The problem of ensuring economic security in the field of development and production of intelligent on-board systems is considered by choosing the optimal set of operations and measures of an organizational and technological nature, identifying and analyzing the cause-and-effect nature of threats and choosing adequate measures to counter them according to the criterion of optimal expected costs or maximum security with restrictions in the form of given allowable costs for them. Its solution is proposed by machine learning methods and evolutionary optimization algorithms.

The main trends in the development of cloud computing architectures are considered. It is shown that the relevance of the scientific problem of ensuring interoperability in heterogeneous cloud computing is increasing. One of the ways to solve the problem of ensuring interoperability is standardization. The international and traditional scientific groundwork for ensuring interoperability is given. It is proposed, taking into account international works and traditional approach (organizational, semantic and technical levels), to search for and localize interoperability barriers, to calculate the interoperability indicator. The main algorithms for searching and localizing interoperability barriers for subsequent implementation in software are presented. The software layout allows you to calculate the interoperability index for three levels - technical, semantic, organizational. As an example of the practical application of the considered approach to managing interoperability, the subject area of e-health is proposed, which uses, among other things, cloud technologies.

The cognitive mechanisms underlying language conceptualization can be revealed using the notion of a semantic shift, understood as the association of two distinct linguistic meanings in the form of synchronic polysemy, diachronic semantic evolution, cognates and some others. The data collected in the "Database of semantic shifts in languages of the world" (*** ) allows us to conclude that the linguistic meaning of visual perception serves as the source for the denotation of all the basic mental states, i.e. knowledge, understanding, belief, expectation and intention, as well as of some complex meanings which include mental and actional components. The paper discusses three cognitive mechanisms of semantic shifts in the domain of visual perception, namely the "metaphorical", "inferential" and "metonymical" ones. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Detecting symmetrical properties is a fundamental task in 3D shape analysis. In the case of a 3D model with planar symmetries, each point has a corresponding mirror point w.r.t. a symmetry plane, and the correspondences remain invariant under any arbitrary Euclidean transformation. Our proposed method, E3Sym, aims to detect planar reflective symmetry in an unsupervised and end-to-end manner by leveraging E(3) invariance. E3Sym establishes robust point correspondences through the use of E(3) invariant features extracted from a lightweight neural network, from which the dense symmetry prediction is produced. We also introduce a novel and efficient clustering algorithm to aggregate the dense prediction and produce a detected symmetry set, allowing for the detection of an arbitrary number of planar symmetries while ensuring the method remains differentiable for end-to-end training. Our method also possesses the ability to infer reasonable planar symmetries from incomplete shapes, which remains challenging for existing methods. Extensive experiments demonstrate that E3Sym is both effective and robust, outperforming state-of-the-art methods.

Self-timed circuits have a number of advantages over synchronous counterparts. They are hazard-free under any conditions, and delay insensitive (their behavior does not depend on the cell’s delays). They also detect any permanent fault. However, two-phase discipline (working state and spacer one) and obligatory indication subcircuit lead to some redundancy in ST circuit hardware. Practical ST circuit characteristics depend on the effectiveness of architectural, algorithmic and circuit solutions used during their design. This paper proposes and analyzes circuit solutions for the ST register implementations storing intermediate data. It discusses the implementation peculiarities of the ST storage register variants used in the ST pipeline and gives recommendations on their application. The paper proves that ST storage registers on Muller’s C-elements have the best parameters compared with the register’s implementations on RS-latch and RS-flip-flop. It is 1.5 – 2.1 times simpler than other possible implementations. Besides, it is invariant to the input spacer type up to the indication cell type.

The purpose of this work is to study the need for the use and methods of implementing technical systems that allow automatic assessment of the electrostatic situation and seismic activity during rescue operations using groups of mobile robots in natural disaster zones. The authors consider the principles of operation and technical implementation of a hybrid monitoring system, one of the components of which is made on the basis of an electrostatic flux meter and allows, in real time over a local time period, to predict the approach and evaluate the intensity of the observed lightning event, based on counting the number of recorded lightning discharge signals and the degree of change their amplitudes per unit time. The seismic component of the hybrid monitoring system under consideration is created on the basis of an infrasonic sensor made using a MEMS microphone, structurally placed inside an acoustic Helmholtz resonator. In this work, the authors present the results of tests of a prototype of the described system, developed and implemented in the robotics laboratory of Gorno-Altaysk State University. The work also presents the results of measurement experiments carried out at the university test site, provides and analyzes examples of signals of variations in the strength of the atmospheric electric field during thunderstorm events and acoustic emission signals recorded in the upper part of the infrasound range at times of increased seismic activity. © 2024 IEEE.

eShadow is a digital storytelling platform inspired by traditional Shadow Theatre. It enables the creation of digital stories within a project-based approach that may start from scenario development and include the creation of digital puppets and sceneries, the set-up and recording of story scenes and the final assembly of a digital story. This paper presents how eShadow can be enhanced to solve the problem of creating mixed reality installations to offer rich learning experiences in informal learning settings. This enhanced version is eShadow+ and it is evaluated via two installations which are described and compared. The evaluation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach thus offering new learning opportunities that are aligned with current trends in the use of mixed reality technologies. © 2022 IEEE.

Recently, some span-based methods have achieved encouraging performances for joint aspect-sentiment analysis, which first extract aspects (aspect extraction) by detecting aspect boundaries and then classify the span-level sentiments (sentiment classification). However, most existing approaches either sequentially extract task-specific features, leading to insufficient feature interactions, or they encode aspect features and sentiment features in a parallel manner, implying that feature representation in each task is largely independent of each other except for input sharing. Both of them ignore the internal correlations between the aspect extraction and sentiment classification. To solve this problem, we novelly propose a hierarchical interactive network (HI-ASA) to model two-way interactions between two tasks appropriately, where the hierarchical interactions involve two steps: shallow-level interaction and deep-level interaction. First, we utilize cross-stitch mechanism to combine the different task-specific features selectively as the input to ensure proper two-way interactions. Second, the mutual information technique is applied to mutually constrain learning between two tasks in the output layer, thus the aspect input and the sentiment input are capable of encoding features of the other task via back-propagation. Extensive experiments on three real-world datasets demonstrate HI-ASA’s superiority over baselines © 2022 Proceedings - International Conference on Computational Linguistics, COLING. The discovery and identification of molecules in biological and environmental samples is crucial for advancing biomedical and chemical sciences. Tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) is the leading technique for high-throughput elucidation of molecular structures. However, decoding a molecular structure from its mass spectrum is exceptionally challenging, even when performed by human experts. As a result, the vast majority of acquired MS/MS spectra remain uninterpreted, thereby limiting our understanding of the underlying (bio)chemical processes. Despite decades of progress in machine learning applications for predicting molecular structures from MS/MS spectra, the development of new methods is severely hindered by the lack of standard datasets and evaluation protocols. To address this problem, we propose MassSpecGym - the first comprehensive benchmark for the discovery and identification of molecules from MS/MS data. Our benchmark comprises the largest publicly available collection of high-quality labeled MS/MS spectra and defines three MS/MS annotation challenges: de novo molecular structure generation, molecule retrieval, and spectrum simulation. It includes new evaluation metrics and a generalization-demanding data split, therefore standardizing the MS/MS annotation tasks and rendering the problem accessible to the broad machine learning community. Abstract structures of rectangular lattice with various edge conditions and neighborhoods play a key role in telecommunications, computing, nanotechnologies, and biological systems. For modeling rectangular structures, an infinite Petri net model has been developed and investigated. Based on the parametric specification of rectangular lattice models, an infinite system of linear homogenous equations has been derived. Using the earlier developed algorithm, a parametric solution of the system has been obtained, the solution contains all the positive components. Thus, the model is a p-invariant Petri net for any given size of square lattice. Consequently, we can use storage elements of limited capacity for practical implementations of a rectangular lattice structure. © 2020 IEEE.
