The efficiency improving methods analyzing for the gasoil pump unit

In this article, the issues of improving the efficiency are considered. The aim of the work is to determine the benefits of using the PMSM-drive for the gasoil pump unit. Firstly, the object of study is selected. Secondly, the pump power consumption is analyzed. Then, energy optimization options are calculated. The method for determining power consumption parameters is a mathematical calculation. As a result, the object power characteristics are built. The pump energy consumption is calculated, the low efficiency of the pumping unit is determined. The efficiency may be increased by using PMSM-drive.

Biogas technology enables the processing of environmentally problematic wastes, renders them harmless and can be used in obtaining energy, is an important factor for renewable energy production. Although biogas, which is known as energy production method in the society, has an organic waste potential that can be evaluated in Turkey, it cannot be evaluated properly. Given the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change data, scientists estimate that global warming has caused a huge impact on health, environment and economy in the present century. In this sense, it is very important to analyze biogas-related data for certain regions. In this study, the potential of biogas production from cattle, small ruminants and poultry manure obtained from 2018 TUIK data of Mugla, Turkey was analyzed on a spatial basis. In addition, the equivalent values in terms of electricity, heat and coal obtained from biogas potential were obtained.

Individuals with walking disability, as a result of pathological conditions or traumas, show a reduction in left ventricle end diastolic volume (EDV). In fact EDV is closely related to the blood pressure gradient between the postcaval vein and the right atrium which, during locomotion, is partially due to the calf veins squeezing caused by the rhythmic contraction of the triceps surae and the crushing of the sole of the foot’s veins. In this study, a mechatronic device was applied to nineteen healthy voluntary participants’ lower limbs to test cardiodynamic response to a mechanical intermittent stimulation. The device consisted of inflatable bladders embedded in two shells and acting on the skin of the calf and foot of both legs. The pressure trend on the legs was regulated by a portable programmable logic controller. During the compression protocol to the legs, which involved some sequences of activation-deactivation following a peristaltic compression having a caudal-rostral trend, EDV, assessed by the impedance cardiography technique, increased of about 10% up the pre-test value. The legs compression protocol imposed by means of our pneumatic device might be useful to avoid the negative consequences for cardiovascular performance caused by de-conditioning status linked to walking disabilities. © 2017, Fuji Technology Press. Lorentz invariance is a fundamental symmetry of spacetime and foundational to modern physics. One of its most important consequences is the constancy of the speed of light. This invariance, together with the geometry of spacetime, implies that no particle can move faster than the speed of light. In this article, we present the most stringent neutrino-based test of this prediction, using the highest energy neutrino ever detected to date, KM3-230213A. On the 13th February 2023 the KM3NeT/ARCA telescope observed a track-like event compatible with a ultra-high-energy muon with an estimated energy of 120 PeV, produced by a neutrino with an even higher energy, making it the most energetic neutrino event ever detected. A diffuse cosmogenic component is expected to originate from the interactions of ultra-high-energy cosmic rays with ambient photon and matter fields. The flux level required by the KM3NeT/ARCA event is however in tension with the standard cosmogenic neutrino predictions based on the observations collected by the Pierre Auger Observatory and Telescope Array over the last decade of the ultra-high-energy cosmic rays above the ankle (hence from the local Universe, z 1). We show here that both observations can be reconciled by extending the integration of the equivalent cosmogenic neutrino flux up to a redshift of z 6 and assuming a subdominant fraction of protons in the ultra-high-energy cosmic-ray flux, thus placing constraints on known cosmic accelerators. © 2025, CC BY.

The KM3NeT experiment reported the detection of an ultra-high-energy neutrino with an energy estimate of ∼ 220 PeV, the most energetic yet observed. The neutrino arrival direction has a 99% confidence region of 3◦ radius centred at RA 94.3◦, Dec −7.8◦ (J2000). High-energy astrophysical neutrinos are a crucial messenger for understanding hadronic acceleration processes in the Universe and for identifying the origin of ultra-high-energy cosmic rays. Among the most powerful cosmic accelerators, blazars are proposed as promising neutrino sources. A sample of seventeen candidate blazars located in this region is selected through their multiwavelength properties, and studied using archival data and dedicated observations. One of the candidate counterparts exhibits a radio flare coinciding with the neutrino arrival time, with a pre-trial chance probability of 0.26%. Another candidate counterpart exhibits a rising trend in the X-ray flux in a one-year window around the neutrino arrival time. A third candidate undergoes a gamma-ray flare during the same period. While none of these candidates can conclusively be linked to the neutrino, the implications of a possible blazar origin for the KM3NeT event are discussed. Copyright © 2025, The Authors. Statistical and semi-dynamical road traffic noise models comparison with field measurements

The need for road traffic noise monitoring is growing in urban areas due to the growth of vehicles number and to the consequent increase of risk for human health. Noise measurements cannot be performed everywhere, or even in a large number of sites, because of high costs and time consumption. For this reasons, Road Traffic Noise predictive Models (RTNMs) can be implemented to estimate the noise levels at any distance, knowing certain parameters needed as input of the RTNM. In this paper, the main statistical RTNMs are presented, together with the implementation of two innovative and advanced models: the EU suggested model (CNOSSOS-EU) and a research model presented by Quartieri et al. (2010). These models will be compared with noise measurements performed in different sites and with different traffic conditions, in order to avoid bias from geometry or other features of the area under study. The main conclusion is that the application of innovative models and the inclusion of dynamical information about traffic flow, will lead to better results with respect to statistical models.

Fabrication of 3D Cu0.45Mn0.55O2 nanoflowers with novel photoluminescence and magnetic properties

In this study, three-dimensional Cu0.45Mn0.55O2 nanoflowers self-assembled by interconnecting dense stacked nanoplates have been synthesized by the template-free hydrothermal growth technique. The morphology, phase structure, and composition of the nanomaterial were analyzed by XRD, FESEM, TEM, HRTEM with SAED. FESEM and TEM, analyses point that the dimension of 3D Cu0.45Mn0.55O2 nanoflowers is in the range of 1–1.5 µm and the thickness of interconnected nanoplates is about 40 nm on the average. The photoluminescence spectra of the Cu0.45Mn0.55O2 nanostructures show distinguished emission bands found in red–violet spectral region. Additionaly, magnetic analysis showed the weak ferromagnetic behavior of Cu0.45Mn0.55O2 nanoflowers and presented for the first time using vibrating sample magnetometer.

The simulation of shockwave lithotripsy

Technology aims to raise living standards and provide a healthier life within the boundaries of reach. Surgical operations decreased with the use of physiological medical field, and anesthesia-free treatments gave positive results. The ultrasound is located in a wide range of applications for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes. One of them is shock wave lithotripsy used for treatment. The shock wave can be used to deliver the lithotripsy ultrasound from a source to separate small pieces of kidney stones and allow them to fall through the urinary tract. In this study, modeling of shock wave lithotripsy has been modeled. The shock wave in the model has been spread over the boxes on an imaginary grid. Energy, velocity and pressure changes have been kept at limit values.
