With the surge in multimedia applications and the explosion of multimedia information, multimodal recommendation has garnered increasing attention. The core idea of multimodal recommendation is to effectively utilize the multimodal information of items to enhance the performance of recommendation systems. Previous work has primarily focused on integrating item ID embeddings and multimodal representations. However, there are two main drawbacks: first, a lack of interaction between multimodal features, which neglects the inherent semantic relationships within these features. Second, the distribution gap between ID embeddings and multimodal representations adversely affects recommendation performance. In this paper, we propose a novel Multi-stage Interactive Network for multimodal recommendation, named MIN. Specifically, we first discarded the ID embeddings, retaining only the multimodal features to represent the items. Then, we designed a three-stage interaction network to model the multimodal representations and the latent structural semantics between users and items. Additionally, to obtain more general and robust representations, we applied graph enhancement techniques in the final stage to enhance the representations of users and items. Finally, contrastive learning techniques were employed to address the inconsistency in user and item representations. A series of comprehensive experiments on three publicly available datasets have validated the efficacy of our method. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

In the process of coal mine drilling,controlling the rotary speed is important as it determines the efficiency and safety of *** this paper,a linear extended state observer(LESO)based backstepping controller for rotary speed is proposed,which can overcome the impact of changes in coal seam hardness on rotary ***,the influence of coal seam hardness on the drilling rig’s rotary system is considered for the first time,which is reflected in the numerical variation of load torque,and a dynamic model for the design of rotary speed controller is *** an LESO is designed to observe the load torque,and feedforward compensation is carried out to overcome the influence of coal seam *** on the model of the compensated system,a backstepping method is used to design a controller to achieve tracking control of the rotary ***,the effectiveness of the controller designed in this paper is demonstrated through simulation and field experiments,the steady-state error of the rotary speed in field is 1 r/min,and the overshoot is reduced to 5.8%.This greatly improves the stability and security,which is exactly what the drilling process requires.

Existing graph neural network (GNN) based recommendation models depend highly on initial node features and graph structures. Most prior studies do not support the use of additional information on user-item interactions and adopt a transductive method, which has limitations for actual web service. To overcome these problems, we propose Context-aware Inductive Graph Matrix Completion (CGMC), which utilizes context vectors that represent user-item interactions and user-item bipartite graph structures in an inductive manner. Our method constructs context vectors from the review, timestamp, and rating and uses them as edge features of the user-item bipartite graph. Relations between homogeneous nodes are also constructed based on common neighbors. Our model combines context vectors and relational information using Context-aware Graph Attention Networks and Edge Fusion Graph Convolutional Networks. We conducted extensive experiments using six real-world datasets, and the results show that the proposed model achieves superior performances over other competing models. Furthermore, we analyzed the inductive characteristics of CGMC through the cross-domain transferability. Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to human-like intelligence exhibited by computers, robots, or other machines. In popular use, artificial intelligence refers to the ability of a computer or machine to mimic the ability of the human mind to learn from examples and experiences, recognize objects, understand and respond to language, make decisions, solve problems, and combine these and other abilities to perform functions that humans might perform. Artificial intelligence requires experience and data to smarten up the technology. The most important things in making artificial intelligence are learning, reasoning, and self-correction. At the learning stage, AI gives machines the ability to learn tasks without requiring a defined programming language. Then, the reasoning stage is the stage where the reason AI is applied in a technology. The self-correction stage is the stage where the AI is refining itself from and learning from experience in order to minimize errors or problems that exist. Then, this matter is concerned with the parking lot to be discussed. Parking can be interpreted as public facilities available in agencies or offices that serve to store vehicles. Vehicles entering the parking area become tens or even thousands, because it requires a parking system and management area. Such arrangements are capable of parking procedures and even other support systems such as adequate parking facilities and infrastructure, and another function is to create and develop parking systems in general to provide safety and comfort. The methodology obtained from this problem is checking the research model to check and find out the comparison of vehicle user’s Parking System Security between cars or motorcycles, as well as the usual parking lots visited. A Novel Thermal Analysis Method for Tubular PM Linear Motors Based on Transfer Learning

Thermal modeling and analysis are critical for permanent magnet linear synchronous motors (PMLSMs), particularly in multi-physical analysis and motor design optimization. This paper proposes a new method for thermal steady state modeling and analysis based on transfer learning, which combines the thermal mechanism model with the data-driven model to achieve high-precision temperature analysis with small number of finite element analysis (FEA) samples. First, an equivalent thermal circuit (ETC) model is established for PMLSMs based on the structural parameters and heat transfer principles. Second, a hybrid model based on transfer learning is developed: the model is pre-trained by a large sample set generated from the ETC in the source field (mechanism analytical model), and then the trained model is transferred to the target field (FEA data-driven model). The parameters of the neural network in the target field are optimized by a few FEA sample sets with higher precision to improve the prediction accuracy of the target model. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method significantly boosts the performance of the deep neural network (DNN) model, particularly when training sets are small. The root mean square error (RMSE) of the DNN model decreases by 0.901 in the 5:5 (training/testing) dataset and 1.726 in the 2:8 dataset;and the corresponding R2 and maximal absolute error of motor performances are significantly decreased. The smaller the proportion of the training set, the better performance of the hybrid modeling will achieve. Furthermore, a temperature rise experiment conducted on a prototype motor validates the efficacy and precision of the proposed hybrid modeling methodology. © 2015 IEEE.

Channel prediction is an effective approach for reducing the feedback or estimation overhead in massive multi-input multi-output (m-MIMO) systems. However, existing channel prediction methods lack precision due to model mismatch errors or network generalization issues. Large language models (LLMs) have demonstrated powerful modeling and generalization abilities, and have been successfully applied to cross-modal tasks, including the time series analysis. Leveraging the expressive power of LLMs, we propose a pre-trained LLM-empowered channel prediction(LLM4CP)method to predict the future downlink channel state information (CSI) sequence based on the historical uplink CSI sequence. We fine-tune the network while freezing most of the parameters of the pre-trained LLM for better cross-modality knowledge transfer. To bridge the gap between the channel data and the feature space of the LLM,preprocessor, embedding, and output modules are specifically tailored by taking into account unique channel characteristics. Simulations validate that the proposed method achieves state-of-the-art (SOTA) prediction performance on full-sample, few-shot, and generalization tests with low training and inference costs.

A novel finite-time complex-valued zeroing neural network (FTCVZNN) for solving time-varying Sylvester equation is proposed and investigated. Asymptotic stability analysis of this network is examined with any general activation function satisfying a condition or with an odd monotonically increasing activation function. So far, finite-time model studies have been investigated for the upper bound time of convergence using a linear activation function with design formula for the derivative of the error or with variations of sign-bi-power activation functions to zeroing neural networks. A function adaptive coefficient for sign-bi-power activation function (FA-CSBP) is introduced and examined for faster convergence. An upper bound on convergence time is derived with the two components in the function adaptive coefficients of sign-bi-power activation function. Numerical simulation results demonstrate that the FTCVZNN with function adaptive coefficient for sign-bi-power activation function is faster than applying a sign-bi-power activation function to the zeroing neural network (ZNN) and the other finite-time complex-valued models for the selected example problems. © 2022 The Franklin Institute

Genetic Algorithm (GA) are common probabilistic optimization methods inspired by the process of natural selection. Quantum computers promise substantial speedups over conventional machines, and libraries allow the emulation of circuits on a quantum computer in different highly configurable noise models and even run on quantum computers. Therefore, we need to analyze this class of heuristic methods in the quantum context. We propose a circuit level implementation of the Reduced Quantum Genetic Algorithm (RQGA) using Python and Qiskit. Our main goal is to analyze the circuit complexity from the perspectives of the number of qubits required and the number of quantum gates used. To achieve our goal, we instantiate the framework for solving the knapsack problem, examine the results in a simulated environment, and analyze the circuit's complexity. © 2022 IEEE.

Fisheye imaging technique plays an important role in various areas. However, fisheye lenses can cause severe image distortion, which requires distortion rectification for these images. However, after distortion rectification, the images will suffer from the problem of resolution reduction, and the degree of resolution reduction varies in different regions. This problem will directly affect the subsequent process of image content analysis. Therefore, it is needed to adopt a super-resolution reconstruction algorithm to enhance the resolution of the fisheye rectified image. This paper designs a multi-path cascaded deep network which performs super-resolution reconstruction of fisheye rectified images. Through the multi-path deep network structure, the features of the fisheye rectified image are learned from multiple aspects at the same time, and the residual learning approach is introduced to further diminish the difficulty of network training and improve the super-resolution results. The mean square error loss is used to supervise the training process of the proposed deep work. The super-resolution reconstruction model is obtained which takes the input low-resolution fisheye rectified image as input and generate the super-resolution result. The results of super-resolution reconstruction experiments demonstrate that the proposed multi-path cascaded deep network can effectively enhance the resolution of fisheye rectified images, and can provide higher quality images for fisheye image analysis. © 2023 IEEE.
