Cross-layer in MIMO-OFDM System with Adaptive Modulation and Coding:Design and Analysis

The queuing performance of the cross-layer system with Space-time block code(STBC) over Multiinput-multi-output(MIMO) channel is analyzed. The Adaptive modulation and coding(AMC) in physical layer and finite length of buffer in data-link layer are combined with this model. A simple cross-layer design and the queue state process are proposed based on finite state Markov channel model, which is to solve the service process. The proposed cross-layer design is also incorporated with STBC to further improve the system performance. Simulation results illustrate the dependence of system performance on various parameters, and quantify the performance gain due to cross-layer optimization. The adjustment of target packet loss rate of adaptive modulation coding in physical layer can maximize average throughput of the system,meanwhile a significant improvement of the system performance is brought.

The conventional Mie-scattering calculation has been widely used for spherical particles existed in a vacuum and homogeneous nonabsorbing medium. The paper investigates the radiative properties of particles existed in absorbing medium, including light absorption, extinction efficiencies, scattering efficiencies and so on. This study presents milk fat globule in ethyl acetate solution (EAS) and monoethanolamine (MEA) solution including their complex refractive index. The complex refractive index of milk fat globules at 20 °C was measured at 633 nm and was calculated to be 1.46+0.000005i, the complex refractive of EAS was measured at 633nm and was separately calculated to be 1.476 + 0.0005583169i. We considered the calculation difference of the efficiency factors by comparing results from inherent efficiencies and apparent efficiencies of milk fat globule in absorbing medium by simulation in MATALAB. By simulation it is proved that the light scattering by globules is affected by absorbing medium, so modifying Mie scattering calculation is necessary.

In the surface measurement system, the data acquisition is key part and the anti-aliasing analog filter is necessary. This paper deals with the design of the anti-aliasing analog filter. Based on the principle of anti-aliasing filtering, the parameters of filter are computed, the filter circuit is designed, and the frequency characteristic is drawn. Combined with digital filter, the filtering can maintain the low frequency components very well and suppress effectively the high frequency signals in the original surface profile, which reduces the distortion caused by noise and makes the filtering effect better. This method has been applied in the surface measurement system and the actually measured data verified the performance of the filter. © 2014 SERSC.

When deriving the Fourier diffraction theorem based on the first-order Born approximation,the difference between wave number of the scattering object and that of the surrounding medium is ignored,causing substantial errors in sound scattering *** paper modifies the Born approximation by taking into account the amplitude and phase changes between the scattering object and the water due to the wave number *** changing the radius and center position of the sampling circle in the Fourier domain,accuracy of the predicted sound scattering is *** the modified Born approximation,the computed far-field directional pattern of the scattered sound from a circular cylinder is in good agreement with the rigorous *** calculations for several objects with different shapes are used to show applicability and effectiveness of the proposed method.

grading software system for Bluetooth, breaking out limitation of one-to-one communication mechanism of Bluetooth in the android platform, using the method of the thread pool polling, realized real-time and one-to-many communication with Bluetooth in the android platform and the function of grading. Based on the android platform, the system was fully considered the scalability at the beginning of design. According to different application requirements, new features can be added in the form of increasing functional class. Test data compression scheme based on compatible data block coding

In order to reduce the storage requirements for the test pattern, a test data compression scheme based on compatible data block coding is presented. In the scheme, binary code is used to express the test data which are compatible or inversely compatible with reference data which are improved compression radio. The circuit structure of decompression with a Finite State Machine (FSM) and a Cyclical Scan Register (CSR) was proposed. Experimental results for the large ISCAS 89 benchmark circuits show that this scheme is a very efficient compression method than other compression schemes and the average compression ratio of up to 63.89%.

A new ID-based group signature scheme, in which group managers and group members are all ID-based, is presented in this paper. Our scheme is obtained by using a new way to the construction of group signature schemes and based on an ID-based signature scheme from bilinear pairing. Due to the nice and simple constructive method and the sound properties of bilinear pairing, it is shown that the proposed scheme is very simple and practical and has the advantages of concurrent join, immediate revocation, easy tracing and short signature length. The security analysis is also under the formal security notion of an ID-based group signature scheme. © 2013 academy PUBLISHER.

Hashing is very useful for fast approximate similarity search on large database. In the unsupervised settings, most hashing methods aim at preserving the similarity defined by Euclidean distance. Hash codes generated by these approaches only keep their Hamming distance corresponding to the pairwise Euclidean distance, ignoring the local distribution of each data point. This objective does not hold for k-nearest neighbors search. In this paper, we firstly propose a new adaptive similarity measure which is consistent with k-NN search, and prove that it leads to a valid kernel. Then we propose a hashing scheme which uses binary codes to preserve the kernel function. Using low-rank approximation, our hashing framework is more effective than existing methods that preserve similarity over arbitrary kernel. The proposed kernel function, hashing framework, and their combination have demonstrated significant advantages compared with several state-of-the-art methods.

In information retrieval, efficient accomplishing the nearest neighbor search on large scale database is a great challenge. Hashing based indexing methods represent each data instance as a binary string to retrieve the approximate nearest neighbors. In this paper, we present a semi-randomized hashing approach to preserve the Euclidean distance by binary codes. Euclidean distance preserving is a classic research problem in hashing. Most hashing methods used purely randomized or optimized learning strategy to achieve this goal. Our method, on the other hand, combines both randomized and optimized strategies. It starts from generating multiple random vectors, and then approximates them by a single projection vector. In the quantization step, it uses the orthogonal transformation to minimize an upper bound of the deviation between real-valued vectors and binary codes. The proposed method overcomes the problem that randomized hash functions are isolated from the data distribution. What's more, our method supports an arbitrary number of hash functions, which is beneficial in building better hashing methods. The experiments show that our approach outperforms the alternative state-of-the-art methods for retrieval on the large scale dataset.

On the basis of the motor controller dedicated for electric vehicle, the vehicle realizes automatic transmission, through development of the automatic shift controller. The function of gear-selection and gear-shifting is implemented through air cylinder and shifting fork driven by electromagnetic valve. The MeU detects the vehicle speed, the motor rotating speed, the gear position, the accelerator position and the motor current, adjusts the motor rotating speed and controls the electromagnetic valves. The algorithm of speed tracking adjusts the motor speed accurately and rapidly, and provides guarantee for the dynamic shift. According to vehicle and motor running status, the two-parameter shift schedule combined with the current parameter, improves the motor efficiency and makes the shifting process more smoothly. © 2013 IEEE.
