We obtain local regularity for minimizers of autonomous vectorial integrals of the Calculus of Variations, assuming ψ-growth hypothesis and imposing φ - quasiconvexity assumptions only in asymptotic sense, both in the sub-quadratic and the super-quadratic case. In particular we obtain C1,α regularity at points x0 such that Du is large enough around x0 and clearly Lipschitz regularity on a dense set. An End-to-End Deep Learning QoS Prediction Model Based on Temporal Context and Feature Fusion

Existing end-to-end quality of service (QoS) prediction methods based on deep learning often use one-hot encodings as features, which are input into neural networks. It is difficult for the networks to learn the information that is conducive to prediction. Aiming at the above problem, an end-to-end deep learning QoS prediction model based on a temporal context and feature fusion is proposed. In the proposed model, three blocks are designed for QoS prediction. Firstly, a user-service encoding conversion block is designed to convert the one-hot encodings of users and services into the latent features of users and services, which can make full use of the data in sparse matrices. Then a time feature extraction block is designed to extract time features based on the time-varying characteristics of QoS values. Finally, the time features are fused with the latent features of users and services to predict QoS values. The experimental results show that on existing datasets, the proposed model has better prediction accuracy than other advanced methods in response time and throughput. © 2025 IEEE.

Cross-Modal Progressive Perspective Matching Network for Remote Sensing Image-Text Retrieval

Cross-modality based on remote sensing (RS) text-image retrieval has gained increasing attention in recent years due to its ability to leverage the rich semantics of images and the understandability of text to provide a more comprehensive description. Existing cross-modal retrieval methods typically apply self-attention or cross-attention mechanisms to identify important information in RS data, but they ignore the multi-view perception characteristic of geographical space in RS images. As a result, these retrieval models fail to locate the correct perspective in images according to the query text, ultimately leading to incorrect matching. In this work, a Cross-modal Progressive Perspective Matching Network (CPPMN) is proposed for remote sensing image-text retrieval by establishing a progressive perspective matching mechanism and semantic alignment to further improve the performance of the retrieval model. Specifically, the CPPMN framework consists of three core modules: the Compensation Network for Full Perspective Modeling (CN_FPM), the Graph Transformation for Individual Perspective Modeling (GT_IPM), and the Cascaded Transformer for Cross-modal Semantic Alignment (CT_CSA). The CN_FPM module utilizes all positive text samples as supervision signals to guide the feature extraction training process, aiming to capture full perspective information from images. Subsequently, the GT_IPM module transforms implicit-perspective feature representations into explicit-perspective cross-modal relationship graphs. This transformation enables the identification of specific perspective locations within the image according to the query sentence by analyzing graph density and connectivity. When extracting any information from a data table with incomplete information, following Lipski we only know the lower and the upper bound of the information. Methods of rough sets that are applied to data tables containing incomplete information are examined from the viewpoint of Lipski’s approach based on possible world semantics. It is clarified that the formula that is first used by Kryszkiewicz, which most of the authors use, only gives the lower bound of the lower approximation and the upper bound of the upper approximation. When we focus on a value, this is because it is only considered that a missing value can be equal to that value. We extend Kryszkiewicz’s formula to consider that the missing value may not be equal to the value. As a result, the extended Kryszkiewicz’s formula gives the same approximations as those in terms of Lipski’s approach. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2023.

Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is a robust stochastic optimization algorithm for solving complex and constrained optimization problems. This paper aims to systematically investigate the influence of diverse random number distributions on the learning parameters of PSO and evaluate the algorithm's sensitivity based on these parameters. To this end, several exhaustive numerical experiments were conducted on several test functions, including asymmetric Sphere, Easom, and Csendes. Initially, appropriate random distributions were identified for the learning parameters and proceeded to compare these distributions using all potential combinations. The sensitivity of PSO to these parameters was evaluated using the mean best score, the relative proximity of the best particle to the theoretical optimum, and the average objective function evaluations. The most significant contribution of this research lies in the insights derived from the experimental data. The discovery was that highly skewed and long-tailed distributions such as Chi, Chi-square, Lomax, and Exponential often underperform. On the other hand, distributions that are bounded proportionally to the problem domain consistently surpass the performance of the standard uniform distribution. These findings significantly enhance the understanding of PSO algorithms and provide valuable guidelines for their practical deployment. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V. This paper presents an advanced solution for AC/DC/AC converter structure using a novel modulation approach for Asymmetrical Cascade H-Bridge Multi-Level Inverter (ACHB-MLI). This solution improves the structure performance and power quality of the output stepping voltage to fulfill the smart industrial grid requirements. Besides, a harmonic-free structure is employed to ensure integration with the grid, using conventional rectifiers combined with a shunt active *** novel approach presents a combination of two modulation techniques: Staircase Modulation Technique (SMT) and Selective Harmonics Elimination method (SHE). This combined approach (SMT-SHE) achieves an output stepping voltage closer to the sinusoidal waveform and free of predominant harmonics by determining the appropriate SHE switching ***-SHE approach will minimize the THD ratio, eliminate specific harmonic ranks, and allow an output voltage amplitude variation according to load specifications. Moreover, switching angles' limitations are proposed to prevent the appearance of undesired harmonics (zeros, even), while minimum number of H bridge modules with a lower rating of the capacitors is ***, the proposed AC/DC/AC converter is validated on an industrial network for supplying a specific load and tested within a MATLAB environment. © 2024 IEEE.

In the fully-decoupled radio access network (FD-RAN), the base stations (BSs) are classified as control BSs, uplink BSs, and downlink BSs for better flexibility of the BS-user equipment (UE) association and elasticity of resource scheduling. However, the high feedback delay brought by the physically decoupling architecture renders conventional feedback-based MIMO transmission ineffective. Considering the strong correlation between user geolocation and the channel propagation environment, especially when a line-of-sight (LOS) path exists, we propose a geolocation-based MIMO transmission scheme that determines the user's precoder and modulation and coding scheme (MCS) without requiring the conventional feedback procedures. To capture the correlation, we utilize deep reinforcement learning (DRL) to perform the task of mapping from geolocation to transmission parameters. Based on the principles of Type I codebook, we further decompose the task into subtasks to reduce the action space. The extensive simulations on realistic ray-tracing channels demonstrate comparable performance to CSI feedback-based methods in 5G under ideal (zero feedback delay) conditions and better performance against 5G (with feedback delay) and DRL without task decomposition. © 2023 IEEE.

Nowadays, digital services pervade all our life. Accessible services can greatly empower the personal autonomy of people with disabilities. In Europe, accessible and usable interfaces for assuring a satisfying interaction with applications and services created by Public Administrations is a right for any citizen, regardless of any functioning or ability. In this paper, starting from experience of people with disabilities, the accessibility of Italian PA services has been investigated to evaluate progresses in a time range of six years. Results suggest that PA services have increased but no substantial improvement in terms of accessibility has been recorded. Simplified interaction and increased efficiency are still lacking, even if global user satisfaction seems to have slightly improved. However, the virtuous cycle of accessibility improvement is steadily in progress thanks to tools and resources made available by eGovernment agencies with the voluntary contribution of the Italian designer and development community, and this will hopefully lead to further improvements in the coming years. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Current network security situational awareness field has problems of poor communication and low efficiency of data resources and information. Therefore, in order to solve these two problems, this paper has established a better network security data resource description standard (metadata standard) for communication of data resource information, so that communication of data resource information has a unified standard basis. Then it provides a more efficient channel for circulation of data resource information, and improve efficiency of data resource information flow through publishing and subscription technology. Rescattering of stimulated Raman side scattering(SRSS)is observed for the first time via two-dimensional(2D)particle-in-cell(PIC)*** construct a theoretical model for the rescattering process,which can predict the region of occurrence of mth-order SRSS and estimate its *** rescattering process is identified by the 2D PIC simulations under typical conditions of a direct-drive inertial confinement fusion *** electrons produced by second-order SRSS propagate nearly perpendicular to the density gradient and gain nearly the same energy as in first-order SRSS,but there is no cascade acceleration to produce superhot *** studies for a wide range of ignition conditions show that SRSS and associated rescatterings are robust and important processes in inertial confinement fusion.
