Conjugate heat transfer due to the solid at the inner surface is investigated when the outer surface is heated to hot temperature and inner surface is maintained at lower temperature. The present article is continuation of the article that discussed the effect of physical parameters. This article is specifically focused to discuss the geometric parameters such as aspect ratio, radius ratio and the solid width radio on heat transfer characteristics. Guided wave localization methods based on delay-and-sum imaging, matched field processing, and other techniques have been designed and researched to create images that locate and describe structural damage. The maximum value of these images typically represent an estimated damage location. Yet, it is often unclear if this maximum value, or any other value in the image, is a statistically significant indicator of damage. Furthermore, there are currently few, if any, approaches to assess the statistical significance of guided wave localization images. As a result, we present statistical delay-and-sum and statistical matched field processing localization methods to create statistically significant images of damage. Our framework uses constant rate of false alarm statistics and extreme value theory to detect damage with little prior information. We demonstrate our methods with in situ guided wave data from an aluminum plate to detect two 0.75 cm diameter holes. Our results show an expected improvement in statistical significance as the number of sensors increase. With seventeen sensors, both methods successfully detect damage with statistical significance.

Currently the application of Industry 4.0 is being promoted in Indonesia, among others, in systems in industry, medical, transportation, agriculture, and public services. This has encouraged the implementation of The Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The implementation of IoT in the industry there is no price problem, but in the low profit sectors the use of the industry standard IoT system is a problem. Therefore, this paper will provide the results of the study on the use of Low-Cost IoT. The most important parameter of an IoT system is the performance of sending data from the device to the server and reversing from the server to the user. IoT devices use the NodeMCU ESP8266 module on the Ubidots platform for free. Based on the design that has been carried out, the delivery time performance of IoT to Server devices for fiber optic media and 4G cellular operators is 1-2 milliseconds and 2-7 milliseconds respectively. This value according to the standard is still very good even though using unpaid services.
