With the popularity of encryption protocols, machine learning (ML)-based traffic analysis technologies have attracted widespread attention. To adapt to modern high-speed bandwidth, recent research is dedicated to advancing zero-trust intrusion detection by offloading feature extraction and model inference into the network dataplane. Especially, with the rise of programmable switches, achieving line-speed ML inference becomes promising. However, existing research only considers a single switch node as a relay to conduct evaluation. This is far from real-world deployments involving multiple switches (given that zero-trust security assumes that threats can originate from anywhere, including within the network), particularly the multi-path routing phenomenon that exists in practice. In this paper, we reveal practical challenges in the context of enabling line-speed model inference in the network dataplane. Furthermore, we propose FCPlane, the forwarding and computing integrated dataplane for zero-trust intrusion detection that aims to enable efficient load balancing while providing reliable traffic analysis results, even against multipath routing. The core idea is to reconcile forwarding and computation to the flowlet level, for which a tailor-made Markov chain model is designed. Based on two public traffic datasets, we evaluate seven state-of-the-art in-network traffic analysis models deployed in four types of topologies (three with multipath routing and one without) to explore performance impact and demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposal. © 1983-2012 IEEE.

Deep neural networks suffer from the notorious problem of catastrophic forgetting when the tasks keep increasing. The inaccessibility of previous data due to privacy limitations and other issues directly leads to a significant drop in performance in prior tasks. Existing incremental class learning (ICL) methods in semantic segmentation are mostly regularization-based. While in this work, we incorporate a generative replay-based approach to alleviating catastrophic forgetting for the first time. We introduce SegGAN to generate both previous images and the corresponding pixel-level labels to circumvent privacy limitations and replay them to retain learned knowledge in the subsequent learning steps. Furthermore, we propose a novel filtering mechanism to select high-quality generated data by the consistency constraint of the Pseudo-Labeling and generative replay method. Specifically, we use Pseudo-Labeling to obtain the pseudo-labels of the generated images and select reliable data with high confidence by comparing generated labels with pseudo-labels. © 2022 Owner/Author.

Introducing magnetic order into topological insulator（TI） to break the time-reversal symmetry can yield numerous fascinating physical phenomena,which brings new hope for the emerging spintronic *** proximity effect is regarded as a promising strategy that could advance the step for realistic application by choosing a suitable ferromagnetic layer with the merits of high Curie temperature and high compatibility with mainstream semiconductor ***,we prepare a Bi2Se3thin film on Sicompatible ferromagnetic semiconductor（FMS） of MnxGe1-xby molecular beam *** integration,the nonmagnetic Bi2Se3exhibits an anomalous Hall signal and a clear weak localization cusp in magnetoresistance until 150 K,confirming that a high-temperature magnetism can be induced by the proximity *** investigation of the magnetoconductance quantitatively indicates that the Bi2Se3conductance suffers a transition from weak antilocalization to weak localization behavior after integrating with MnxGe1-x,and an 80 meV bandgap is predicted to be opened in the surface states in Bi2Se3layer due to the proximityinduced *** results prove that the proximity effect could be an important method to achieve topological magnetism at high temperatures,and reveals its potential for the manipulation of the topological surface states.

In carotid endarterectomy surgery, it is crucial for the surgeon to accurately locate the stenosis. Due to the medical application of this method and the actual research cost, Electrode, which is commonly used in medical fields, was chosen as the detection target in this study. To address the above issues, this paper proposes an Electrode-assisted human key point detection algorithm based on channel attention and adaptive feature fusion, and conducts experiments using a self-labeled dataset. To improve the detection accuracy in complex scenes and complete a large amount of computation in a short time, a series of techniques were employed, including using a deeper convolutional neural network, a larger receptive field, and more feature layers to enhance detection accuracy, fusing convolutional layers, using FPN and other acceleration techniques to improve detection speed. The channel attention mechanism can adaptively learn the importance of each channel, thereby capturing key information in the image better and improving the model's generalization performance. The adaptive feature fusion can adaptively learn the weight of each feature map, thereby better fusing feature information from different levels and further improving the model's generalization performance. The experiment shows that the average accuracy of this method on the dataset is 89%. © 2023 IEEE.

Affordances - i.e. possibilities for action that an environment or objects in it provide - are important for robots operating in human environments to perceive. Existing approaches train such capabilities on annotated static images or shapes. This work presents a novel dataset for affordance learning of common household tasks. Unlike previous approaches, our dataset consists of video sequences demonstrating the tasks from first- and third-person perspectives, along with metadata about the affordances that are manifested in the task, and is aimed towards training perception systems to recognize affordance manifestations. The demonstrations were collected from several participants and in total record about seven hours of human activity. The variety of task performances also allows studying preparatory maneuvers that people may perform for a task, such as how they arrange their task space, which is also relevant for collaborative service robots. © 2025 IEEE.

Monthly Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite(VIIRS)Day-Night Band(DNB)composite data are widely used in research,such as estimations of socioeconomic ***,some surface conditions affect the VIIRS DNB radiance,which may create some estimation bias in certain *** this paper,we propose a novel normalization algorithm for VIIRS DNB monthly composite *** aim is to normalize VIIRS radiance,collected under different surface conditions,to a reference point,so that the bias is *** algorithm is based on the utilization of stable lit pixels as a reference and a nonlinear regression algorithm,to match un-normalized data to the reference *** results show that the algorithm could improve correlation(R2)between the total sum of nightlights(TOL),electric power consumption(EPC),and gross domestic product(GDP)at both a global and local *** algorithm could significantly diminish the seasonal component of un-normalized nightlights radiance caused by *** intensified nightlights radiance in sandy regions could also be reduced to a more reasonable range in comparison with other *** inspection shows that the brightness of snow-affected and sandy regions was strongly reduced after undergoing normalization.

Mixed reality and augmented reality technologies have been introduced into the field of surgical navigation for many years. Although many scholars have done a lot of research on holographic-based medical navigation techniques, the registration of preoperative MRI to the patient in a realistic clinical environment is still an existential problem. In this paper, a register method to align the preoperative medical images of patients to the intraoperative patient's body is proposed. The proposed approach simplifies the complex overall registration task of preoperative images of patients into the registration of local critical features. The proposed method extracts the patient's facial key features from the preoperative medical images and 3D information of the clinical environment reconstructed by Intel RealSense, respectively. And then the mapping transformation between the facial key features of preoperative medical images and the patient's key features in the realistic environment was estimated by the fusion of centroid movement and rigid point set registration algorithm of Coherent Point Drift. The centroid movement method performs preliminary alignment by overlapping the centers of mass of two sets of alignment data. For the two sets of alignment data containing noise and outliers, the Coherent Point Drift method is used to refine the alignment results. In the experiment of 4 key features the modified Hausdorff distance value is 3.2403 mm, the RMSE value is 5.8412 mm, and the TRE value is 5.6454 mm. The experimental results show that the proposed method is able to perform a robust and accurate alignment even though the preoperative medical images and the 3D information of the MR/AR environment come from different spatial coordinate systems and that noise and outliers are present in both data. © 2023 IEEE.

Continuing previous works on MacWilliams theory over codes and lattices, a generalization of the MacWilliams theory over Zk for m codes is established, and the complete weight enumerator MacWilliams identity also holds for codes over the finitely generated rings Zk[ξ]. In the context of lattices, the analogy of the MacWilliams identity associated with nu-function was conjectured by Solé in 1995, and we present a new formula for nu-function over the lattices associated with a ternary code, which is rather different from the original conjecture. Furthermore, we provide many counterexamples to show that the Solé conjecture never holds in the general case, except for the lattices associated with a binary code. © 2025, CC BY.
