This work discusses the predefined performance tracking control issue of a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft system. By using the designed control performance function, the constrained error signal of the aircraft system can be switched into an equivalent unconstrained signal. Moreover, fuzzy logic systems are introduced to cope with the aircraft system's unknown nonlinear dynamics. And then, adaptive fuzzy sliding control laws are designed by combining the fuzzy control method with the sliding mode control technique. Based on the designed control law, it is not only ensured that the outputs of the VTOL aircraft system can track the desired trajectories, but also that the tracking errors are constrained within a predefined range. Finally, the availability of proposed control method is testified through simulation example. © 2023 IEEE.

Aiming at the problem that visual SLAM algorithms have difficulty in rejecting occluded dynamic objects in dynamic environments, proposed a Dual Attention semantic Segmentation algorithm for visual SLAM (DAS-SLAM). The algorithm enhances feature extraction by improving the deep backbone network, and introduces spatial attention mechanism and channel attention mechanism to build the scene semantic dependency of features to accurately identify occluded objects. The region marked by the instance segmentation uses a combination of multi-view geometry and dynamic thresholding to determine the motion state of objects in the region, eliminating the influence of dynamic targets in the scene on SLAM localization accuracy. The results show that the rootmean-square error of the trajectory of the algorithm is reduced by 36% compared with the DS-SLAM algorithm, which effectively improves the accuracy of camera pose estimation and map construction and demonstrates more robustness. © 2022 IEEE.

Image feature extraction and matching is an essential work in computer image processing. This technique aligns two or more images of the same scene obtained by different sensors under different or the same imaging conditions to determine the relationship between them. Based on the SURF algorithm, this paper adopts the local two-dimensional entropy to improve the uniqueness of the extracted feature points. Then the Euclidean distance in the traditional algorithm is changed to the Manhattan distance, and the distance evaluation function is introduced for pre-processing. Finally, the particle swarm algorithm is applied to optimize the feature point matching process. Through theoretical analysis and experimental contrast, the improved SURF algorithm has significantly improved both matching speed and accuracy, demonstrating the algorithm's reliability and effectiveness. © 2022 IEEE.

As the core equipment of the energy Internet, energy routers (ERs) can optimize energy transmission and energy scheduling in time and space, thereby improving the transmission efficiency and stability of the multi-source power network. This paper establishes a graph model of the energy transmission network based on the topological structure of energy routing. Long and short-term memory (LSTM) is introduced to predict the congestion of ERs. As a result, an energy routing optimization strategy based on LSTM for real-time congestion prediction is proposed by considering the factors of congestion and transmission loss. Then Dijkstra algorithm is applied to determine the best path for energy transmission. Finally, numerical simulation verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the energy routing optimization strategy proposed in this paper. © 2022 IEEE.

Deep learning models rely heavily on large amounts of data for training. This paper proposes a virtual sample generation technique (VSG) aimed at addressing the problem of few-shot object detection in the industrial field. The technique first obtains a new sample dataset by performing operations such as image rotation, cropping, and splicing on the original samples, and then generates a virtual sample dataset through CycleGAN to expand the sample dataset of industrial components, thus improving the performance of deep learning object detection networks. Finally, experiments are conducted and compared on YOLOv3 and YOLOv5. The mean average precision (mAP) obtained by this method is 2.3% and 2.4% higher than the two benchmark networks, respectively. The experimental results show that the proposed virtual sample generation technique for few-shot object detection in the industrial field is feasible, effective, and practical value. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Due to the long-term relatively fixed state of industrial installations, the diversity of industrial data is low, with high repetitiveness and uneven distribution, which makes industrial few-shot object detection still challenging. Therefore, from the perspective of handling the dataset, this paper proposes a virtual sample generation method based on virtual reality. Firstly, by using a virtual engine, the target workpiece model is created to directly simulate the states of the workpieces captured by the visual system in various environments. Secondly, random algorithms are added and improved to simulate workpieces with different materials and degrees of wear, distributed in random positions with different poses and types in the visual system, thereby generating virtual samples containing workpieces. Finally, virtual samples are introduced for experimental testing in the target detection network. The proposed method is tested in both YOLOv5 and YOLOv7 and compared with datasets without virtual samples, resulting in an improvement of 3.06% and 2.23% in mAP values, respectively. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method effectively improves the issue of industrial small-sample object detection. © 2023 IEEE.

In mobile robot navigation, the design of path planning algorithms is a key issue, because the fast and efficient work of mobile robots must rely on reasonable and reliable path planning algorithms. The ant colony method is used to study the path planning of mobile robots in this work. The mathematical model of various ant colony method parameters has been updated and optimized. The direction guiding factor is introduced to avoid the blindness of the traditional ant colony algorithm. An adaptive pheromone updating rule was proposed to improve the disadvantages of the traditional ant colony algorithm, which is easy to fall into premature and outputs local optimum. The adaptive adjustment pheromone volatile factor is adaptively to make the algorithm level more distinct, highlight the task focus of each stage, and consider the quality and efficiency of the path planning. Finally, complex and open environment maps are designed, and simulation experiments are carried out to verify the advance of the improved algorithm in the path planning distance and convergence speed. © 2022 IEEE.

The bidirectional converter is at the core of the hybrid microgrid, and it plays the role of power between two subnets. In order to realize the power flow and balance between two subnets, a power control strategy for hybrid microgrid is proposed. First, this paper analyzes the droop characteristics of the microgrid under low-voltage conditions, introduces the difference in voltage fluctuations between two subnets, designs the power mutual assistance target coefficient, and proposes a power control strategy. To overcome the shortcomings of many parameters, slow convergence speed, and poor separation accuracy in applying traditional swarm intelligence algorithm in blind source separation, a Firefly Algorithm integrating Refracted and Elite Opposition-based learning is proposed. The proposed algorithm enhances the global search ability of the original algorithm, improves the population diversity, and accelerates the convergence speed. The simulation results show that in the Blind Source Separation, the similarity coefficients of the separated signals obtained by the proposed algorithm are all above 0.99. © 2022 IEEE.

By right of the load transferability and energy storage characteristics of electric vehicles, the energy consumption period of users can be guided to change by dynamic time-of-use (DTOU) price, Further improvement of the charging and discharging power of EVs. Simultaneously, the load peak-valley deviation can be decreased by DTOU price, which increases the wind power consumption as well. Then the DTOU price model is established in this paper, with the proposed start-stop control strategy of electric vehicles. Regarding the minimum system cost and carbon emissions as the objective functions, a multi-objective optimal scheduling model is generated. By means of comparing the operation results of three scenarios, it is shown that the realization of coordinated scheduling, increase of wind power consumption, reduction of total operation cost and carbon emissions as well as enhancement of system operation economy can be completed by the proposed strategy. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
