Pore engineering emerges as a critical strategy for improving carbon cathodes in Zn-ion capacitors (ZICs). Nevertheless, harmonizing the ratios of various pore levels, including macropores, mesopores, and micropores, to concurrently achieve superior Zn storage capacity and sustained cyclic stability within ZICs represents an ongoing and intricate challenge. In this work, we propose a novel pore and doping engineering strategy for the carbon cathode, achieving N-doped ordered macro-/meso-/microporous carbon (denoted as N-Macro/Meso/Micro-C) via templating methods. In which, the ordered interconnected macropores can provide channels for rapid electrolyte diffusion, the mesopores can act as intermediaries, bridging the gap between the macropores and micropores, optimizing the ion transport pathways, and the micropores can provide abundant active sites for Zn-storage. Furthermore, the introduction of N atoms within carbon enhances Zn-ion affinity and stability. As expected, ZICs assembled with the N-Macro/Meso/Micro-C cathode exhibit remarkable performance, delivering a high Max. energy/power density of 143.14 Wh kg−1/40.1 kW kg−1. Remarkably, after 50,000 cycles, the ZICs can retain 88 % of their initial capacity, illustrating robust cyclability. These advancements are further validated in flexible Zn-ion micro capacitors, showing excellent performance under mechanical stress. The colloidal crystal template-based pore engineering design philosophy will provide direction for the development of the next generation of high-performance Zn-ion based devices. © 2025 Elsevier Inc.

The process of installing electrical cables physically in a specific location inside a library block is widely considered as an electrically equipped place. It involves planning the particular route, securing the cables and ensuring technical support and proper protection. In a library block, the process of installing electrical wires can provide power and electrical connectivity to various devices and systems. An insulation resistance tests were conducted a high voltage flow to the insulation and measures the resistance ratio to the actual current flow after cable installation. Testing of measurements given in table. Algorithms help to identify all kinds of weaknesses and faults in the insulation that could lead to any electrical leakages or short circuits. The insulation resistance test is primarily important to ensure the safety and reliability of electrical systems. It is particularly needed in an environment like a library. Libraries are filled with books made of papers that are easily flammable in nature. So, we should give top priority to electrical safety in libraries. Minimum constrained non-linear minimization solver is used to identify the iteration levels and verified with best function values and first order optimality values. This paper shows performance analysis of Insulation resistance test and Cable laying installation in a Library block.

In this work,we reported a series of monolithic 3D-printed Ni-Mo alloy electrodes for highly efficient water splitting at high current density(1500 mA cm^(-2))with excellent stability,which provides a solution to scale up Ni-Mo catalysts for HER to industry *** possible Ni-Mo metal/alloy phases were achieved by tuning the atomic composition and heat treatment procedure,and they were investigated through both experiment and simulation,and the optimal NiMo phase shows the best *** functional theory(DFT)calculations elucidate that the NiMo phase has the lowest H2O dissociation energy,which further explains the exceptional performance of *** addition,the microporosity was modulated via controlled thermal treatment,indicating that the 1100℃sintered sample has the best catalytic performance,which is attributed to the high electrochemically active surface area(ECSA).Finally,the four different macrostructures were achieved by 3D printing,and they further improved the catalytic *** gyroid structure exhibits the best catalytic performance of driving 500 mA cm^(-2)at a low overpotential of 228 mV and 1500 mA cm^(-2)at 325 mV,as it maximizes the efficient bubble removal from the electrode surface,which offers the great potential for high current density water splitting.

ECAMP: Entity-centered Context-aware Medical Vision Language Pre-training

Despite significant advancements in medical vision-language pre-training, existing methods have largely overlooked the inherent entity-specific context within radiology reports and the complex cross-modality contextual relationships between text and images. To close this gap, we propose a novel Entity-centered Context-aware Medical Vision-language Pre-training (ECAMP) framework, which is designed to enable a more entity-centered and context-sensitive interpretation of medical data. Utilizing the recent powerful large language model, we distill entity-centered context from medical reports, which enables ECAMP to gain more effective supervision from the text modality. By further pre-training our model with carefully designed entity-aware, context-enhanced masked language modeling and context-guided super-resolution tasks, ECAMP significantly refines the interplay between text and image modalities, leading to an enhanced ability to extract entity-centered contextual features. Besides, our proposed multi-scale context fusion design also improves the semantic integration of both coarse and fine-level image representations, prompting better performance for multi-scale downstream applications. Combining these components leads to significant performance leaps over current state-of-the-art methods and establishes a new standard for cross-modality learning in medical imaging, whose effectiveness is demonstrated by our extensive experiments on various tasks including classification, segmentation, and detection across several public datasets. A high-quality enrollment speech is crucial to target speaker extraction (TSE), since it provides essential cues for identifying the target speaker in the mixture. However, real applications usually only permit a short enrollment speech, e.g. a wakeup word for a mobile device, that provides limited cues. To address this issue, we propose an enrollment augmentation strategy that allows us to enrich the limited enrollment speech with massive text data through speech synthesis. By doing so, the extended enrollment speech contains enhanced speaker timbre and phonetic content which leads to better extraction quality. Furthermore, we propose a training data augmentation strategy to improve the model’s robustness and generalization in short enrollment speech scenarios. Experiments on Libri2Mix demonstrate that our proposed strategies bring a significant improvement in extreme scenarios where only 0.5s and 1-word enrollment speech is provided. Continuous Bijection Supervised Pyramid Diffeomorphic Deformation for Learning Tooth Meshes From CBCT Images

Accurate and high-quality tooth mesh generation from cone-beam computerized tomography (CBCT) is an essential computer-aided technology for digital dentistry. However, existing segmentation-based methods require complicated post-processing and significant manual correction to generate regular tooth meshes. In this paper, we propose a method of continuous bijection supervised pyramid diffeomorphic deformation (PDD) for learning tooth meshes, which could be used to directly generate high-quality tooth meshes from CBCT Images. Overall, we adopt a classic two-stage framework. In the first stage, we devise an enhanced detector to accurately locate and crop every tooth. In the second stage, a PDD network is designed to deform a sphere mesh from low resolution to high one according to pyramid flows based on diffeomorphic mesh deformations, so that the generated mesh approximates the ground truth infinitely and efficiently. To achieve that, a novel continuous bijection distance loss on the diffeomorphic sphere is also designed to supervise the deformation learning, which overcomes the shortcoming of loss based on nearest-neighbour mapping and improves the fitting precision. Experiments show that our method outperforms the state-of-the-art methods in terms of both different evaluation metrics and the geometry quality of reconstructed tooth surfaces. © 1999-2012 IEEE.

Scaling with MgO thickness of the proximity exchange field in a Fe/MgO/Si contact

The scaling of the proximity exchange field, which ferromagnetic Fe exerts on the spin accumulation at the MgO/Si interface of Fe/MgO/Si tunnel contacts, was investigated using the inverted Hanle effect. Data as a function of the applied bias voltage shows that the exchange field varies with bias in the same way as the square of the tunnel spin polarization (TSP). The decay of the exchange field with increasing MgO thickness tMgO is rather weak and nonexponential, which we argue to be related to the improved epitaxial quality of the MgO, and the, consequently, improved spin-filtering properties at larger MgO thickness. Using the TSP data to correct for this yields an exponential decay of the exchange field with tMgO with a decay length of λ=−0.42 nm. Comparing this to the decay length for the tunnel conductance (λ=−0.21 nm) suggests that the exchange interaction is dominated by two-step tunneling processes.

Relativistic digital Twin: Bringing the IoT to the Future

Complex IoT ecosystems often require the usage of digital Twins (DTs) of their physical assets in order to perform predictive analytics and simulate what-if scenarios. DTs are able to replicate IoT devices and adapt over time to their behavioral changes. However, DTs in IoT are typically tailored to a specific use case, without the possibility to seamlessly adapt to different scenarios. Further, the fragmentation of IoT poses additional challenges on how to deploy DTs in heterogeneous scenarios characterized by the usage of multiple data formats and IoT network protocols. In this paper, we propose the Relativistic digital Twin (RDT) framework, through which we automatically generate general-purpose DTs of IoT entities and tune their behavioral models over time by constantly observing their real counterparts. The framework relies on the object representation via the Web of Things (WoT), to offer a standardized interface to each of the IoT devices as well as to their DTs. To this purpose, we extended the W3C WoT standard in order to encompass the concept of behavioral model and define it in the Thing Description (TD) through a new vocabulary. Finally, we evaluated the RDT framework over two disjoint use cases to assess its correctness and learning performance, i.e., the DT of a simulated smart home scenario with the capability of forecasting the indoor temperature, and the DT of a real-world drone with the capability of forecasting its trajectory in an outdoor scenario. Experiments show that the generated DT can estimate the behavior of its real counterpart after an observation stage, regardless of the considered scenario. © 2023, CC BY.
