We consider information diffusion on Web-like networks and how random walks can simulate it. A well-studied problem in this domain is Partial Cover Time, i.e., the calculation of the expected number of steps a random walker needs to visit a given fraction of the nodes of the network. We notice that some of the fastest solutions in fact require that nodes have perfect knowledge of the degree distribution of their neighbors, which in many practical cases is not obtainable, e.g., for privacy reasons. We thus introduce a version of the Cover problem that considers such limitations: Partial Cover Time with Budget. The budget is a limit on the number of neighbors that can be inspected for their degree;we have adapted optimal random walks strategies from the literature to operate under such budget. Our solution is called Min-degree (MD) and, essentially, it biases random walkers towards visiting peripheral areas of the network first. Extensive benchmarking on six real datasets proves that the—perhaps counter-intuitive strategy—MD strategy is in fact highly competitive wrt. state-of-the-art algorithms for cover. In the present situation COVID-19 global pandemic, an overall world got embrace with covid-19 virus. Moreover every country went under quarantine and firm mitigation measures by temporary shutdown in people crowded place like schools, restaurants, theatres and domestic and international transport facilities[1]. So government made these measures to be effective to support and compliance of public[2]. Advanced medical technology put up with new vaccines to control infection of virus. Vaccination is one of the most effective step to control the virus from affecting the entire population. This paper aims to explore the optimal effectiveness of Vaccination for novel COVID-19 non clinical approach. We need smart solutions and decisions to mitigate the coronavirus`s impact. We formulate the mathematical model to Analyse the vaccination effectiveness[3]. The objective function is designed to reduce both awareness of vaccination and effectiveness of vaccination using WHO data/ Indian dashboard data[4]. The degree of protection As a part we can analyse the risk factors of immunization using multivariate models using statistical analysis.

Postmodern systems engineering technology, with the newest technology, massively stimulates the growth of intelligent productivity. In an intelligent development system, more and more computers are linked to the Web to receive a huge amount of data in any step—the product’s lifecycle. The surface intelligent output model allows big data to study and encourages large-scale industrial coordination with a new set of technologies and services. But, But Disposition in high speed and low latency real-time implementations is reduced by multiple factors, including network capacity; overflow capacity, and the number of sensor nodes. Fog and edge computing have increased the cloud’s processing, internetworking capability to the edge to address these problems. In this article, a hierarchical relevant provision for additive factories is presented based on cloud processing, fog computing, and computing capabilities. The technology is expected for the modern two-story level, opening up a vibrant view of future industrial processes.

Multi fractal features along with empirical wavelet transform for detecting glaucoma

The main objective of this paper is to look further into the prospect of retinal image analysis aiming for the detection and tracing of glaucoma. The computer-based component analysis entails the use of image processing techniques in order to pre-process, identify and segment the region of interest, feature extraction as well as classification from the data-set images. The structural deformation of the optic disc and cup parts, one of the primary signs of glaucoma, necessitates high specificity in the segmentation procedure. As a solution to this issue, multi-fractal features as a non-morphological aspect are obtained in the proposed method from the enhanced optic disc area. Furthermore, the extracted image is decomposed using the Empirical Wavelet Transform to acquire different bands sub images. Subsequently, multifractal features where extracted. The resultant features are classified using a variety of classifiers. Among (Least Squares Support Vector Machine, Naive Bayes, Logistic Regression classifiers) Least Square Support Vector Machine outperforms all classifiers in terms of output. The proposed method has been investigated using different data-sets which includes regular and glaucoma images. Using Least Squares Support Vector, this proposed approach achieves a sensitivity of 86.71 percent in classifying glaucoma images and total accuracy of 89.94 percent.

Cs-137 activity in fly ash from thermal electric power stations

Radioactive 137Cs has a great concern because of its long half-life (30.2 year) and its similarity to potassium which is an essential element for humans. It is well known that Cs is distributed in surface soils or specifically adsorbed on illicit clay minerals and finally enters to organisms. 137Cs is made through nuclear accidents and processes is an example of anthropogenic radionuclides. In the present work, 137Cs specific activity concentration is measured with a high efficiency gamma ray spectroscopy NaI(Tl) detector in fly ash samples from two thermal electric power stations in the south of Iraq (Al-Naserya and Al-Musaeb). The 137Cs specific activity concentration are founded with ranges from 20±4.8 Bq kg-1 to 120±27.6 Bq kg−1 at Al-Naserya and 17±4.4 Bq kg-1 to 86±19.8 Bq kg−1 at Al-Musaeb station. Some of these values are alerted us to take care about the received dose because these concentrations are higher than background and world-wide limit (37 Bq kg-1 From UNSCEAR). Also, the presented 137Cs specific activity concentration results point out an additional shot to the measured effective dose rate, which can be predicted to be the 137Cs and cosmic radiation. By accounting for the contribution of 137Cs in the estimated absorbed dose rate, applying the conversion coefficient 0.136 (nGy h−1 per Bq kg−1). If a human inhale the air every day for 70 years, the radiation dose must be less than the dose limit (1 mSv y−1). In case 137CS is present, the criterion is the activity of 137Cs /60≦1.

Complex processes often arise from sequences of simpler interactions involving a few particles at a time. These interactions, however, may not be directly accessible to experiments. Here we develop the first efficient method for unravelling the causal structure of the interactions in a multipartite quantum process, under the assumption that the process has bounded information loss and induces causal dependencies whose strength is above a fixed (but otherwise arbitrary) threshold. Our method is based on a quantum algorithm whose complexity scales polynomially in the total number of input/output systems, in the dimension of the systems involved in each interaction, and in the inverse of the chosen threshold for the strength of the causal dependencies. Under additional assumptions, we also provide a second algorithm that has lower complexity and requires only local state preparation and local measurements. Our algorithms can be used to identify processes that can be characterized efficiently with the technique of quantum process tomography. Similarly, they can be used to identify useful communication channels in quantum networks, and to test the internal structure of uncharacterized quantum circuits. Copyright © 2021, The Authors. Indonesia, well known as a maritime country, has a very wide water territorial. Exploration carried out nowadays on average is limited to the sea surface while underwater exploration is still very rarely conducted. With technological advances in the marine and shipping fields, it is hoped that it can support the optimization of underwater surveys and exploration. The underwater surveys and explorations already conducted still used conventional methods, namely divers plunging directly into the water, then conduct surveys and explorations without the help of any tools. The obstacle that divers encountered with was the difficulty of the dive field resulting in an in optimal exploration. Not only did the underwater surveys require high technology, but also did the detection of drowning victims in reservoirs or lakes also requires diving equipment to find drowning victims. Given a certain depth, water pressure can endanger divers. The use of robotics in the shipping discipline is expected to assist in the detection of drowning victims. Robots commonly used to assist these explorations are underwater robots. ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) based water robots in developed countries have been used in underwater exploration. The ROV is considered more optimal in underwater exploration compared to the conventional methods. This paper is to apply the ROV motion estimation on the XY plane or on the water surface to help the SAR team find drowning victims. The estimation method used was the Unscented Kalman Filter method. The simulation results show that the UKF method could effectively estimate the position of the ROV on the water surface or the XY plane with an accuracy of about 98%.

We show that the proof of the generalised quantum Stein’s lemma [Brandão & Plenio, Commun. Math. Phys. 295, 791 (2010)] is not correct due to a gap in the argument leading to Lemma III.9. Hence, the main achievability result of Brandão & Plenio is not known to hold. This puts into question a number of established results in the literature, in particular the reversibility of quantum entanglement [Brandão & Plenio, Commun. Math. Phys. 295, 829 (2010);Nat. Phys. 4, 873 (2008)] and of general quantum resources [Brandão & Gour, Phys. Rev. Lett. 115, 070503 (2015)] under asymptotically resource non-generating operations. We discuss potential ways to recover variants of the newly unsettled results using other approaches. © 2022, CC BY.

This paper reports a new kind of mathematical model for language competition dynamics using compartmental epidemiological modeling approach. The model describes the competition between two languages, say the predominant one called language 1, and the less spoken language 2, both in the same community. We distinguish three groups of population building the concerned community: one majority speaking language 1, one minority speaking language 2 and a last minority speaking neither language 1 nor language 2. The study of the proposed model includes an analysis of the evolution of the number of speakers over time. This model predicts that language 2 can inevitably disappear if the threshold parameter R is less than one. We show that our model is well-posed mathematically and linguistically. We also show that the model has basically two linguistic equilibrium points. A monolingual equilibrium point that corresponds to the case where only one language is spoken: some individuals speak only the language 1 and some others do speak neither language 1, nor language 2. A bilingual equilibrium point which corresponds to the case where all the languages are spoken: some individuals speak both languages 1 and 2, some others speak only language 1, while a third group does speak only language 2, and the last group speaks none of the two languages. In this bilingual equilibrium point, both languages coexist. Depending on the threshold parameter, we demonstrate the stability of these equilibria. The model presents on one hand, a direct bifurcation phenomenon, in which we have a stable equilibrium point without bilingual speakers when the associated basic reproduction number is less than one. On the other hand, it presents a stable bilingual equilibrium point when the number of associated basic reproductions is greater than one. A latent encoder coupled generative adversarial network (LE-GAN) for efficient hyperspectral image super-resolution

Realistic hyperspectral image (HSI) super-resolution (SR) techniques aim to generate a high-resolution (HR) HSI with higher spectral and spatial fidelity from its low-resolution (LR) counterpart. The generative adversarial network (GAN) has proven to be an effective deep learning framework for image super-resolution. However, the optimisation process of existing GAN-based models frequently suffers from the problem of mode collapse, leading to the limited capacity of spectral-spatial invariant reconstruction. This may cause the spectral-spatial distortion on the generated HSI, especially with a large upscaling factor. To alleviate the problem of mode collapse, this work has proposed a novel GAN model coupled with a latent encoder (LE-GAN), which can map the generated spectral-spatial features from the image space to the latent space and produce a coupling component to regularise the generated samples. Essentially, we treat an HSI as a high-dimensional manifold embedded in a latent space. Thus, the optimisation of GAN models is converted to the problem of learning the distributions of high-resolution HSI samples in the latent space, making the distributions of the generated super-resolution HSIs closer to those of their original high-resolution counterparts. We have conducted experimental evaluations on the model performance of super-resolution and its capability in alleviating mode collapse. The proposed approach has been tested and validated based on two real HSI datasets with different sensors (i.e. AVIRIS and UHD-185) for various upscaling factors (i.e. ×2, ×4, ×8) and added noise levels (i.e. ∞ db, 40 db, 80 db), and compared with the state-of-the-art super-resolution models (i.e. HyCoNet, LTTR, BAGAN, SR- GAN, WGAN). Experimental results show that the proposed model outperforms the competitors on the superresolution quality, robustness, and alleviation of mode collapse.
