The effectiveness of Large Language Models (LLMs) in tasks involving reasoning is significantly influenced by the structure and formulation of the prompts, contemporary research in prompt engineering aims to help LLMs better understand the paradigms of reasoning question (e.g., CoT). However, these efforts have either struggled to effectively incorporate external knowledge into single prompt or integrating entire corpus information, often fails to significantly enhance the reasoning capabilities of LLMs. This paper introduces a novel prompting method that incorporates implicit hints that represent logical combinatorial relationships between known conditions in reasoning problems, guiding LLMs to think correctly in the initial steps of reasoning for such problems. Extensive and comprehensive experiment results on four different reasoning problem datasets indicate that our proposed method improved accuracy while maintaining efficiency.

The current High-Speed Railway(HSR)communications increasingly fail to satisfy the massive access services of numerous user equipment brought by the increasing number of people traveling by *** this end,this paper investigates millimeter-Wave(mmWave)extra-large scale(XL)-MIMO-based massive Internet-of-Things(loT)access in near-field HSR communications,and proposes a block simultaneous orthogonal matching pursuit(B-SOMP)-based Active User Detection(AUD)and Channel Estimation(CE)scheme by exploiting the spatial block sparsity of the XLMIMO-based massive access ***,we first model the uplink mmWave XL-MIMO channels,which exhibit the near-field propagation characteristics of electromagnetic signals and the spatial non-stationarity of mmWave XL-MIMO *** exploiting the spatial block sparsity and common frequency-domain sparsity pattern of massive access channels,the joint AUD and CE problem can be then formulated as a Multiple Measurement Vectors Compressive Sensing(MIMV-CS)*** on the designed sensing matrix,a B-SOMP algorithm is proposed to achieve joint AUD and ***,simulation results show that the proposed solution can obtain a better AUD and CE performance than the conventional CS-based scheme for massive IoT access in near-field HSR communications.

Aiming at the existing deep learning-based fall detection model in multiple complex scenes such as multi-person scenes, long-distance scenes, and occlusion scenes, there are problems such as leakage detection and false detection. In this paper, we take the falling person as the research object, construct a dataset containing multiple complex scenes such as multi-person scenes, long-distance scenes, and occlusion scenes, and propose a fall detection model based on improved YOLOv5. By improving the backbone network and neck network structure of the detection model, the problem of low accuracy of fall detection due to incomplete target deformation features and target detail features in complex scenes is solved. The proposed algorithm in this paper achieves an average accuracy of 92.78% for fall detection in complex scenes, and the detection speed reaches 36 frames/second. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

This study analyses the Electromagnetic Immunity (EMI) of STT-MRAM. By exhaustively exploring and verifying the Electrostatic discharge (ESD) and Electrical Fast Transient (EFT) of STT-MRAM, the impact of ESD and EFT on the performance of STT-MRAM is investigated, the potential threat of transient electromagnetic interference to STT-MRAM memory is revealed, and suggestions are made to improve its electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), which provides an important reference for its reliable application. ©2024 IEEE.

VideoQA-SC: Adaptive Semantic Communication for Video Question Answering

Although semantic communication (SC) has shown its potential in efficiently transmitting multimodal data such as texts, speeches and images, SC for videos has focused primarily on pixel-level reconstruction. However, these SC systems may be suboptimal for downstream intelligent tasks. Moreover, SC systems without pixel-level video reconstruction present advantages by achieving higher bandwidth efficiency and real-time performance of various intelligent tasks. The difficulty in such system design lies in the extraction of task-related compact semantic representations and their accurate delivery over noisy channels. In this paper, we propose an end-to-end SC system, named VideoQA-SC for video question answering (VideoQA) tasks. Our goal is to accomplish VideoQA tasks directly based on video semantics over noisy or fading wireless channels, bypassing the need for video reconstruction at the receiver. To this end, we develop a spatiotemporal semantic encoder for effective video semantic extraction, and a learning-based bandwidth-adaptive deep joint source-channel coding (DJSCC) scheme for efficient and robust video semantic transmission. Experiments demonstrate that VideoQA-SC outperforms traditional and advanced DJSCC-based SC systems that rely on video reconstruction at the receiver under a wide range of channel conditions and bandwidth constraints. In particular, when the signal-to-noise ratio is low, VideoQA-SC can improve the answer accuracy by 5.17% while saving almost 99.5% of the bandwidth at the same time, compared with the advanced DJSCC-based SC system. This paper considers a human assistive system of the rehabilitation for lower-limb using the exoskeleton. When the patient feels the fatigue in the rehabilitation, the power assist is needed to continue and to stop safety. First, the proposed power assist equipment using exoskeleton is indicated. The DC motor, the torsion spring, worm wheel, worm gear are used. Next, the control system using PI controller is proposed. The encoder attached to the knee joint is used as the reference value and the encoder attached to the motor is controlled by the motor. Finally, an experiment of repeated flexion and extension of the knee joint is conducted. It is verified that the motor can be controlled to be same angle of the knee angle. Therefore, the power assist by the exoskeleton is useful for the rehabilitation.

Hydrogen generation through seawater electrolysis provides a promising,attractive pathway towards the utilization of sustainable ***,the catalytic activity and stability of oxygen evolution anode are severely limited by the chloride-induced corrosion and competitive oxidation *** this work,we demonstrate an anion-assisted performance improvement strategy by quick and universal screening of electrolyte additive via correlating Cl-repellency with the anionic ***,the addition of phosphate ions is found to enable highly stable alkaline seawater splitting at industry-level current density(0.5 A cm^(-2))over 500 h using transition metal hydroxides as anodic *** situ experiments and theoretical simulations further reveal that the dynamic anti-corrosion behaviors of surface-adsorbed phosphate ions are attributed to three factors including repelling Cl-ions without significantly blocking OH-diffusion,preventing transition metal dissolution and acting as a local pH buffer to compensate the fast OH-consumption under high current electrolysis.

Hals-770 Interlayer Simultaneously Block Internal and External Degradation Paths of Perovskite for Stability and High Efficiency Perovskite Solar Cells

Here, we proposed a feasible solution using bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl) sebacate (HALS-770) molecules as top protection layer of perovskite. The hindered amine groups of HALS-770 can form N-O· free radicals in oxygen environment and then react with superoxide (O2·-) to remove O2·- , hence improve the antioxidant ability of perovskite. Moreover, the water resistance of perovskite is improved by hydrophobic alkyl chains and hydrophilic groups adsorbing free water within perovskite, achieving double waterproof effect. HALS-770 not only suppress the external degradation path of perovskite but also block the channel of its internal degradation. The heterocyclic N atom and the carbonyl oxygen included in HALS-770 can coordinate with uncoordinated Pb2+ ions, block volatilization of organic cation and inhibit Ag+ and I- migration, thus improve thermal stability of perovskite and alleviate destruction of Ag electrode. As a result, the unencapsulated device maintains excellent stability over 95% of its initial efficiency after 30 days in ambient condition with about 25–50% humidity, and possesses remarkable continuous operation stability with projected T80 > 1400 h at maximum power point tracking in glove box, much higher than that the pristine device. Meanwhile, HALS-770 enable the achievement of efficiency of 21.89% , which is among the highest efficiencies for MAPbI3 based PSCs with p-i-n structure. Further, HALS-770 is used in FAMA-based devices with n-i-p structure, the efficiency of 23.03% and 20.73% are achieved for the devices with active area of 0.06 and 1.0 cm2, respectively. Also, HALS-770 devices show excellent stability. This work illustrates the key role of HALS-770 top interlayer in achieving high-performance photovoltaic devices. © 2024, The Authors.
