With the rapid advances in computer vision, human action recognition has gradually received attention, but the current methods still exhibit some problems in indoor environments. The human skeleton, as the framework of human motion, contains high-quality actional feature information, and the skeleton-based action recognition method effectively avoid the interference of interior background noise and has advantages in indoor action recognition. The outstanding effect of graph convolutional networks on graph structure data processing has led to its rapid development and wide application in skeleton-based action recognition. Second-order skeletal information also contains a large number of actional features but is not effectively utilized. The artificial predefined topology of the human skeleton map has limitations, and cannot reflect the interaction between limbs. To solve the above problems, this article designs an adaptive weighted multi-stream graph convolutional network (AM-GCN) based on skeletal information, using an attention mechanism to enhance the network's ability to extract actional features, and an adaptive layer to make the construction graph more flexible, incorporating second-order skeletal features through a dual-stream architecture. In this article, the NTU-RGB+D dataset has been used for the experiments, the results show that the method in this article has good results. © 2023 IEEE.

In the process of steel plate production, predicting the plate shape is of great significance for producing high-quality and consistently stable plate shapes. This paper presents a model that predicts both the defect types and flatness of the plate, providing theoretical support for setting process parameters in roller quenching production. First, the parameters of the quenching process are analyzed to identify their characteristics. Then, the K-Means clustering algorithm and correlation analysis are employed to process the quenching process parameters. A gradient boosting decision tree (GBDT) model is used to predict the defect types and flatness of the steel plates. Finally, industrial production data is utilized for experimental validation. The obtained experimental results verify the reliability of the proposed method. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper a motion profile design for unmanned aerial vehicles is proposed which method is able to guarantee safe collision-free motion. The motivations of the work are provided by the uncertainties of covered areas by the vehicles, and also the need of high performance fast vehicle motion. The uncertain information on the environment for detecting Conflict areas is processed through clustering and Mahalanobis-distance-based filtering methods. The resulted Conflict areas are involved in the motion design method, which is facilitated through reinforcement learning. This paper shows the application of the method on a drone that moves together with a mobile robot in the same environment. The safe and high performance motion of the drone is illustrated through simulation example.

As China's steel production accounts for an increasing share of the world's output, the intelligent transformation of the steel industry is becoming increasingly urgent. To address issues such as low levels of mobile informationization in steel enterprises and the lack of an industry-specific mobile application platform, it is of great significance to establish a shared mobile application platform for the steel industry. In this paper, the requirements of the platform were analyzed, and the platform's functions were designed. The software design of the platform was then carried out, and the entire mobile application sharing platform was developed, effectively improving the production management efficiency of steel enterprises. The results indicate that the platform can effectively meet the needs of steel enterprises and has significant engineering significance. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Learning-guided iterated local search for the minmax multiple traveling salesman problem

The minmax multiple traveling salesman problem involves minimizing the longest tour among a set of tours. The problem is of great practical interest because it can be used to formulate several real-life applications. To solve this computationally challenging problem, we propose a leaning-driven iterated local search approach that combines an aggressive local search procedure with a probabilistic acceptance criterion to find high-quality local optimal solutions and a multi-armed bandit algorithm to select various removal and insertion operators to escape local optimal traps. Extensive experiments on 77 commonly used benchmark instances show that our algorithm achieves excellent results in terms of solution quality and running time. In particular, it achieves 32 new best-known results and matches the best-known results for 35 other instances. Additional experiments shed light on the understanding of the composing elements of the algorithm. © 2024, CC BY-NC-ND.

Design and Comparison of Ammonia Reactors for Power-to-Ammonia

This work investigates the design and performance of three general types of ammonia reactors for Power-to-Ammonia (P2A). Specifically, the reactors are an adiabatic quench cooled reactor (AQCR), adiabatic indirect cooled reactor (AICR) and internal direct cooled reactor (IDCR).We present rigorous steady-state and dynamic models for the three reactor types. Steady-state optimisation at nominal load shows that the AICR and IDCR yield the highest reactant conversion at 30.0 \% and 29.4\% respectively, while the reactant conversion in the AQCR is significantly lower at 26.1 \%. We perform open-loop simulations around the optimal operating point. This illustrates the unstable oscillatory dynamics of the AQCR, while the AICR and IDCR show stable and fast decaying oscillations. However, a stability analysis revealed that the optimal operating points are situated on the verge of reactor extinction for all the reactors. Thus, even minor disturbances pose a risk of extinguishing the reactors when optimally *** optimise the reactors over an operating window from 30\% to 130\% of nominal load relevant for P2A operations. The AICR and IDCR exhibit similar reactant conversions over this operational range and showcase adaptability to varying loads as significantly higher conversions are achieved at lower loads. In contrast, the AQCR exhibits a less pronounced increase in reactant conversion at low *** the location of the optimal operating points close to reactor extinction, we suggest operating the reactors at a 15 K higher feed temperature than optimal (safety margin). We show that a 15 K safety margin only decreases ammonia conversion slightly over the operating window and ensures stable operation even for a 10\% decrease in reaction rate. © 2024, The Authors. With the rapid advancement of data acquisition technologies, multiview data have been widely applied in fields such as social networks, computer vision, and natural language processing. Multiview data typically contain information arising from different views or sensors, offering more perspectives for observation. The multiview nature also brings challenges, such as high dimensionality, noise, heterogeneity, and redundancy. Particularly, in scenarios with limited labeled data, traditional single-view learning methods often struggle to handle these complex issues. To address this, this article proposes an unsupervised multiview learning framework that integrates Takagi–Sugeno–Kang fuzzy systems and graph-based adaptive regularization (MvTSK-GAR) to handle the heterogeneity and redundancy in multiview data effectively. Specifically, this article first captures the uncertainty in multiview data through fuzzy rules and models the structural relationships between the data using graph-based adaptive regularization. The framework does not rely on a large amount of labeled data. Instead, it integrates complementary information coming from different views to automatically mine latent patterns, thus generating more accurate and stable data representations. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed framework performs well in various real-world applications, particularly excelling in high-dimensional data processing and noise reduction. We present a dynamical model of a single catalytic fixed bed in a quench-type ammonia reactor. This model consists of thermodynamics, kinetics, pressure loss, and mass and energy balances, which upon spatial discretisation results in a set of differential-algebraic equations. Compared to similar models in the literature, the main novelties in the model are: 1) a rigorous thermodynamic model using a thermodynamic software library; and 2) a correlation between the gas velocity and the pressure gradient throughout the bed, i.e. the pressure loss is included in the model and used to compute the gas velocity. We investigate steady state solutions and dynamical simulations to understand the behaviour of the single catalytic fixed bed. We determine the optimal steady state operational area and inverse response dynamics are observed. The model can be used to develop model-based control, which is relevant for dynamic and flexible operation of ammonia reactors in a Power-to-Ammonia plant.

Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) assessment in offices is demanded for the analysis of building performances, management of energy consumptions and occupants' well-being, comfort and work productivity. The present work presents the PROMET&O (PROactive Monitoring for indoor EnvironmenTal quality & cOmfort) system, composed by a low-cost and accurate multi-sensor and a tablet for the acquisition, analysis and communication of the quality conditions of indoor environments to different categories of users. In this paper, a deep residual network based on convolutional block attention module (CBAM) is proposed, which is utilized for feature extraction of partially occluded face expression data. The proposed method overcomes the problem of localized occlusion face feature extraction by focusing on the regions and channels containing important information in the occluded face data through CBAM. Multi-task cascaded convolutional networks (MTCNN) are firstly utilized to localize the key regions of face emotion, and then deep emotion features are extracted by CBAM-ResNet network. The final emotion labels are generated. The effectiveness of this paper's method is verified on the RAF-DB dataset and the occluded CK+ dataset. The experimental accuracy in the RAF-DB dataset is 76.3%, which is 3.74% and 1.64% higher than the accuracy produced by the method of RGBT, and the WLS-RF, respectively. Application experiments are carried out in the real teaching scenario, which verifies the applicability of the algorithm in the real teaching scene. © 2023 IEEE.
