In amusement applications, the big display device which is bigger than 100 inches that can show over 8K resolutions is required. But such devices are very expensive or not yet exist. We have developed a technology forrealizing a large screen by synchronizing the time of multiple terminals connected with each display. In addition to time synchronization between terminals, we propose a technology to predict the occurrence timing of the vertical synchronization signals (V-Sync) of each terminal and start the rendering process. By using this method, it could be 0.5 frame less than the displacement of the drawing between displays. Thus, an ultra-high resolution display system with a large screen at a low cost by using a multi-display is realized.

In recent years, home ICT services have been actively proposed. To realize the services, power consumption of sensor station increases when a sensor station often wakes up to report sensordata. In this paper, we proposed an application-aware power-saving control method for sensor stations and confirmed an effect of a proposed method which is constructed as OSGi bundle in HGW. By using the proposed method, it is possible to extend a reporting period of sensor station to a requesting period of service providing server. And a timing difference between reception of sensordata andreception of request from the server in HGW can be reduced to 49 msec in the evaluation.

Mobile grid is a branch of grid computing that incorporates mobile devices into the grid infrastructure. It poses new challenges because mobile devices are typically resource-constrained and exhibit unique characteristics such as instability in network connections. New scheduling strate- gies are imperative in mobile grid to efficiently utilize the devices. This paper presents a scheduling algorithm that con- siders dynamic properties of mobile devices such as avail- ability, reliability, maintainability, and usage pattern in mo- bile grid environments. In particular, usage patterns caused by voluntarily or involuntarily losing a connection, such as switching off the device or a network interruption could be important criteria for choosing the best resource to execute a job. The experimental results show that our scheduling al- gorithm provides superior performance in terms of execution time, as compared to the other methods that do not consider usage pattern. Throughout the experiments, we found it es- sential to consider usage pattern for improving performance in the mobile grid.
