mHealth (mobile health) utilizes mobile phones and other wireless technology in medical care which has the potential to improve healthcare system for better and quality life. Even though mHealth got more attention but its adoption are still limited due to lack of awareness and wide level of education in developing countries. With the advancement of technology people are very concerned about the life and life style. After the marriage, couples hope for a wonderful life ahead. However there are lots of concerns which arise in their mind regarding the conjugal life as well as issues related to before, during and after pregnancy. The aim of this paper is to analyze the potential to support them utilizing mHealth. Accordingly we explored research articles, papers and available mobile applications based on the problems a married couple faced during their life stages. We also performed a survey in a large hospital to identify the problems that faced by pregnant women and their family. From our investigation we identified stages required for mhealth adoption for married couples. Consequently it created the opportunities to develop a smart application that can help to address the need. In particular, the app can able to provide the planning of a couple for the contraceptives or to conceive, pregnancy planning and tracking with guideline needed for a pregnant woman along with the role of both husband and wife to help out and finally everything after the birth of the baby. These are the major concerns of our application which can serve as a complete guideline for a couple to overcome the challenges regarding giving birth and growing up a healthy baby. © 2018 IEEE.

The demand of deploying information has enormously increased within the last decade. Numerous distributed computing service suppliers have emerged (for eg., Microsoft Azure, Dropbox) in order to satisfy the requirements for information repository and high performance computation. The customers using the cloud repository services can conveniently arrange as a cluster and distribute information among themselves. Information proprietor computes the signatures for every chunk and deploys in the distributed server in order to allow the public verifier to perform public integrity verification on the information stored on the cloud server. In Panda scheme [1], by using the proxy re-signatures, Cloud Service Provider (CSP) verifies and re-signs the revoked customer chunks in favor of the existing customers. The malicious CSP might use the Resign key deliberately to transform the signature of one customer to another. Apart from this, conspiracy amidst the mischievous cloud server and the repudiated customer reveals the private key information of the customers present in the cluster. We propose Secure Auditing and Re-signing of Revoked Customer Chunks by Cloud Using Regression Method. Re-key computed by the information proprietor using regression method is highly secure and the mischievious cloud cannot detect the private information of the customers in the cluster. Our mechanism is collusion resistant, reduces computation cost of re-sign key by information proprietor and in addition CSP securely performs auditing and re-signing of repudiated customer chunks. © 2018 IEEE.

This study demonstrates the implementation of multi-input-multi-output (MIMO) transmission donut modes in space wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM) over multi-mode optical fiber (MMOF) and simulating the effect of mode coupling of the transmitted signal. However, during the data transmitted over MMF by using SWDM an issue is encountered, which is the inter symbol interference (ISI) due to mode coupling. ISI has been recognized as a major obstacle to high-speed data transmission. The signal processing in SDM of donut modes over MMOF with electrical feedback equalizer is used to improve the performance for increasing the bandwidth. A data rate 80 Gbit/s up for a distance of 1600 meters is achieved. SWDM topology was designed emitted from a spatial vertical cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) through MMOF in conjunction with the configurations of electrical feedback equalizer. The parameters and values used in Opt-Sim simulation topology were listed. The performance measurement of this study based on bit-error rates (BER) and eye diagram before and after electrical feedback equalization were analysed.

DLocRL: A deep learning pipeline for fine-grained location recognition and linking in tweets

In recent years, with the prevalence of social media and smart devices, people causally reveal their locations such as shops, hotels, and restaurants in their tweets. Recognizing and linking such fine-grained location mentions to well-defined location profiles are beneficial for retrieval and recommendation systems. In this paper, we propose DLocRL, a new deep learning pipeline for fine-grained location recognition and linking in tweets, and verify its effectiveness on a real-world Twitter dataset. In this study, p-type spinel CuCo2O4 nanomaterials with abundant oxygen vacancies were synthesized by a facile one-step solution combustion method, and their sensing characteristics have been investigated. The p-type CuCo2O4 sensor shows a high response of 11 to 1 ppm O3 and low responses (3, NO2, SO2, and 1000 ppm ethanol, methanol and acetone) at 90 °C in dry air, indicating a superior selectivity. The sensor also possesses a wide O3 detection range from 10 to 3000 ppb and good repeatability. More importantly, the relative humidity (RH) could promote the electrical response to O3, and the response to 1 ppm O3 only deviates from 24 to 27 as the RH increases from 50% to 90%, benefitting for practical applications in ambient humid air atmospheres. The humidity enhanced response for p-type CuCo2O4 could be ascribed to the competition of hole carrier reduction, O2− active sites reduction and O3 decomposition promotion induced by the hydroxyl groups. © 2022, The Authors. Research on two-dimensional(2D) materials has been explosively increasing in last seventeen years in varying subjects including condensed matter physics, electronic engineering, materials science, and chemistry since the mechanical exfoliation of graphene in 2004. Starting from graphene, 2D materials now have become a big family with numerous members and diverse categories. The unique structural features and physicochemical properties of 2D materials make them one class of the most appealing candidates for a wide range of potential applications. In particular, we have seen some major breakthroughs made in the field of 2D materials in last five years not only in developing novel synthetic methods and exploring new structures/properties but also in identifying innovative applications and pushing forward commercialisation. In this review, we provide a critical summary on the recent progress made in the field of 2D materials with a particular focus on last five years. After a brief backgroundintroduction, we first discuss the major synthetic methods for 2D materials, including the mechanical exfoliation, liquid exfoliation, vapor phase deposition, and wet-chemical synthesis as well as phase engineering of 2D materials belonging to the field of phase engineering of nanomaterials(PEN). We then introduce the superconducting/optical/magnetic properties and chirality of 2D materials along with newly emerging magic angle 2D superlattices. Following that, the promising applications of 2D materials in electronics, optoelectronics, catalysis, energy storage, solar cells, biomedicine, sensors, environments, etc. are described sequentially. Thereafter, we present the theoretic calculations and simulations of 2D materials. Finally, after concluding the current progress, we provide some personal discussions on the existing challenges and future outlooks in this rapidly developing field.

Answer selection is an important but challenging task. Significant progress has been made in domains where a large amount of labeled training data is available. However, obtaining rich annotated data is a time-consuming and expensive process, creating a substantial barrier for applying answer selection models to a new domain which has limited labeled data. In this paper, we propose Knowledge-aware Attentive Network (KAN), a transfer learning framework for cross-domain answer selection, which uses the knowledge base as a bridge to enable knowledge transfer from the source domain to the target domains. Specifically, we design a knowledge module to integrate the knowledge-based representational learning into answer selection models. The learned knowledge-based representations are shared by source and target domains, which not only leverages large amounts of cross-domain data, but also benefits from a regularization effect that leads to more general representations to help tasks in new domains. To verify the effectiveness of our model, we use SQuAD-T dataset as the source domain and three other datasets (i.e., Yahoo QA, TREC QA and InsuranceQA) as the target domains. The experimental results demonstrate that KAN has remarkable applicability and generality, and consistently outperforms the strong competitors by a noticeable margin for cross-domain answer selection. © 2018 COLING 2018 - 27th International Conference on Computational Linguistics, Proceedings. Distantly supervised relation extraction greatly reduces human efforts in extracting relational facts from unstructured texts. However, it suffers from noisy labeling problem, which can degrade its performance. Meanwhile, the useful information expressed in knowledge graph is still underutilized in the state-of-the-art methods for distantly supervised relation extraction. In the light of these challenges, we propose CORD, a novel COopeRative Denoising framework, which consists two base networks leveraging text corpus and knowledge graph respectively, and a cooperative module involving their mutual learning by the adaptive bi-directional knowledge distillation and dynamic ensemble with noisy-varying instances. Experimental results on a real-world dataset demonstrate that the proposed method reduces the noisy labels and achieves substantial improvement over the state-of-the-art methods. © 2018 COLING 2018 - 27th International Conference on Computational Linguistics, Proceedings. The ability to reversibly toggle between two distinct states in a non-volatile method is important for information storage applications. Such devices have been realized for phase-change materials, which utilizes local heating methods to toggle between a crystalline and an amorphous state with distinct electrical properties [1–5]. To expand such kind of switching between two topologically distinct phases requires non-volatile switching between two crystalline phases with distinct symmetries. Here we report the observation of reversible and non-volatile switching between two stable and closely-related crystal structures with remarkably distinct electronic structures in the near room temperature van der Waals ferromagnet Fe5−δGeTe2. From a combination of characterization techniques we show that the switching is enabled by the ordering and disordering of an Fe site vacancy that results in distinct crystalline symmetries of the two phases that can be controlled by a thermal annealing and quenching method. Furthermore, from symmetry analysis as well as first principle calculations, we provide understanding of the key distinction in the observed electronic structures of the two phases: topological nodal lines compatible with the preserved global inversion symmetry in the site-disordered phase, and flat bands resulting from quantum destructive interference on a bipartite crystaline lattice formed by the presence of the site order as well as the lifting of the topological degeneracy due to the broken inversion symmetry in the site-ordered phase. Our work not only reveals a rich variety of quantum phases emergent in the metallic van der Waals ferromagnets due to the presence of site ordering, but also demonstrates the potential of these highly tunable two-dimensional magnets for memory and spintronics applications. © 2023, CC BY.

With the cloud repository service furnished by the cloud computing, users can comfortably arrange themselves as a cluster and distribute information effectively. In order to empower public verifier to audit the distributed information, clients in the cluster need to Figure out signatures on complete chunks of collaborative information. Every client in the cluster modifies and signs his respective chunks, and deploys in the cloud server. Hence specific chunks of shared information are normally signed by specific clients. If anyone of the customers' is found malicious, he is immediately repudiated from the cluster. The prevailing clients in the cluster are permitted to re-sign the chunks that were earlier signed by this eliminated client. This approach is inefficient due to the massive amount of collaborative information in the cloud. By exploiting the approach of proxy re-signatures, the CSP is acknowledged to re-sign chunks in support of the prevailing clients during customer repudiation. When many clients deploy the same information to the cloud repository, repository space has identical copies, hence deduplication technology is usually utilized to lower the capacity and bandwidth prerequisites of the utilities by removing repetitious information and hoarding only an original replica of them. In order to assimilate both data honesty and deduplication in cloud, we present a novel Secure Two Level Deduplication and Auditing of Shared Data in Cloud (STLDAS) mechanism. Experimental results show that our mechanism achieves secure deduplication and appreciable improvement in tag generation.
