The livestock market in Indonesia is still categorized as a traditional market due to the absence of the standard price and/or open sale. One recommendation that can be applied to livestock market is the application of weighing and management of livestock data, i.e. digital weighing system and cage structure with automatic door that can be opened and closed automatically. The proposed system is a cage that consists of digital scale based on single bending beam load cell with dimension 160cm x 80cm x 120cm. It has a sliding door driven automatically by DC motor. The livestock to be weighed is detected by the LDR-laser system which would notify the Mega 2560 arduino microcontroller to command the DC motor at the entrance and the exit spaces to open/close the door. The weighing results are displayed in LCD screen. The digital livestock scale could weigh linearly in the range of 0-440 kilograms with an average error of 0.265% and could measure a maximum weight of 620 kilograms.

Central Java has the largest teak land area in Java Island. It is about two-thirds of teak land area on Java Island is located in Central Java. The purpose of this study is to determine the classification of factors that influence the production of teak trees in Central Java with the Commercial Version 5.0 (C5.0) algorithm. This algorithm is a refinement of the ID3 and C4.5 algorithms. The C5.0 algorithm works by separating samples based on attributes that have the highest information gain. The results of the study show that there are three classification rules produced with an 81.8% accuracy rate.

Bisindo or Bahasa Isyarat Indonesia is one of sign language methods in Indonesia, besides SIBI or Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia. Generally, Bisindo is used by deaf people in their daily communication. Deaf people tend to have barriers to communicate with others. Yet, in the educational realm, some of them still have high spirit to continue their education until university. So, they must improve their abilities or competences in communicating with others and try to get information from around the world, for example using sophisticated technology with sign language. Information system of sign language learning is important to help deaf and heard people who want to understand the deaf conversation meaning. Bisindo information system is in website form that is built by PHP, MySQL, and sublime text 3. Based on the black box method, the Bisindo information system can run well. The results of the trial to the user describe that the maximum percentage for each level of testing is above 50% except for testing of conformity with the needs of deaf only at maximum of 42%. The Bisindo information system still has weakness, but it already gives benefits especially for deaf people in Indonesia.

This study measured SO2 in ambient at Kalimati Village, Kalasan, Sleman, Yogyakarta near urban traffic and plywood industry. The research used two sampling locations on the morning and afternoon during December 2017 and employed pararosanilin method with spectrophotometric based on Indonesia National Standard (SNI 71119-7:2005). In addition, the average results showed 40.13 µg/m3 which was at the below Limit Value (LV) of SO2 as 900 µg/m3.

Aluminium casting is often done, but for the casting of composite materials base on aluminium is very rare. The purpose of this research is make composite material based on aluminium reinforced by SiC particles by casting. This research method use three different casting molds that are permanent cast, ceramic (chamotte sand / Al2O3-SiO2) molds and sand molds. The best casting product that has a small porosity is the AlMg10Si make of permanent molding. The small porosity effect causes the AlMg10Si material to become harder. The oxy-acetylene welding results show that the AlMg10Si + composite material reinforced by 15% SiC particles, has a fine discontinuity when the liquid penetrant test, which means that very small cracks occur, and potholes result from casting. This composite material has enormous energy to break is 0.94 Joule at impact test.

Domestic wastewater effluent is the main contributor to diverse water pollution problems. The contaminants contained in the wastewater lead the low quality of water. The presence of ammonium and nitrate along with phosphorus are potentially cause eutrophication and endanger aquatic life. Excess nutrients, mostly N and P is the main cause of eutrophication which is result in oxygen depletion, biodiversity reduction, fish kills, odor and increased toxicity. Most of the domestic wastewater in Surabaya City still contains nitrogen that exceeded the threshold. The range of ammonium and orthophosphate concentration in the domestic wastewater is between 6.29 mg/L – 38.91 mg/L and 0.44 mg/L – 1.86 mg/L, respectively. An advance biological nitrogen removal process called anammox is a sustainable and cost effective alternative to the basic method of nitrogen removal, such as nitrification and denitrification. Many research have been conducted through anammox and resulted promisingly way to remove nitrogen. In this process, ammonium will be oxidized with nitrite as an electron acceptor to produce nitrogen gas and low nitrate in anoxic condition. Anammox requires less oxygen demand, no needs external carbon source, and low operational cost. Based on its advantages, anammox is possible to apply in domestic wastewater treatment in Surabaya with many further studies.

One of the causes of open defecation (OD) is low awareness of local community towards open defecation free behavior. This community does not have a healthy toilet and usually defecate in the river. This poor environment is coupled with poverty and small footprint. Therefore, the *** methods should be modified by including the finance concept in form of stimulant funds to accelerate ODF targets by using appropriate technology for land limitations. The construction of healthy toilet in Kelurahan Kebonsari, Jambangan sub-district, was conducted in RW2 which consisted of RT 6 (4 units) and RT 7 (1 unit) and 2 units in RT 2 of RW 3. Construction was initiated with focus group discussion and indepth interview to locate the proper location to be triggered. Healthy toilet construction was conducted in cooperation among self-help community, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), and the community itself. Every month the users had to pay the toilet construction (capacity of 0.75 m3) of IDR 100,000 for 10 months. Therefore, with this healthy toilet construction, KelurahanKebonsari becomes one of ODF village in Surabaya City.

In this paper we discuss how to get the robust counterpart for the spatial optimization model for water supply allocation (SOMWSA) problem that is proposed by [6]. We employ the robust counterpart methodology that is proposed by Ben-Tal and Nemirovskii [2] also use the new paradigm of robust counterpart methodology of den Hertog et al. [4]. To this end, first we define the uncertain family class of SOMWSA and derive the robust version of the uncertain problem. We assume that there are two uncertain data in SOMWSA problem, ie., the total population and the water demand in a region i at time t. Since the tractability of the problem is very important in Robust Optimization, we discuss three types of uncertainty set, i.e., box, ellipsoidal and polyhedral uncertainty set.
