strings and woodwinds, pitch and dynamics had about an equally important effect on the emotional characteristics, while pitch had a more important effect than dynamics in the brass. For the bowed strings, brass, and woodwinds, the particular instrument was more of a secondary factor though still important.

A Galerkin finite element method is constructed for computing solution of the Fisher equation. Hyperbolic-trigonometric tension (HTT) B-splines are used as weight and shape functions in the Galerkin approach. Fully discretization of the Fisher equation is fulfilled via Crank-Nicolson method in time and Galerkin method in space. Travelling wave front solution is studied to show robustness of the presented scheme on Fisher equation. The numerical results obtained with the present method are satisfactory with regard to its accuracy.

Previous research on the soprano and tenor voices have shown that their emotional characteristics change with different vowel, pitch, and dynamics. This work continues the investigation with the alto and bass voices. Listening tests were conducted whereby listeners gave absolute judgements on the SATB voice tones over ten emotional categories, with the data analyzed using logistic regression. High-arousal categories were stronger for loud tones, whereas low-arousal categories were stronger for soft tones. The categories Happy, Heroic, Romantic, and Shy had mostly upward trends across the pitch range, whereas Angry had an overall downward trend. Calm and Sad had an arch-shaped trend, while Scary had a U-shaped trend. Comic and Mysterious had different trends among the voices. The voices each exhibited different vowel trends, though vowel A was dominant for all the voice types in the categories Happy and Romantic. Dynamics had the strongest effect overall, followed closely by pitch, with both effects approximately twice as strong as the effect of vowel. Vowel U had the largest strength-of-expressiveness overall, with A second, O third, I fourth, and finally E last. These results give a quantified preliminary perspective on how vowel, pitch, and dynamics shape emotional expression in the SATB voices.

Cassava is a woody plant in which leaf disease affects the productivity that primarily influences the farmers, as it occurs naturally. A Deep Convolutional Neural Network (DCNN) based leaf disease classification model is proposed. Automatic detection of cassava leaf disease assists humans in monitoring the huge farm of crops manually. Early detection of the disease symptoms on plant leaves aids in avoiding the spreading of leaf diseases throughout the farmland. The diseased leaf region is segmented. Its statistical features are extracted using Deep Learning (DL) technique and fed as input to the classifier with the training dataset model with various leaf diseases. First, the given input image is identified as a normal leaf or infected leaf. Followed by classifying the type of disease based on the pre-trained database with various datasets, namely Cassava Green Mite (CGM), Cassava Brown Streak Disease (CBSD), Cassava Bacterial Blight (CBB), Cassava Mosaic Disease (CMD) diseases.

Cellular phones face issues of low signal power and reduced call quality when intended to use in the interior environment. Though the traditional method of using distributed antenna systems, somehow overcomes this issue but has many limitations too. As a result, this paper suggested a model that address the shortcomings of the previously described method by implementing a wireless framework to curb the reduced signal quality in indoor communication. In the proposed protocol, we have designed a compact, low-power cellular base station called Femtocells, which helps service providers or base stations to extend indoor service coverage and provide better signal quality. This can be used in both residential and enterprise areas. These cellular access points provide communication between the local Femtocells are essentially a form of the cellular access point that provides communication between the mobile phones and internet. The algorithm used behind this is AODV Routing Protocol and it operates in two different phases: Route Discovery and Route maintenance mechanism. The primary task of femtocells is to allocate the vacant spectrum to its users from the main base station by using the cognitive radio technology. Thus, the users can communicate efficiently without any drop calls even when the signal strength is very less as femtocells effectively extend the cell coverage and capacity. When compared to Distributed Antenna System, the proposed technique is completely wireless, low cost and guarantees signal strength to a greater extend.

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is one of the underdiagnosed sleep disorders in which the respiratory airpaths are disturbed and weakens the respiration process. Apnea refers to the termination of flow of air to the lungs which persists at least for 10 seconds. It is a serious factor for several conditions like hypoxia, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases including stroke. Presently, Polysomnography (PSG) taken over full night duration is implemented as standard method for OSA assessment. Over hundred million people around the world suffer from sleep apnea. This includes, 3- 7% men and 2-5% women. Yet there is a lack of patient friendly medical devices for long term monitoring of OSA. This is because the current systems are rather bulky, expensive, intrusive and unavailable in a comfortable environment for patients. The proposed system aims at developing a wearable, convenient, inexpensive and compact device for long term monitoring of OSA. Our approach is based on monitoring the patient using a double channel system of respiration rate and saturation pressure of oxygen. The data regarding the occurrence of events is collected and generated as an overnight report which can be sent to the patient/caregiver/doctor. In emergency cases an alarm will be triggered and the patient will be woken up from sleep.

The pyrotechnic mixtures are highly explosive in nature. In this research a mixture of flash powder composition is used. The mixture is prepared by mixing aluminium, potassium nitrate and sulphur. In the manufacturing process of flash powder composition, the total weight consist of 23% of aluminium (grade 999), 57% of potassium nitrate and 20% of sulphur are added. Till date various accidents were reported during the manufacturing process of the flash composition. As an alternate for of this, five different mixture proportions were taken by varying components percentage level in the mixture. Subjected to various study those five different composition mixture are taken determine their effective function and also to understand their performance during processing and burning. Impact sensitivity experiment is performed for five different mixtures in order to determine the minimum energy which is required to initiate the firing and it has been analysed. Thermal Characteristics of five different composition were analysed using Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) to determine the rate of heat flow with respect to time.
