Research area - control systems of robotic systems, organizational-cognitive and organizational-information processes in their life cycle. The problem of increasing the stability of reproduction of data transmission processes through control channels is investigated. Innovative method, model and technical solutions for supporting processes are presented. They are based on a semantic model of knowledge about objects of support and objects of counteracting processes, which in the observed period are sources of negative influence on the reproduction of processes in data transmission paths.

Traditional statistical methods of analysis of small samples produce many "false alarms" and a possibility to miss searched information with a high probability. The paper presents formal arguments about the cause of this problem. When finite probability spaces are considered, it becomes possible to use theory of bans and to solve the problem of small samples. In the model of this theory all probabilities of "false alarms" are equal to zero. At the same time in many cases it is possible to prove either the consistency of the sequence of criteria, or the correct acceptance of the alternative with probability 1 on a finite step. Bans of probability measures in finite probability spaces considerably simplify the identification of samples with the probability distributions which differ from supposed distributions. The simplest models of small samples in finite probability spaces are considered. Partially these models were used in control systems for search of a malicious insider in a big communities of users. The generalization of this research is the introduction of multiple information spaces. This paper describes the usage of bans in the model of small samples from two information spaces. The finiteness of probability spaces allows to expand a set of possible models. The models considered in the paper far do not exhaust a class of possible generalizations. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2019.

Understanding how biological visual systems process information is challenging because of the nonlinear relationship between visual input and neuronal responses. Artificial neural networks allow computational neuroscientists to create predictive models that connect biological and machine vision. Machine learning has benefited tremendously from benchmarks that compare different model on the same task under standardized conditions. However, there was no standardized benchmark to identify state-of-the-art dynamic models of the mouse visual system. To address this gap, we established the SENSORIUM 2023 Benchmark Competition with dynamic input, featuring a new large-scale dataset from the primary visual cortex of ten mice. This dataset includes responses from 78,853 neurons to 2 hours of dynamic stimuli per neuron, together with the behavioral measurements such as running speed, pupil dilation, and eye movements. The competition ranked models in two tracks based on predictive performance for neuronal responses on a held-out test set: one focusing on predicting in-domain natural stimuli and another on out-of-distribution (OOD) stimuli to assess model generalization. As part of the NeurIPS 2023 competition track, we received more than 160 model submissions from 22 teams. Several new architectures for predictive models were proposed, and the winning teams improved the previous state-of-the-art model by 50%. An extended framework for ensuring interoperability of functional systems as part of an integrated management system is considered. In the development of the main ways to integrate heterogeneous functional systems based on information-centric and service-oriented solutions provides advanced process-oriented approach based on the identication of the full group of processes in a life cycle integrated management systems, including institutional, organizational and resource (decompositum at the process level management information, cognitive, and technological resources) and technological processes. Target processes (main and supporting) and counteracting processes in the life cycle of management systems are considered. The process framework for ensuring the lifecycle of an integrated management system is presented in the most complete form, which allows you to take into account vulnerabilities while ensuring the interoperability of its elements. Multi-aspect directions of interaction of processes in the life cycle of an integrated system as a high-tech object of development determines the features of ensuring interoperability within an integrated management system. It is shown that the application of a process-oriented approach to the creation of integrated systems will require clarification of the relationship “system creation strategy - system structure” in terms of positioning processes in relation to the strategy and structure of the integrated management system. The process aspects are considered when justifying its General structure. From the point of view of justification of complete groups of processes in the life cycle of integrated management systems in relation to target and counteracting processes, a typical approach is proposed based on an identical decomposition of processes. Usually security of information flows is supported by Firewalls, Proxy servers, Intrusion Detection Systems. These mechanisms work when there can be malicious information flows. The paper presents the new security mechanism which can be used instead of traditional measures. This is due to the strong limitation of the existence of non needed information flows. The main objective of our method is the prevention of interactions which are initiated by a malicious code. For the solution of this problem it is offered to define legal communications by meta data. The review of the results connected with the usage of the method of meta data for creation of an authorization system of connections in a distributed information system and, in particular, in information systems on the basis of SDN is provided in the paper. It is shown that the found vulnerabilities can be compensated by means of an expansion of the functionality of controlling tasks N and M, and by cryptography. Using the fact that meta data reflect a reduced model of relationships of cause and effect in information technologies it is possible to solve an inverse problem connected with localization of failures and errors in data. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2019.

HyperMask: Adaptive hypernetwork-based masks for continual learning

Artificial neural networks suffer from catastrophic forgetting when they are sequentially trained on multiple tasks. Many continual learning (CL) strategies are trying to overcome this problem. One of the most effective is the hypernetwork-based approach. The hypernetwork generates the weights of a target model based on the task’s identity. The model’s main limitation is that, in practice, the hypernetwork can produce completely different architectures for subsequent tasks. To solve such a problem, we use the lottery ticket hypothesis, which postulates the existence of sparse subnetworks, named winning tickets, that preserve the performance of a whole network. In the paper, we propose a method called HyperMask, which dynamically filters a target network depending on the CL task. The hypernetwork produces semi-binary masks to obtain dedicated target subnetworks. Moreover, due to the lottery ticket hypothesis, we can use a single network with weighted subnets. Depending on the task, the significance of certain weights may be dynamically enhanced, while others may be diminished. HyperMask achieves competitive results in several CL datasets and, in some scenarios, goes beyond the state-of-the-art scores, both with derived and unknown task identities.

We examine the teleparallel formulation of nonminimally coupled scalar Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity. In the teleparallel formulation, gravity is described by torsion instead of curvature, causing the usual Gauss-Bonnet invariant expressed through curvature to decay into two separate invariants built from torsion. Consequently, the teleparallel formulation permits broader possibilities for nonminimal couplings between spacetime geometry and the scalar field. In our teleparallel theory, there are two different branches of equations in spherical symmetry depending on how one solves the antisymmetric part of the field equations, leading to a real and a complex tetrad. We first show that the real tetrad seems to be incompatible with the regularity of the equations at the event horizon, which is a symptom that scalarized black hole solutions beyond the Riemannian Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet theory might not exist. Therefore, we concentrate our study on the complex tetrad. This leads to the emergence of scalarized black hole solutions, where the torsion acts as the scalar field source. Extending our previous work, we study monomial nonminimal couplings of degrees 1 and 2, which are intensively studied in conventional, curvature-based, scalar Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity. We discover that the inclusion of torsion can potentially alter the stability of the resulting scalarized black holes. Specifically, our findings indicate that for a quadratic coupling, which is entirely unstable in the pure curvature formulation, the solutions induced by torsion may exhibit stability within certain regions of the parameter space. In a limiting case, we were also able to find black holes with a strong scalar field close to the horizon but with a vanishing scalar charge.

Cloud service providers (CSP) provide on-demand cloud computing services, reduces the cost of setting-up and scaling-up IT infrastructure and services, and stimulates shorter establishment times for start-ups that offer or use cloud-based services. Task reneging or dropping sometimes occur when a task waits in the queue longer than its timeout or execution deadline, or it is compromised and must be dropped from the queue or as an active queue management strategy to avoid tail dropping of tasks when the queues are full. Reneged or dropped tasks could be resubmitted provided they were not dropped due to security reasons. In this paper, we present a simple M/M/c/N queueing model of a cloud computing physical machine, where the interarrival times and the services times are exponentially distributed, with N buffer size and c virtual machines running in parallel. We present numerical examples to illustrate the effect of task reneging and task resubmission on the queueing delay, probability of task rejection, and the probability of immediate service. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2020.

Signal partitioning or signal segmentation allows to perform data classification, prediction of signals’ behavior, and profound interpretation of obtained data. In accordance with the signal model some distribution characteristics of the window variance noise component are investigated. It was shown that when all true underlying signal components remain unchanged, the window variance noise component is gamma distributed. Applying window variance to multicomponent signal (i.e., pharmacokinetic curve), it was shown that the window variance allows to split visually the signal record into phases due to prevalent processes. © 2019, Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.

Lagrangian submanifolds, a class of Riemannian submanifolds that arose naturally in the context of Hamiltonian mechanics, play an important role in some modern theories of physics. In this paper, using an optimization technique on submanifolds immersed in Riemannian manifolds, we first obtain some sharp inequalities for δ-Casorati curvature invariants of Lagrangian submanifolds in quaternionic space forms, i.e. quaternionic Kähler manifolds of constant q-sectional curvature. Then we show that in the class of Lagrangian submanifolds in quaternionic space forms, there are only two subclasses of ideal Casorati submanifolds, namely the family of totally geodesic submanifolds and a particular subfamily of H-umbilical submanifolds. Finally, we provide some examples to illustrate the obtained results. In particular, we point out that an entire family of ideal Casorati Lagrangian submanifolds can be constructed using the concept of quaternionic extensor introduced by Oh and Kang in the early 2000s. © 2023, The Author(s) under exclusive licence to The Royal academy of sciences, Madrid.
