Laser wakefield acceleration,as an advanced accelerator concept,has attracted great attentions for its ultrahigh acceleration gradient and the capability to produce high brightness electron *** three-dimensional(3d)density serves as an evaluation metric for the particle bunch quality and is intrinsically related to the applications of an *** its significance,this parameter has not been experimentally measured in the investigation of laser wakefield *** report on an electro-optic 3d snapshot of a laser wakefield electron bunch at a position outside the *** 3d shape of the electron bunch was detected by simultaneously performing optical transition radiation imaging and electro-optic *** 3d structures to a few micrometer levels were reconstructed using a genetic *** electron bunch possessed a transverse size of less than 30 *** current profile shows a multi-peak *** main peak had a duration of<10 fs and a peak current>1 *** maximum electron 3d number density was~9×10^(21)m^(-3).This research demonstrates a feasible way of 3d density monitoring on femtosecond kilo-ampere electron bunches,at any position of a beam transport line for relevant applications.

Effect of sodium starch octenyl succinate-based Pickering emulsion on the physicochemical properties of hairtail myofibrillar protein gel subjected to multiple freeze-thaw cycles

A Pickering emulsion based on sodium starch octenyl succinate(SSOS)was prepared and its effects on the physicochemical properties of hairtail myofibrillar protein gels(MPGs)subjected to multiple freeze-thaw(F-T)cycles were *** whiteness,water-holding capacity,storage modulus(G')and texture properties of the MPGs were significantly improved by adding 1%-2%Pickering emulsion(P<0.05).Meanwhile,raman spectral analysis demonstrated that Pickering emulsion promoted the transformation of secondary structure,enhanced hydrogen bonds and hydrophobic interactions,and promoted the transition of disulfide bond conformation from g-g-g to g-g-t and *** an emulsion concentration of 2%,theα-helix content decreased by 10.37%,while theβ-sheet content increased by 7.94%,compared to the *** F-T cycles,the structure of the MPGs was destroyed,with an increase in hardness and a decrease in whiteness and water-holding capacity,however,the quality degradation of MPGs was reduced with 1%-2%Pickering *** findings demonstrated that SSOS-Pickering emulsions,as potential fat substitutes,can enhance the gel properties and the F-T stability of MPGs.

Static random access memorie (SrAM) are used as cache memory in modern embedded system applications. read current and standby leakage are used to characterize SrAM speed and power consumption. read current mainly dominated by N-type transistor device performance, while standby leakage will be an accumulation of all single transistor leakage. SrAM single transistor performance and leakage have strong correlation with Vdd and temperature. In this paper, Vdd and temperature impact to SrAM read current and standby leakage is systematically studied. When Vdd is set from 0.90V to 0.50V, both SrAM read current and standby leakage will become smaller, which can be ascribed to single transistor Idsat and leakage reduce. When temperature change from -40°C to 125 °C, both Hd/HC standby leakage increase drastically, while read current show no obvious change. Standby leakage increase is induced by single device leakage trend up. © 2022 IEEE.

With the development of industrial and military equipment automation and modern control theory, many advanced control algorithms have been studied for controlling multiple motor axes, but PI or PId controllers are widely used in actual industrial sites. However, while PId controllers work well for linear systems, they are limited for nonlinear systems. In particular, it is not easy to adjust the gain when the order of the control object is high or there is a time delay, and if the dynamic characteristics of the control object are degraded even when the optimum gain is set, the PId gain need to be readjusted. In this study, a velocity-based gain scheduling algorithm was proposed when the dynamic characteristics of the control object were changed, and its performance was verified by applying it to actual equipment. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Vacationers always want to choose the hotel that best meets their needs and expectations. For this, they typically use online travel agents (OTAs). OTAs must analyze millions of images from thousands of hotels quickly and classify them accurately to best meet demands. This is a highly complex and challenging task. OTAs also have to choose a default image to represent best way each hotel in order to best market hotels to vacationers and encourage click behavior. This is another challenge to overcome. The biggest problem in classifying millions of images from different areas of hotels is that these areas often have similar objects and environments. For this reason, fewer categories have been used in deep learning (dL) studies conducted so far. In this study, two deep neural networks (dNN) have been developed to accomplish these challenging tasks. The first network is the "hotel image classification network" (HICNet), which classifies images of different areas of hotels into 11 categories. In a multi-class classification task that includes closely related categories such as bar, food, and lobby, the HICNet network achieved very good results, reaching an average of 79% precision, sensitivity, and F1-score. The second network is the "hotel default image network" (HdINet), which enables the determination of a default image for each hotel on the OTA page. HdINet can accurately identify the default image of hotels with an average of 92% precision, sensitivity, and F1-score. These networks have been integrated into the OTA system named *** and are currently in active use. © The Author(s) 2025.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) gradually make it difficult for the patients to move, breath, and express their will as their symptoms progress associated with motor neuron. It is important for the patients to be able to not only communicate their daily needs to someone such as family member of caregivers but also perform their daily activities and participate in society and fulfill social roles without constant support by other people. To improve their ability of independence, the purpose of this study is to develop a cybernic interface that can perform daily living tasks by transiting seamlessly between cyberspace and physical space based on the patient's remaining voluntary motor functions, and confirm the basic performance of the developed interface. The system consists of bio-electrical signals measurement unit, display unit, processor unit, and IoT unit. The system controlled the flipping up and down the head-mounted display (HMd) by estimating the intention of transition between cyberspace and physical space based on the bio-electrical signals of the forearm. When the HMd is attached to the user's face, the user can move at the virtual environment, operate IoT device at the room of physical world via virtual environment, and select voice output for expressing own state by the gaze. To confirm the basic performance of the developed interface for performing daily living tasks by oneself, we conducted basic experiment with an able-bodied participant. As a result, the participant was able to flip up the HMd, move at virtual environment, and operate the TV and lock at the physical space without moving own body similar to ALS patients. In conclusion, we confirmed the basic performance of performing daily living tasks to improve the ability of independence for ALS patients. The cybernic interface that can connect central nervous system to cyberspace and physical space has a potential for removing constraints due to motor dysfunctions and spatial limitation. © 20

Axial Assembled Correspondence Network for Few-Shot Semantic Segmentation

Few-shot semantic segmentation aims at training a model that can segment novel classes in a query image with only a few densely annotated support *** remains a challenge because of large intra-class variations between the support and query *** approaches utilize 4d convolutions to mine semantic correspondence between the support and query ***,they still suffer from heavy computation,sparse correspondence,and large *** propose axial assembled correspondence network(AACNet)to alleviate these *** key point of AACNet is the proposed axial assembled 4d kernel,which constructs the basic block for semantic correspondence encoder(SCE).Furthermore,we propose the deblurring equations to provide more robust correspondence for the aforementioned SCE and design a novel fusion module to mix correspondences in a learnable *** on PASCAL-5~i reveal that our AACNet achieves a mean intersection-over-union score of 65.9%for 1-shot segmentation and 70.6%for 5-shot segmentation,surpassing the state-of-the-art method by 5.8%and 5.0%respectively.
