Thermal insulation materials play an increasingly important role in protecting mechanical parts functioning at high *** this study,a new porous high-entropy(La_(1/6)Ce_(1/6)Pr_(1/6)Sm_(1/6)Eu_(1/6)Gd_(1/6))PO_(4)(HE(6RE_(1/6))PO_(4))ceramics was prepared by combining the high-entropy method with the pore-forming agent method and the effect of different starch contents(0–60vol%)on this ceramic properties was systematically *** results show that the porous HE(6RE_(1/6))PO_(4)ceramics with 60vol%starch exhibit the lowest thermal conductivity of 0.061 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)at room temperature and good pore structure stability with a linear shrinkage of approximately1.67%.Moreover,the effect of large regular spherical pores(>10μm)on its thermal insulation performance was discussed,and an optimal thermal conductivity prediction model was *** superior properties of the prepared porous HE(6RE_(1/6))PO_(4)ceramics allow them to be promising insulation materials in the future.

Processing police incident data in public security involves complex natural language processing(NLP)tasks,including information *** data contains extensive entity information—such as people,locations,and events—while also involving reasoning tasks like personnel classification,relationship judgment,and implicit ***,utilizing models for extracting information from police incident data poses a significant challenge—data scarcity,which limits the effectiveness of traditional rule-based and machine-learning *** address these,we propose *** collaboration with public security experts,we used de-identified police incident data to create templates that enable large language models(LLMs)to populate data slots and generate simulated data,enhancing data density and *** then designed schemas to efficiently manage complex extraction and reasoning tasks,constructing a high-quality dataset and fine-tuning multiple open-source *** showed that the fine-tuned ChatGLM-4-9B model achieved an F1 score of 87.14%,nearly 30%higher than the base model,significantly reducing error *** corrections further improved performance by 9.39%.This study demonstrates that combining largescale pre-trained models with limited high-quality domain-specific data can greatly enhance information extraction in low-resource environments,offering a new approach for intelligent public security applications.

Dissolved organic matter(DOM)participates in and affects many biological processes in aquatic ecosystems,altering nutrient cycling,bioavailability and toxicity of *** water contains thousands of DOM molecules,which largely originate from natural sources and are greatly influenced by external inputs through anthropogenic *** elucidate the shaping mechanism of the DOM composition under complex habitat conditions and anthropogenic disturbances,the characteristic molecular fingerprint of DOM was determined based on chemodiversity information obtained via ultrahigh-resolution mass spectrometry for the Baiyangdian wetland(a typical large macrophytic shallow lake in North China).In the Baiyangdian wetland,the DOM composition exhibited high complexity and spatial heterogeneity,and more recalcitrant DOM molecules were identified in summer than in *** multiple natural factors(nutrient concentration,depth of water and quality of submerged macrophytes)and anthropogenic factors(different land uses and discharge of pollutants)were associated with the relative abundance of various DOM molecules,only the influences from the anthropogenic factors were statistically *** alpha diversity index of DOM could reflect variations in both the natural factors(total dissolved phosphorus)and the anthropogenic factors(discharge of nitrogen and phosphorus).Furthermore,the DOM composition in each group were clustered according to the ecological functions(natural reserves,tourism,breeding,and domestic supply functions),and exhibited molecular fingerprint *** study provides an effective approach to characterize the molecular fingerprint features of DOM and critical information to better understand the shaping mechanism of the DOM composition under complex habitat conditions and anthropogenic disturbances.

As industrial plants seek to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions in line with climate change mitigation strategies, the implementation of DC microgrids presents a promising solution. This study investigates the potential of DC microgrids to enhance energy efficiency and facilitate the integration of renewable energy resources, particularly solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, in industrial settings. The research focuses on the advantages of DC microgrids over traditional AC systems, specifically in reducing the number of conversion stages required for system design. A case study of an ethylene plant is presented to illustrate the benefits of implementing a DC microgrid in an industrial environment. The study employs ETAP and PVsyst software for analysis and simulations. Results demonstrate that the adoption of a DC microgrid leads to a significant reduction in conversion losses, resulting in enhancing the overall system efficiency by 9.5%. Furthermore, The DC microgrid enhanced the benefits of integrating the same PV capacity, reducing grid energy consumption and carbon emissions by 20.5% compared to the AC microgrid. The findings have important implications for industrial energy management and sustainable manufacturing practices in the context of global efforts to combat climate change. © 2024 IEEE.

Laplacian dynamics on signed digraphs have a richer behavior than those on nonnegative digraphs. In particular, for the so-called 'repelling' signed Laplacians, the marginal stability property (needed to achieve consensus) is not guaranteed a priori and, even when it holds, it does not automatically lead to consensus, as these signed Laplacians may lose rank even in strongly connected digraphs. Furthermore, in the time-varying case, instability can occur even when switching in a family of systems each of which corresponds to a marginally stable signed Laplacian with the correct corank. In this article, we present novel conditions for achieving consensus on signed digraphs based on the property of eventual positivity, a Perron-Frobenius (PF) type of property for signed matrices. The conditions we develop cover both time-invariant and time-varying cases. A particularly simple sufficient condition, valid in both cases, is that the Laplacians are normal matrices. Such condition can be relaxed in several ways. For instance, in the time-invariant case it is enough that the Laplacian has this PF property on the right side, but not on the left side (i.e., on the transpose). For the time-varying case, convergence to consensus can be guaranteed by the existence of a common Lyapunov function for all the signed Laplacians. All conditions can be easily extended to bipartite consensus. © 1963-2012 IEEE.

The Prosthetic hand plays an important role in rehabilitation as a considered type of advanced medical technology designed to enable individuals who have lost hand due to wars, accidents, or medical conditions. It enables amputees to manage daily activities such as writing, typing, grasping object and doing specific needs, to stay independent. Motors in prosthetic devices are designed to deliver precise control over both positioning and torque, which are crucial for tasks ranging from basic gripping to more intricate movements. In a standard prosthetic hand, servo motors work in tandem with sensors that pick-up muscle signals from the remaining part of the limb or from external controllers. This setup allows users to operate the prosthesis in a natural, intuitive way. Additionally, the feedback systems in these servo motors enable the prosthetic hand to adjust its grip strength automatically, depending on the object being held, which improves both the user's experience and safety This paper targets a comparative study between different control methodologies to select the best controller for controlling prosthetic hand. The optimal selection should be targeted for smooth moving without overshoot, minimum sharp curve, and minimum delay time The mathematical modelling for prosthetic hands is progressed in the form of a second order transfer function. This paper represent result depend on practical experiment using sensors, servo motor, and Arduino then applied two different control methodologies which are applied to the system are, intelligent Proportional -Integral- Derivative (PID) controller and adaptive fuzzy -PID controller. The adaptive fuzzy- PID controller shows the best results compared to the results of the other controllers. © 2024 IEEE.
