A Galerkin finite element method is constructed for computing solution of the Fisher equation. Hyperbolic-trigonometric tension (HTT) B-splines are used as weight and shape functions in the Galerkin approach. Fully discretization of the Fisher equation is fulfilled via Crank-Nicolson method in time and Galerkin method in space. Travelling wave front solution is studied to show robustness of the presented scheme on Fisher equation. The numerical results obtained with the present method are satisfactory with regard to its accuracy.

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is one of the underdiagnosed sleep disorders in which the respiratory airpaths are disturbed and weakens the respiration process. Apnea refers to the termination of flow of air to the lungs which persists at least for 10 seconds. It is a serious factor for several conditions like hypoxia, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases including stroke. Presently, Polysomnography (PSG) taken over full night duration is implemented as standard method for OSA assessment. Over hundred million people around the world suffer from sleep apnea. This includes, 3- 7% men and 2-5% women. Yet there is a lack of patient friendly medical devices for long term monitoring of OSA. This is because the current systems are rather bulky, expensive, intrusive and unavailable in a comfortable environment for patients. The proposed system aims at developing a wearable, convenient, inexpensive and compact device for long term monitoring of OSA. Our approach is based on monitoring the patient using a double channel system of respiration rate and saturation pressure of oxygen. The data regarding the occurrence of events is collected and generated as an overnight report which can be sent to the patient/caregiver/doctor. In emergency cases an alarm will be triggered and the patient will be woken up from sleep.

Cellular phones face issues of low signal power and reduced call quality when intended to use in the interior environment. Though the traditional method of using distributed antenna systems, somehow overcomes this issue but has many limitations too. As a result, this paper suggested a model that address the shortcomings of the previously described method by implementing a wireless framework to curb the reduced signal quality in indoor communication. In the proposed protocol, we have designed a compact, low-power cellular base station called Femtocells, which helps service providers or base stations to extend indoor service coverage and provide better signal quality. This can be used in both residential and enterprise areas. These cellular access points provide communication between the local Femtocells are essentially a form of the cellular access point that provides communication between the mobile phones and internet. The algorithm used behind this is AODV Routing Protocol and it operates in two different phases: Route Discovery and Route maintenance mechanism. The primary task of femtocells is to allocate the vacant spectrum to its users from the main base station by using the cognitive radio technology. Thus, the users can communicate efficiently without any drop calls even when the signal strength is very less as femtocells effectively extend the cell coverage and capacity. When compared to Distributed Antenna System, the proposed technique is completely wireless, low cost and guarantees signal strength to a greater extend.

Cassava is a woody plant in which leaf disease affects the productivity that primarily influences the farmers, as it occurs naturally. A Deep Convolutional Neural Network (DCNN) based leaf disease classification model is proposed. Automatic detection of cassava leaf disease assists humans in monitoring the huge farm of crops manually. Early detection of the disease symptoms on plant leaves aids in avoiding the spreading of leaf diseases throughout the farmland. The diseased leaf region is segmented. Its statistical features are extracted using Deep Learning (DL) technique and fed as input to the classifier with the training dataset model with various leaf diseases. First, the given input image is identified as a normal leaf or infected leaf. Followed by classifying the type of disease based on the pre-trained database with various datasets, namely Cassava Green Mite (CGM), Cassava Brown Streak Disease (CBSD), Cassava Bacterial Blight (CBB), Cassava Mosaic Disease (CMD) diseases.

This article presents the design of a boost converter that is combined with a solar panel system and a tiny wind generator using hybrid methods. They are used in wind turbines with full-bridge DC to DC converters. The performance of the converter is improved by using a DC-to-DC converter with a passive filter. This passive filter efficiently reduces the voltage stress on the medium frequency transformer in a DC-to-DC converter. A dc-to-dc converter-based wind turbine control in a dc-grid system was also demonstrated. The suggested system is implemented using MATLAB. The simulation results on the DC-DC Boost Converter show an increase in power. The suggested system was simulated in the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.

This paper includes a Cockcroft-Walton (CW) high phase dc-dc voltage transition based on multiplier, with no step-up transformer. The suggested conversion approach is very appropriate for low-input dc generating systems with continuous input current on a switch, diode or condenser with a low rib, high voltage and low voltage. In this article two frequencies in the suggested control techniques are used, one works with high frequencies in order to reduce the inductor size, the other works with a comparatively low frequency based on the rip of the target voltage.

The production of electricity from renewable sources is growing. The study proposes to use the wind power grid-based PV system and to use a PWM control system to regulate the solar system with a three-phase grid. This study aims to create a system that enhances power on the spring and controls harmonics on the grid. The converters linked up with the 3-phase RL load of the generated PV arrays. The system is comprised of the inverter, PV module, and non-linear power boost converter. The proposed way of controlling PWM makes the system robust and reliable. The converter is connected to the input side voltage source inverter to step up the generated PV array voltage. A three-phase inverter uses sliding mode control to switch signals and control the transferred active power to the grid system and load. The suggested arrangement model is developed using MATLAB/Simulink.

Augmented and Virtual Reality simulation technologies are among the fast-growing consumer-level intelligent simulation technologies and have been great solutions to enhance the user experience (UX) and interactivity. Many studies have shown that these technologies do help in virtual educational applications, but a discussion and comparison of their effects on students’ eLearning is quite limited. This experimental study focuses on evaluating the potential of AR and VR applications specially designed for eLearning purposes and tests the effects of intelligent simulations used in an e-learning virtual environment. This was done by presenting an online lecture both in VR and AR to two different groups of learners. The study was conducted among the students of multimedia in a reputed private university in India. The simulation technologies were compared in terms of participants’ test scores, engagement, excitement, and level of distraction. Scores of both the groups were compared and reported along with the participant's perception of each simulation technology. Quantitative and Qualitative data acquired from both groups have been analyzed and the results indicate that AR works best when incorporated into e-learning. This is one of the first conceptual studies of comparison between VR and AR for interactive online teaching. Further, this paper discusses the inevitability of making new tools to enable instructors to become creators of AR/VR experiences in education.

We all know how difficult it can be for parents to properly feed their children, especially if both parents are employed. The next intolerant thing is to give someone 24 hours. As a result, must devise something special that will assist parents in providing constant care and monitoring for their children. As a result, came up with the idea of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Smart Cradle System that will allow parents to keep tabs on their children even while they are away from home and track their every move. The cradle system is innovative, smart, and safe for taking care of a baby quickly. This method includes all of the tiniest features required for the baby’s care and safety while in the cradle. It also includes several features that will help parents keep tabs on their newborns and keep them informed about how they’re doing. An eight-day-old baby died in the Darbhanga district of Bihar’s government hospital’s neo-natal urgent care unit, allegedly from rat bites. The incident was made public when the mother went to breastfeed the baby in the morning. The incident occurred after the workers at the Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), located around 145 kilometres east of Patna, had gone home for the evening. The parents were natives of Madhubani’s Najra town. They claimed that the baby’s death was caused by a rat bite because blood was seeping from the boy’s toes and fingers, which had been injured and scarred. Everyone at the hospital has a distinct reason for wanting to keep such an incident from happening again. However, it was completely ignored by the parents. They stated that the child was admitted to the hospital in a severe condition and that only the therapy had been unsuccessful so far. However, the wounds discovered on the infant’s body prove that the occurrence occurred as a result of the hospital administration’s negligence. Because of the lack of infant monitoring, horrific occurrences like these occur all the time, not just in one hospi
