This paper describes the black-box system identification and iterative learning control algorithm which apply to a quadcopter. At first, two feedback control loops from angles and angular velocities are implemented to stabilize the system, then the experimental data and the models of roll and pitch are identified via a black-box routine. For more accuracy of angles measurement, the complementary filter is used to fuse the data of the inertial measurement unit (IMU). An iterative learning control (ILC) method is then applied to the closed loop system with the aim of following trajectories of the roll and the pitch angles. The designed controller was first applied to the roll and pitch model separately and then applied to both angles simultaneously. The experimental result is presented and discussed.

This paper presents one approach for validating a work domain analysis by mapping the action patterns of operators against the work domain space developed by the analysis. A finite element model of piezoelectric fiber transducers bonded to an aluminum plate is used to study planar guided waves inspection of a plate. It has been shown that a linear combination of in-plane and out of plane strains matches the transducer obtained voltage better than it does displacements. A combination of infinite elements and viscous surface tractions were employed to minimize unwanted boundary reflections to enable study of sensor sensitivity to small defects. Finally, design of a piecewise sensing element has led to successfully defining the location of a crack that is only 1.5% the length of the transducer.

In this paper, the formation control problem of multi-train systems with fixed topology is considered by model free adaptive *** using the distributed model free adaptive control method, a data driven control algorithm is designed with only using the data information of trains’ traction, speed, and *** proposed algorithm can guarantee that each train can perfectly track the desired speed and the distance between adjacent trains is always within the minimum safe distance and the maximum guard distance.A simulation of the three-train system illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
